Such a huge difference between this Ibis and the one we stayed in at Montparnasse the night before. Clean, spacious room, a/c that worked and friendly staff made for a pleasant overnight stay…tasty breakfast as well!

Very clean room, staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the old town of Sarlat and we are already planning to stay there again. However, we will probably book a larger room. The room we had was perfectly acceptable from an amenities and decor point of view, just a little on the small side.

The hotel is located right on the edge of the medieval town (the old ramparts) and our room was on the third floor, with two rooms. This was an overnight stopover driving through from Spain to Paris... It was as expected. The receptionist was very nice and helpful and the accommodation had been recently improved. A little outside of town, and the locals (at the corner shop) were to be avoided.

I must say that the rooms could use a touch of freshening up and feel somewhat dated. Our room, in particular, lacked blinds due to a malfunction, and the curtains were not sufficient to block out the light. Also, a little air conditioning would be nice for the summer months. However, the reception staff were very pleasant.

One night to put up with it. Not too bad but the car park is in a poor state and up the street from the hotel entrance .. which is not great when it is raining and you have to drag your luggage along uneven pavements and over bumps and potholes all while getting soaking wet.

Very comfortable A hotel undergoing renovations that is very good in terms of the renovated rooms! Everything is there for a truly comfortable stay! In my opinion, the breakfast could be improved a little by expanding the selection...very poor compared to the quality of the hotel.

A great place to stay with super hosts. A great location only seconds away from Port Vieux beach yet set on a quiet road. The hosts Stephanie & Thierry are super helpful. They are proud and passionate Basques who can recommend what we see in the region. Breakfast was lovely including local Basque cheese, ham & jam. The only place to stay in Biarritz in my opinion.

I really don’t understand the negative reviews. Yes there is no elevator but that is not the hotels fault. They brought our luggage up to our room so I don’t see the issue that others are having. Really good place to stay for a budget hotel rooms are ample and well equipped beds are comfortable. The welcoming note and gifts went down as storm with our group the only problem was the stairs if you have limited mobility as there is no lift to the other floors but the staff went above and beyond to be helpful and moved one of our group to a lower floor. Me and My friend stayed there last night in Room 116. The room was nwat bathroom beautiful, and very spacious considering there was two twin beds. A nice overlook from the balcony of the train station and Broadway.

Neat and spacious rooms, nice dinning room and lounge, and fully garnished kitchen, with complimentary tea & coffee. (stone stairs to the 2nd floor bedrooms may be a challenge for parents of very young kids/if parking around seems easy by night, can be time consuming under daylight).

Wonderful experience! Loved the location, the room, and the ease of checkin. It felt like we were on a street in “real Bordeaux” but we were a five minute walk from the tourist center. Easy self check-in (they send you a code an hour beforehand) and lovely breakfast. Next time we’ll stay longer!!

Superb location, excellent rooftop bar with the best music and a great view of the little beach. Surrounded by the old port town streets. Be aware, nearsest free car parking is a 20 minute walk away. The lack of personal attention and engagement from staff (although polite) made it feel more like a hostel than an hotel.

I stayed here with a school group for two nights, and I would happily return. The hotel and rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the location very quiet. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the breakfast offered a variety. The location was good, with public transport options around the corner as well as a small shopping centre and various eateries.

This hotel provided great service and the staff did everything they could. Price was great value. The location was not near anything useful. No grocery, pharmacy nor restaurants. Breakfast would compare with a USA continental breakfast, except the pastry was better. Not a large selection and you are better off getting breakfast here as there is nothing real vlose.

We arrived late and the concierge was a really kind and helpful despite her limited English. Although the hotel is about 10 min walk to the medieval downtown I felt was great away from the noise and easy access to main road to continue our journey.
