This hotel is located on Changshou Road, within walking distance of Metro Lines 7 and 13, making it convenient to get to Jing'an Temple and the Bund. There's a wide variety of dining options nearby. The rooms are business-chic and spacious, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom and Australian toiletries. High-floor rooms offer excellent views. Public facilities include an outdoor pool and a gym. The breakfast spread is extensive, and there's a Thai restaurant and a Western restaurant on-site. The concierge and room service are attentive, though there can sometimes be a wait at the front desk during check-in. A downside is that room access is restricted to your floor, and parking is charged. Overall, the value for money is upper-middle among five-star hotels in the city, making it suitable for business travelers.

This hotel is great! The decor is lovely and the soundproofing is good. The location is also very convenient 😁 The service attitude is excellent 👍 and it offers good value for money. I stay here often ~ highly recommended!!

Had a very comfortable stay at this hotel during my trip to Shanghai. The service, as always, was excellent. Evan from the lobby was humble and polite, and very knowledgeable about local attractions. He recommended many restaurants and places to visit in Shanghai. 👍

The hotel is very clean, furniture a bit old but very good experience overall. A bit of weird musty smell in the room. Good location, close to subway and food options. Also hotel has a burger venue downstairs which is a bit expensive but good. View from the windows was great.

Nice hotel a bit higher in price, but worth it considering the neighboring hotel ratings.

Check-in was easy. Though early, they held my bags and have dining inside or nearby. Walking distance within many stops like the outdoor mall, X Tower, and Green Jade Buddah. Lots of bikes or taxis available.

Concierge and Housekeeping respectful. Bathroom amenities and views great. Comfortable bed. Breakfast nice and sufficient. Thanks for the Dragon Boat gift 🎁

Seriously, everyone, please avoid this hotel at all costs! The hygiene is simply unacceptable. I pulled a tissue from the dispenser in the bathroom, and it was stained with what looked like blood. I immediately contacted the lobby manager. When she came and saw it, she said she couldn't make a decision and needed to consult with a senior manager, telling me to wait about 10-15 minutes until 10:30 AM for a response. But by 10:30 AM, no one had come to my room to follow up. I ended up calling the police directly. Afterward, I had to go to the hospital for blood tests. This whole incident is just outrageously unbelievable. When the police arrived, they also took several of the contaminated tissues, noting that the stained areas were even larger and darker than I'd initially seen. It's truly ridiculous. Seriously, don't go there!

When I checked in last night, I also noticed the lobby was quite messy, and it seemed no one was cleaning it regularly. I never expected the room to be this bad.

The room was large and comfortable. Although the facilities were a bit dated, they were very well-maintained. The service was also proactive, warm, and attentive. The executive lounge had a beautiful environment with a wide variety of delicious options, and the breakfast was also extensive. The set meal at Thai Ying Restaurant was huge; two people couldn't even finish it.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times, and unfortunately, on the day of my most recent stay, there was window cleaning service outside, so I had to keep the curtains closed the whole time. More importantly, the soundproofing is really poor. Or perhaps it was the noisy neighbors who left their door open; either way, I was surrounded by noise all night long, ugh! Another area that needs improvement is the hotel service. When I carelessly left some clothes in my room and called immediately, the front desk's service was quite inefficient. I didn't get a prompt reply, so I had to call again about 8 minutes later to inquire. Finally, they confirmed the forgotten items and agreed to mail them to me!

The front desk staff was very inefficient, especially a woman named July Yu. Her attitude was poor, she was slow, and spoke very softly. She ruined our first impression of the hotel! The facilities were limited, and the pool was empty and closed.

Does the hotel seriously need to train their housekeeping staff? The hairdryer bag was tied in a dead knot, and I spent 10 minutes trying to untie it to no avail. I ended up having to rip it open forcefully.
