Hotels on first line in Egypt

I guess people go to see, swim and enjoy the sea, not the pools. But according to the reviews, people have more important things left, I have a pool in my city too. This is the only reason for the lower rating

The tide is constantly present. Around two or three in the afternoon, the water comes up to the shore. The beach is beautiful, sandy. There is space, but you have to wear shoes to enter the sea

Beautiful, amazing thing doing. Food: Not the best, not the worst, edible and a great selection. Beach: I don't know what's more important to people than the beach and the sea

In the morning hours, due to the retreat of the sea, you have to walk about 200, 300 m. Services: Wifi, All honor, in this hotel you have it in the lobby and in the room. In the lobby, waiters will serve you

When Chef Mahmoud learned about my celiac disease, he took special care to make sure I was looked after. That kind of attention matters and it doesn't happen at most places

There's a warmth here in how the team treats people, accommodating and respectful, even when some guests don't return the favor. At the end of the day, a resort is its people

That's not the hotel's fault, and they shouldn't carry that score. The food was delicious — genuinely better than what I've had at large resorts in Greece or elsewhere

Mahmoud and the front kitchen staff, the room cleaners, the gardeners — the staff as a whole were friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming

The rest is just a building and upsell services, and those shouldn't carry the same weight as the team that actually makes your stay what it is

It's a big operation and nothing runs perfectly every moment, but the dedication here is real. Beautiful location, clean sandy beach in Sahl Hasheesh, and a team that genuinely cares

I recently spent a wonderful week at a resort in Marsa Alam, and it was a truly exceptional experience. The food quality was good, offering a great variety of delicious dishes throughout the stay

The beach was well maintained, the beach beds very comfortable and the closest bar offers drinks during the whole day, and in the afternoon hot dogs and hamburger

There is no sand entering into the see, you find the reef, so don't forget your reef shoes, the snorkeling area is accessible via a pier, you can find a lifeguard that can borrow you a safety jacket

What truly elevated the experience was the staff

Most of the members were very polite, attentive, and always ready to assist with a warm smile, also the entertainment team was very present during the day activities and the night shows

During our two-day stay, we were the only four Chinese guests; everyone else was European or American. The hotel is quite large and has its own beach where you can swim and snorkel

The food selection was rich and tasty; the roasted camel meat was particularly delicious. The beach bar also served freshly baked pizza from a wood-fired oven every afternoon and offered daily specialty cocktails

Bibo at the pool — his energy and engagement were unforgettable; I remembered his name from the very first day

The bathroom drain was very slow and would get clogged during peak water usage in the evening, but showering outside of peak hours was fine. The hotel has four restaurants, but only the main restaurant was open every day

The hotel is located in Makadi Bay, about 30 kilometers from Hurghada city center. Prima Life in Makadi Bay seems to be one of the hotels with the highest occupancy, almost always fully booked

The service at the front desk, restaurant, and bar was good, with one exception: a waiter named Mohammed at the Oriental restaurant completely ignored us

Luckily, I had money on my card, but I no longer felt like making any other purchases at the hotel. The system for beach towels, tied to the room number, is strange

The food is tasty, though without exotic seafood. The grilled food is delicious, and there are various soups. Lots of vegetables and different meats

Check-in was quick as I arrived at the hotel late at night. However, the promised fruit plate wasn't there!

Towels were given out strangely; on the first day, there were two (for two people), and then one was added each day. But the towels and linen were clean. Of course, there are no slippers or bathrobes in the room

Fruits included guava, physalis, melon, apples, oranges, dates, and bananas. All the fruits were tasty and ripe. But the alcohol is a real pain; it's of terrible quality. We got seriously ill after trying it

However, you are entitled to a free lunch at the Italian restaurant, which is located at the end of another hotel (a 15-minute walk or about 8 minutes with the transfer, which runs every 10 minutes)

I opted for the sea view room this time, and the scenery is truly indescribable; the beauty of the view is something you have to experience in person. The service remains top-notch across the board

It was pleasant and peaceful. An ideal place to enjoy the sea.

I would like to specifically commend Moataz at the front desk for his professionalism and class. Additionally, Another Moataz at the outdoor lounge was exceptional

His ability to connect with people while maintaining a high standard of hospitality is impressive, and he clearly possesses the leadership qualities of a manager

Beach is lovely and snorkelling from jetty amazing. needs updating but we were happy and comfortable. Nice buffet with wonderful choice. Service everywhere was friendly and helpful

The hotel is beautifully located right by the Red Sea, with a stunning private beach and crystal-clear water — perfect for relaxing and snorkeling. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling

Red Sea rep left us to go to reception ourselves, no welcome drink. Reception staff very un welcoming. Twice during our holiday we asked them for info and directions

no help at all! When they wanted coins changing for notes they were changed men!! Now the good. Grand Makadi has a wonderful pool area. Lots of sunbeds and helpful staff

The hotel has a laid-back feel with lots of pools and space, so it never feels too crowded. The beach bar was a highlight, a bit livelier than the lobby but still relaxed

Some staff are great, others come across as uninterested. You’ll also be regularly interrupted by spa sellers and excursion reps, even when trying to relax by the pool, which quickly gets irritating

rooms are amazing, food is very delicious. they have 4 pools, and long beach where you can do snorkelling. I would advise you to rent snorkelling fins and goggles for 30 egyptian pound each from city center for 1 day

The resort boasts a stunning pool, a relaxing sauna, and a picturesque beach, all of which added to the luxurious feel of the place

This is a great resort, fully accessible by golf carts, multiple pools and restaurants, views from beach front rooms is amazing. Stayed for 5 days and have seen 5 wonderful sun raise from the room...

