4 days into a 10 day stay in Bordeaux at the Quality Hotel. A wonderful place to stay in the center of the Bordeaux scene. There is no reason to try anywhere else.We love it here. Staff cleanliness and comfort all 5 star

Very centrally located. Amazing breakfast, soft beds, moderate noise in the room and some maintainance needed.

Honestly loved this hotel, the bed was soft and comfy, the room was small but not too small, I had room for my luggage and everything. Location was perfect right by the longest pedestrian shopping street in Europe and the highlight, they have glass water bottles for you to fill up in the lobby with filtered water or sparkling water to take to your room

Location is terrific. Right on a walking street in a busy part of town. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Front desk staff were amazing.

The room was OK. It rained during our stay, and the first room we were given had a strong odor. It was fine after we changed the room, but the air conditioner didn't work, and the room was quite cold. The bathroom heater didn't heat the room the next day. When checking in, we had to show our credit card, but we just touched the card and didn't know what it was for. Nothing else.

The staff were efficient, very friendly and very helpful. The room and ensuite were quite small but clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was okay but not high pressured. Unfortunately there was no kettle and no tea and coffee supplies in the room. Sadly missed. Also there were no information leaflets in the room eg. meal times, menus, facilities available etc.

Room is good, bathroom is a bit too small with no toiletries. Most shocking no water at all except for a dispenser in the lobby. The heat in Bordeaux is very strong so the hotel should consider the hydration of their guests. Water is cheap to provide.

Got there from an overseas flights and took a shower early afternoon. Asked for additional towels as only 2 were in the room for a double occupancy. Went downstairs to ask for more for a later shower and was given attitude for daring asking for additional towels. This is supposedly the higher end of ibis hotels chain. 1/2 coffee machines were not operating as always needed to be fixed by the staff...

Our stay was great!! The location was really good, a nice walkable area with nearby bus & tram stops. A couple stops away or a simple walk away will get you into the city centre which was great. The rooms, bathroom & all amenities were very clean and matched images. I was struggling to figure out how to use the tv's chromecast but the staff responded very quickly & helped me with that which I appreciated...

2 nights in La Rochelle after a break of many year 2 nights in La Rochelle after a long gap. So glad we came back and so so glad we decided to stay here. What a fabulous sudden gem in La Rochelle. Never mind 5* recommendation, I give it a 10*. Perfect in every way!!

Great hotel with pleasant lobby and bar. The location is near le port so no need for a car once you are settled in in your hotel. You can visit the city by foot.

Key to our stay was the provision of secure parking. The hotel was exceptionally clean and staff were particularly helpful. Albeit the rooms were well kitted out, we did find the toilet quite cramped. English tea would be useful along with some fresh milk for the rooms, may be a small fridge would assist. We would most definitely stay upon our next visit.

The location is fantastic! Just a few minutes to the main train station for getting to and from destinations like the airport or Cite du Vin. It’s only a few minutes to get to all the shopping and restaurants. Their service was excellent! The desk staff were very helpful. The bar and kitchen staff were superb. The bedrooms are generous in size and well-decorated. Bathrooms lack hair conditioner, make-up mirrors and are poorly lit. Towel warmer didn't work. The bathroom floor was very slippery when wet. The waitstaff were friendly and very accommodating. The front desk staff couldn't be bothered. Food was good, but not noteworthy.

This hotel has been remodeled to a very modern facility. The room was well decorated and the bath area was very large offering both a shower and bath. It seemed to me the bathroom floor was heated. It had a small patio with a view of the top of the large fountain in the park. Location in the central area was great. Well worth the visit.

Annoying fire alarm around midnight turned out to be caused by a burnt steak.

We woke up late and missed breakfast. We asked the lady serving breakfast if it was too late and she kindly prepared us a breakfast just for us. She was so friendly and helpful. Her service was above and beyond and we can't thank her enough. Réception was also very friendly. Id recommend this hotel purely for the servive. Only negative was the air con in the room which was 26c all night.

Can’t speak highly enough about the location. Hotel itself was solid and very good for the price. Air conditioning in room 405 should probably be looked at. Didn’t work effectively even on not especially warm nights.

A quirky, cosy hidden away hotel in the centre of La Rochelle near to the marine and main restaurant eating area. There is no parking facility at the hotel, but there are carparks nearby. It is a dog friendly hotel with simple, small and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast.

Super location, great views from our 4th floor window. Bijou but great for two. Friendly service, staff happy to help in English if needed. You do have to find somewhere to park if travelling by car. We used Place de Verdun (17 euro per day).

Room was too warm. It was 37C when we arrived and we needed to cool the room down.We had air-conditioning but it was useless. Both of us barely slept the first night because of the heat and humidity in the room. Would expect a lot better from a fairly expensive hotel. Breakfast room needs to be decorated or a least some decent seating.

Lovely hotel in perfect central old port location. We stayed 2 nights in early October - suspect pool will be lovely in summer. To get to front of hotel by car, street bollards need to be lowered (phone hotel). However, a French strike/demonstration made these inactive on our arrival - we parked in the old port underground car park 500m away which is excellent.

It was almost 770 euros for 3 nights, the most expensive stay in our Europe trip. Nothing special. The room was unexpectedly small. But it was tidy and comfortable.

It's located right next to the tourist information center, so it's in a great location. It's also close to a tram station, so it's very convenient for sightseeing. We were a group of 24 tourists and Hotel Konti was the perfect place to stay. For me, this was the perfect location in the 'golden triangle' of Bordeaux. It's central, but quiet. Easy to feel in a local neighbourhood while being also in the heart of the city. The hotel is nice, living in an historic building of the university of Bordeaux. Just not recommended for friends to stay as the shower room is too open and too many mirrors inside the room.

Hotel close to airport. You need to place hanger on front door to get room cleaned. Breakfast was very good. Bus transportation is tricky but when mastered it’s effective.

We stayed for one night at this hotel. We received a warm welcome, and the room, though simple, was clean with a comfortable bed and a kettle provided. The breakfast buffet was good and offered a wide variety of choices. The only minor drawback was that I unfortunately couldn't get the gluten-free bread I had requested. The room was rather clean. The personnel was friendly and helpful. The toilet stopped flushing, we informed the reception about this and were given a neihboring room with a working toilet immediately. The location is 5 minutes walking from the airport which was quite useful for us (we rented a car at the airport the next day). Price/quality ratio is well balanced.

It turns out I was charged €15 in taxes. According to the receptionist, this tax is just over €7 per person per day. I understand this isn't the tourist tax, as you stated that it was €5.50 payable at the hotel. It's not about the money, it's about the word.

Really lovely old hotel in a quiet spot just outside La Rochelle’s old town. Everything’s within walking distance, which made it very convenient. Our room on the second floor was big, clean, and comfortable, with a street view. The garden out back is a great place to relax. We didn’t use the spa or restaurant, but the reception staff were helpful throughout our stay.

We had a very pleasant stay here for 4 days. The staff are very welcoming and professional and helpful with the language barrier. Lovely garden and location excellent. Even though we had to pay for parking it was very reasonable. Highly recommend
