This classic platinum five-star hotel is a favorite of ours. We returned and opted for a suite, which was very comfortable. The service and cleanliness are excellent, and we'll definitely be back.
As a five-star hotel, it absolutely delivered on luxury and offered an amazing experience.
The location deserves a special mention – it's incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. You can walk to both Metro Line 1 and Line 10, making travel completely effortless. Step out of the hotel, and you're right at a shopping mall with so many shopping and dining options it's hard to choose. All your retail...
China World Hotel is truly a perfect hotel! I was so pleasantly surprised to find out it was a filming location for 'The Tale of Rose' after checking in. The environment is elegant and luxurious, and the rooms are clean and comfortable! I'm so satisfied! The lobby also has a stamp for check-ins and sugar painting activities, which all the kids loved!
This old five-star hotel is still well-maintained, but this time, during the May Day holiday, there were so many guests that even the Executive Lounge was packed. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner were all swamped, which really impacted the stay experience. Also, the food at the Executive Lounge was genuinely subpar, especially the afternoon tea, which has dropped several levels compared to before...
The hotel lobby is still grand and opulent. While the common areas of the hotel feel a bit dated, they are very well-maintained.
The breakfast, however, was quite disappointing, much worse than at many other Shangri-La hotels. The live cooking station was a bit dirty, and only offered noodle soup and wontons (which had to be made fresh). For the noodle soup, you could only choose the broth, with no...
The lady at the front desk was very friendly and even gave us a free room upgrade. The only downside was that without a robot delivery service, takeout couldn't be brought up to the room, so I had to go downstairs to pick it up myself.

The staff service was quite good. The room window faced the new TV station directly. The air conditioning in the room was a bit old, and the air quality was a bit poor; we had to ask the cleaning staff to open the windows for ventilation every day. The pool environment was pretty good, and it wasn't crowded. The hairdryer at the pool was a Dyson, which was much better than the one in the room, which...
The hotel service was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and check-in was super fast. The room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping was prompt and meticulous. Any requests were handled quickly. It was a comfortable and reassuring stay, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again!
A really great hotel, grand and elegant. It's a five-star property with a wide variety of delicious and well-prepared breakfast options, plus lots of different drinks. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I'll definitely book again next time.
Amazing location, comfortable bed and room and the pool and sauna is so relaxing after a long day
The views are incredible! I booked this hotel specifically to see the CBD, and the front desk upgraded me to an even better room with a fantastic view.
The hotel is conveniently located near the CBD, making dining options easily accessible. The staff were all wonderful and provided excellent service. They have a swimming pool and hot tubs, and there's a subway station right outside, which makes getting around incredibly easy. Overall, I highly recommend it.

The location of hotel is good, metro is close, breakfast was amazing, everything is so clean, but most of all i am fascinated with hair dryer amazing one😅 very good hotel, highly recommended!!! On photo the view from room.
This is an older hotel. The service was excellent, and the location is superb. Right outside the window is Jianguomenwai Avenue, bustling with traffic, giving you a real sense of the capital's energy. The room itself is a bit dated, and you have to shower standing in the bathtub. The Sihuaxuan restaurant is very good, which is definitely a plus for the hotel.
It was alright, pretty satisfied for a family trip. The only downside was that the bathroom had a bathtub for showering, and the showerhead was broken on the first night, couldn't hang it up. We told the staff the next day, and they immediately arranged for a replacement. Everything else was fine.
I come here often, and the front desk staff member, Li Yingjie, is always very welcoming. The room is also clean.
The Beijing Hotel has a great location, and the rooms are new and recently renovated. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and the soundproofing is good. The hotel's front desk service is excellent; they are very responsive to requests. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will definitely visit again.
The room was a bit old and small, but the service was good. They even provided a humidifier. The location is absolutely fantastic, right by the subway entrance. It's also convenient for dining out, though many restaurants in the Guomao commercial area have long queues. Breakfast was excellent – perhaps because the price is a bit high, there weren't many people, making for a comfortable dining experience...

Huge thanks to Changjiu, the doorman! He greeted me when I arrived and was there again when I checked out. He was incredibly enthusiastic, proactively helping me with my luggage, opening car doors, and guiding me. His smile was truly infectious. The hotel's location is excellent, offering a quiet retreat despite being in a bustling area, and it's incredibly convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. The doormen and front desk staff are all very polite and always ready to assist with any requests.

