Bedroom layout. Including a sofa meant bed was too close to bathroom doors. Having a separate toilet, means you have to walk round to wash hands. Bath very slippery. The hotel was clean and very comfortable and the front desk staff was extremely helpful through the trip. They let us keep one of rooms for a late check out so we could sneak in a little more shopping & lunch before driving home. But perhaps the best thing was the location- can’t be beat! Across the street from Les Halles market and a block from great bd and clothes shopping.

I would suggest bath mats in the shower particularly for older people, once the water has hit the shower it tends to be a bit slippery. We had an excellent two night stay at the Hotel Jules Verne. The staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful . The hotel is spotless and the lovely outdoor pool was a real bonus. This hotel is excellent value for money- clean perfectly adequate rooms with a comfortable bed and nice en suite facilities! The facility is clean and well-maintained. The staff are friendly. Since it's a chain, I plan to use it again when I travel to other areas. There's a small kitchen, so you can cook. It's very close to the train station, just a few minutes' walk, perfect for catching an early train. It's about a 10-15 minute drive from the city center. Overall, the rooms are relatively spacious but comfortable. If you don't like red wine, I wouldn't recommend the medieval town. The hotel requires several passcode to enter various gates, and they change the passcodes on different days. It is quite inconvenient for customers to bring along the passcode sheet and see which gate requires which passcode on which day. And the attendants did not clean our room as requested.
