Facilities: As expected, Jaya and Layan's design truly shines. Even after 16 years, it remains incredibly classic and timeless. I particularly love the bamboo grove at the entrance; walking through it gives you a feeling of being a hidden oasis in the bustling city.
Hygiene: I'm very satisfied that there were no strange odors in the room. The duvet cover and sheets were changed daily during our two-night stay.
Environment: Upon entering the lobby, you're greeted by the iconic 33-meter long bar, which still looks incredibly current even after more than a decade. The materials used are very understated and refined – rattan, and gleaming dark wooden floors. The attention to detail is superb, with design elements echoed in the lobby's sofas and round stools. The floral arrangements in the public areas are also beautiful.
Service: There was always staff by the elevator to press the buttons, and the front desk staff were very responsive to all our requests. They even waived the parking fees for two nights. The in-room service was excellent, making us feel right at home. I would definitely stay here again.

The service was incredibly thoughtful. They even deliver takeout to your room, and the mini-bar is free and refilled daily – such attention to detail! I absolutely loved the room and the hotel environment. Overall, it's very modern, detailed, and caring. Highly recommend!

The hotel boasts an excellent location in the heart of Jing'an Temple, right next to a subway entrance. It's a designer hotel with a truly elegant atmosphere, and the outdoor coffee bar in the lobby is a unique touch. The front desk staff, breakfast servers, and housekeeping were all incredibly thoughtful and enthusiastic. My only complaints are that after more than a decade of operation, many of the facilities are showing their age. And what's more, despite the not-so-cheap room rate, they still charge for parking.

Extremely satisfied, excellent! The room was comfortable, and the mattress was incredibly cozy. The bath was amazing too! The service experience was fantastic! Everything about this stay was 100% perfect! Truly lives up to the reputation of The Puli. Mini bar: completely free.

The most impressive aspect was definitely the service. They weren't intrusive, yet always appeared right when you needed them. A special thanks to Jay, whose gentle and meticulous service made us feel truly valued. It wasn't a by-the-numbers interaction, but a genuinely warm and personal exchange.

The room was excellent, and the room service was very attentive. Turndown service was prompt. Check-in and check-out at the front desk were quick, and they even offered Kung Fu tea upon arrival. Chloe and Candy provided very thoughtful and considerate service. From arrival to departure, they were always warm and professional, making the trip feel especially welcoming. Highly recommend!

The only minor issue was that the shower controller for the overhead rain shower in the room wasn't clearly marked for switching directions, making it easy to turn the wrong way and get sprayed with cold water.

It's a 5 star review because these guys do a pretty good job at everything they do, consistent and across the board and whilst you may have had better in a dedicated restaurant to a certain cuisine it's unlikely you had the same consistently across all cuisines and to a good standard. Element fresh manages it and does it well.

The salad was great, perfect for a weekend lunch. If the weather is nice, the balcony is a perfect place to eat and enjoy a semi-quiet place in the city.
