It was alright, but the price was a bit high. We stayed in the smallest room with no view.

Lovely reception when we arrived. Candy was very helpful and informative. The hotel is a lively oasis from the city.

Overall great Staff is great and very helpful with directions and recommendations. Housekeeping had a habit of turning on the towel heater to 29 C and leaving it on all day with the door closed. Also not great with masking sure bath supplies were stocked. But would definitely stay there again. Clean, quiet, friendly, great location, and breakfast.

Best of Bordeaux Fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. Located within easy walking distance of shops, cafes and supermarket, plus a Roman ruin to visit just across the road! This hotel was a great choice for a stay in Bordeaux. Luca at the front desk was amazing!! He helped get reservations at local restaurants and was eager to please. The breakfast was well attended with great varieties of tea and coffee. The location was great as well as we were headed out on a river cruise and walked to our ship. Highly recommend staying here.

From start to finish the stay was great. We arrived early on our bikes and they allowed us early access, and we could store the bikes safely. The room was spotlessly clean, super comfy, and whisper quiet. It’s a 10 minute walk to the old town.

3 stars The room was small and felt a bit cramped. Parking was not free, and the spaces were both limited and very tight, which made it hard to park. The hotel was also hard to find, located in an area with narrow streets that made driving tricky. Not the easiest place to stay, but okay if you don’t mind these challenges

The hotel is very stylish and beautiful garden and common areas. The staff were very helpful and polite. However, room was noisy, and the shower got all the floor wet in the bathroom. What a gem! The hotel was absolutely stunning only footsteps away from the beach and very centrally located to shops. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the staff took great care of us even leaving us a box of chocolates as a welcome for me and my finance. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located near the Grand Plage, shopping, sightseeing, and eating. We had a very comfortable ocean view room, with all the amenities we needed. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.

We spent two lovely days in Pau and were delighted to be guests in the Hotel Le Roncevaux for that time. It is an older hotel but is nicely upgraded with all modern conveniences. And the location in Pau is perfect for the visitor. The staff was friendly, courteous and made the extra effort to ensure our satisfaction. I recommend the hotel without any hesitation!

Economic, Economy stay with zero frills. Premium room was spacious but property is aged and in a bit of disrepair. Shower leaked onto bathroom floor creating a large river and pools of water on an already spongy floor. The bathroom toilet has a ugly stain and the shower hose doesn't have a holder so your hands cannot be free when you shower ...other than that everything was fine.

I really love this hotel. It is part of the Contact chain of hotels. The room was nice, clean and spacious. The public tram is only a few minutes from the hotel. Parking is easy and free. There is no laundry facility in this room, though ******* lists it as one of the amenities. There is a laundromat in the shopping mall close by. Overall, La Provencale is great value for the money.

We first stayed her some five or six years ago. It was lovely then and was this time as well. It’s been refreshed as well in terms of decor. Staff very polite and helpful, rooms clean and tidy. The rooms are comfortable (the bed was great) the rooms are extremely small. The shower so small that my husband (6’2”) had to open the shower door to properly wash. This is a great motel with good facilities in a convenient location. Room is small but well furnished with tea making facilities and a hairdryer. Bed was very comfortable and room was quiet despite being close to main routes. Staff were very friendly and the motel is just 10.minutes walk from a shopping centre with several eating places. The room was clean, air-conditioned, and comfortable. It faced the canal and had a great view. The only disappointment was that the refrigerator was too hot, so the fruit I bought at the market didn't last very long.

Amazing, absolutely love it, gorgeous and breathtaking area, so traditional and lovely, the sauna is pure and the experience on me felt like God was trying to reach to my soul, it's very sunny and the kids were playing so nicely and innocently. Not great, not terrible. Stayed there for one night. Parking spot can be found on the street. Its around 30 minutes walk to the center, but it is a nice way with good views. Unfortunately, our room had an issue with the shower drain. So showering without flooding the bathroom was impossible... Additionally, it could have been cleaner (dusty bathroom vent, etc).

Great location and balcony views of the seaside. Rooms are clean and functional for a short stay. Rather expensive for the facilities. Sadly no coffee making or safe facilities. The fridge however was a welcome bonus, as was the onsite parking. The automatic heating was frustrating and the air conditioning very noisy; but still a plus in the warmer weather.
