Prime Hotel in Batumi

One of the best for money.
Good location.

My experience at Prime Hotel was mostly pleasant. To start with, the rooms are clean enough. You get a smart TV (which is pretty cool), a mini-fridge, an AC and an electric kettle. The beds were pretty clean, however the linen is prone to coming out of the bed after a night's sleep. The blanket offered was also more like a thin bed sheet, and, upon request of a proper blanket, we received nothing but another thin bed sheet. The location of electricity outlets was also not the best, since none are close to the bed and all are close to the other side of the room, where the TV is installed. Within the room, you do get a cabinet to store your clothing and items, and, obviously, a bathroom. The bathroom is pretty clean and offers the amenities needed, however do note that there is no bidet installed. Room service is provided every 2 days or upon request, if the cleaning staff is present. Must say though, the cleaning staff probably have little experience in cleaning the rooms and hotel. While the rooms were marginally clean, the mop used smelled rancid and damp, with no cleaning agent used in the mop.
As for the breakfast, it must be said that it is pretty basic. Within the breakfast, you do get cucumber, tomatoes, olives, slices of cheese, boiled eggs, and, if you're on a lucky day, local jam, yogurt and English cake. Do note that the things included in the breakfast were due to my request of only Halal food being included; you might have a greater collection of items to eat if said request was not mentioned. I'm glad to mention, however, that the staff were friendly with the matter, and gladly obeyed the request of having only Halal food provided.
The amenities within the hotel are pretty good. You have free parking, in case you have a rental car. There is a Spar mini-market located right within the hotel. Free Wi-Fi is provided, but you shall not expect blazing fast speeds. The speed of the internet depends on the amount of guests and the timing of the day. There is no swimming pool, spa or massaging service.
The location of the hotel is great. While you do not have a coastal view - which is partially reserved for more premium properties, the hotel is located at the city's center. Almost all tourist attractions are close to the hotel. A rental car would be of great help. The road leading to the hotel is proper, with no potholes in it.
The hotel's staff were so-and-so. The representative named George, which I think was the hotel's manager, was extremely friendly, polite and attentive. Another staff member, Mikhail, wasn't the most friendly or welcoming of staff. There were other staff members that we didn't really interact with, however they seemed pretty friendly.
The rooms' pricing was excellent. I recommend that you DO NOT book through Booking/Agora/etc unless you think that you've got a great deal there. It is more recommended that you DO negotiate the price with the hotel staff directly upon your arrival.
Overall, my experience at Prime Hotel was pretty pleasant. There is room for improvement at the property; yet, I'm sure it will do the job of being a comfy, good stay.