The hotel was fantastic! We booked a family room and our kids loved the slippers, bathrobes, and children's toiletries. The location is also excellent.
My stay here was fantastic! The room was beautifully decorated and cozy, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The bedding was so soft, I slept incredibly well. The service was very thoughtful. Although they couldn't upgrade our room, they still sent a bottle of red wine for our anniversary. The room facilities were a bit ordinary, but the location near Guomao was extremely convenient. Breakfast was a bit average.
Having stayed in countless hotels, this time my main impression was that the hardware has significantly deteriorated. Although I know Shangri-La maintains their properties meticulously, issues like the faulty door lock indicate it's definitely due for a major renovation. The light meals at the Horizon Club have also declined. Having witnessed the hotel's growth, I sincerely hope to see improvements...
location is good but facing a business building, the room is very clean and service is good. Breakfast is good as well.It actually connected to another mall in the BCD area which is quite convinence.
The concierge in the lobby was very professional and the front desk processed check-in quickly. Although some of the room facilities are a bit dated, the bedding was very comfortable. The bathroom amenities were nice to use. For an executive room, it would have been even better if the bottled water provided was mineral water. The food and drink selection at the executive lounge was good, and the service...
The hotel boasts excellent facilities, is well-equipped, and centrally located. Highly recommended! The breakfast was also very good.
Although it's not a brand new hotel, the facilities and cleanliness are still quite good. Thumbs up for the gym! My only complaint is the breakfast – it's honestly the worst five-star hotel breakfast I've ever had. There was barely anything, and the quality was terrible, truly hard to describe. Paying over 500 for breakfast for two adults and one child, it felt more like a 5-dollar meal. I'm so annoyed...

It's an older hotel, but the location is excellent, right next to the subway station and commercial areas like Guomao. Even though the hotel is a bit dated, it's incredibly convenient for getting around, making it my top choice for business trips. The service attitude is also great.
The hotel is right next to the subway station, which makes getting around super convenient. There are also a lot of restaurants nearby. I was really happy with the cleanliness, service, and overall environment. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time!
This was my second stay, but this time the room was quite dim. The window opened up to an equipment platform, and all I could see outside were air conditioning units. I stayed for three days, and the minibar was never refilled. Plus, there was renovation noise from upstairs in the mornings. At over 600 RMB a night, the value for money is a bit low.
This is an older hotel, and even though it's a bit dated, many of the details are still very well-executed. For example, they have a sterilizing cabinet and a 'Tu Ye' (Lord Rabbit) decoration, which really showcases Chinese culture effectively.
Great location! You can drive right up to the entrance. The hotel's a bit dated, but the facilities are all there and it's super convenient for dining and getting around. Breakfast was really good too.

A friend of mine stayed here before and said it was okay, so I didn't hesitate too much to book it. When I arrived, I found it was indeed pretty good. You can tell the rooms have seen better days, but they're not unbearable and didn't bother me. The soundproofing here is excellent, much better than other places I've stayed. Ella provided great service, but I wish there were better parking discounts
The room was spacious and bright, and the surrounding transportation was convenient, only a ten-minute walk from Metro Line 1 and Line 2. It was very easy to get to Wangfujing, Tiananmen, the Forbidden City, and the National Museum. I've stayed at Shared Hotel multiple times over the years. It's located right in the Guomao shopping center, so the surrounding area is great and transportation is super convenient. They have a Shared Canteen with a diverse selection of dishes and snacks, which is nice for meals. The room facilities are a bit dated, but it's excellent value for money and suitable for a wide range of guests.
I had a very comfortable stay here. The location is excellent, right in Beijing's CBD. The service was also great.
Although the facilities are a bit old, they are exceptionally well-maintained! I love the solid, classic feel of these older hotels. The location is absolutely fantastic, right in Beijing's CBD core, and getting a price like this there is truly a rare find! This stay was just okay. The front desk staff has changed, and the overall feeling isn't as good as before. Hardware-wise, the room had a smoke smell, and when I switched rooms, the bathroom door was broken. For this price point, they should really be checking things daily. I stayed at this hotel for a week in early November. I chose it primarily for its relatively close proximity to the city center (convenient by taxi or subway), and because I wanted to avoid the crowded areas around popular attractions – which can still be packed even in the off-season.

I stayed here for a week at the beginning of November. I chose this hotel mainly because it’s relatively close to the city center (easy to reach by taxi or metro) and because I wanted to avoid the crowded areas near major tourist attractions — even in the low season there were still hundreds of people there.

First of all, the room is large, the bathroom has a bathtub, and the details are well prepared. Especially the front desk lady is warm and generous, and the staff I saw are very proactive.

The slippers were really poor quality, even had hair on them. Overall, it didn't feel like a 4-star hotel; more like a budget motel. Very disappointing. Even the elevator buttons were crooked. For over 800 a night, this level of quality is unacceptable. I won't be staying here again.
The room was very comfortable and conveniently located near Guomao, making it easy to get to Guomao Mall. The front desk staff were all very nice, and the sofa bed was really practical.