I love the vibe. The hotel is full of hidden gems. It has 2 salt water pools and one fresh water. The rooms are spacious and very pleasing. Several restaurants offer breakfast and dinner.

And you can do snorkelling all day in hotel's beach. Person who showed us room looked at me with eyes "give me tip", but I didn't give tip

Overall, La Meridian Resort is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and excellent service in Dahab. The serene environment, combined with top-notch amenities, makes it a memorable destination

Highlight was snorkelling at the private beach. On a few minor negatives that I feel I should mention! Pool snack bar at aqua park not that appealing. Very dark seating area and the food options were minimum

The main restaurant was especially welcoming, and the service really stood out. The swimming pools and aqua park were a highlight of the trip

The pools were clean and well supervised, and the slides provided endless fun for both children and adults

The food throughout the week was excellent, with a great variety available at every meal. There was always something for everyone, including plenty of fresh options and dishes the whole family enjoyed

Being all inclusive is great but the drink options not so great. Only local spirits available which were vodka, brandy, whisky or gin. If you don’t like those then you’re limited to what you can have

Overall, this was a fantastic family holiday, and we would happily return again. Highly recommended for families looking for great facilities, excellent service, and a fun, relaxing atmosphere

Negatives: * patio furniture on hotel room balconies needs fixing, and a new paint job * the way mosaic tiles in the pools are repaired is so shoddily with glue all over I had to take a photo of it * the food selection can get boring after several days * drinks are served in small glasses (2dl) that having a two pints of beer means flagging down the waiter 5 times

EXCELLENT staff, huge resort with lots of beautiful paths to walk, during nighttime lights make MAGICAL atmosphere. it was my birthday stay and I even received a cake from the hotel. would definitely come back

it helps to tip them at the start Positives: * the corals and the marine life at the beach is simply amazing - I have never seen such a variety of fish of magnificent colors so easily available, in shallow water close to the coast * the service at the restaurants and bars is good overall (I did not require room maintenance so I can't speak to that)

Yes, the hotel is not new, but this is absolutely compensated by the outstanding attitude towards guests — with care, attention, and a genuine desire to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable

The hotel grounds are green and well-maintained, and the staff is very attentive and responsive. I do wish the birds wouldn't steal food from the terrace, but overall, for this price range, everything is good

I got diarrhoe from their food, (dispite this it was delicious) also their network is pretty slow and for a couple of days it was not available to coonect to it, except next to the other houses and in the main area

I recently stayed at Amphoras Blu Resort in Sharm El Sheikh, and it was an amazing experience! The resort is truly beautiful and well-maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms offering great views

The beach is wide, with beautifully arranged and spacious sunbed areas—you’re not crowded together like in many other destinations

I stayed in room 2201, facing the pool, and every morning the staff handling towels were speaking very loudly to each other from a distance. Other than that, I definitely recommend this hotel

The only negative aspect I would mention is that some staff do not seem to realize that guests are resting in the morning. There is quite a bit of loud talking across the pool area

The sea is just super, great beach. The territory is huge and beautiful! There are many stores where you can shop, no need to go to Old town and Naama Bay. Time "in Domine", is an hour from the Egyptian

There are evening shows, a diving center (highly recommend - boat trip+dive+lunch+equipment rental is 25$), disco, casino, Spa, pool, etc. Cleaning and change of towels in the room was carried out daily

Spa was amazing and the massage was even better! Sadly I left my ring on the table on the lobby and have tried to contact the hotel since but not heard back from anyone and I am unable to call directly to the number now I’m back in the U

The Four Seasons in Egypt was the worst experience I had. The hotel or its agents seem to deliberately create communication barriers to make exorbitant profits

Unfortunately couldn’t use the beach due to the waves and jelly fish but the pool is nice and clean

for the price we pay, the suit is too small and feel only three star as the sea side resorts

Like heaven sure we have our bad days and burdens but when you visit Four Seasons San Stefano they vanish at least for the time we stay there. Thank you to every single person working at FS not even one negative comment

Hotel Show was very funny The food was excellent, the rooms were clean and good. The beach was very nice for swimming and also at sunset while playing volleyball with Kimo

What made our stay extra special this time was the amazing service from Sayed, the lifeguard, and his entire team. They were always ready to help, incredibly friendly, and truly made our stay even better

The rooms are excellent, clean, spacious and fully equipped. Everything here is just right. From service to facilities, it is complete. There is a reason we keep coming back for the fourth time

The only thing we could complain about is that a few bartenders very aggressively wanted more for a tip than we offered for each visit, even though we didn't require anything special

I appreciate it is unfair to leave towels on sunbeds for hours when you are not occupying them but precedent had been set in the hotel and their application of this was unfair and inconsistent
