Had single room, as did my daughter, no balcony, but room good, comfy pillows and bed, housekeeping every day, shower pressure great, room opposite bell tower, no problem with bells chiming, didn't notice it. What a nice surprise we had arriving in this hotel! Clean , very professional staff , great service, rooms are spacious and comfortable! The hotel is located about 4.5 km from Freiburg, but is very easy to reach. There's a bus stop right outside. The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. Amazing Stay at Hotel Fortuna We had an Amazing weeklong stay at Hotel Fortuna. Room was very comfortable, Breakfast was plentiful and delicious; and the Staff was helpful and very supportive. The Desk Host Receptionist was Wonderful ~O'orhah?! She helped us with Everything, logistics, taxis, food delivery etc... We Loved It, and will be back for our next family trip in February 2026.

The room was spacious, considering its height. However, the bathroom was small and the dry and wet areas were poorly separated, so shower water would leak onto the toilet floor. The breakfast menu was extensive. Overall, the room didn't match the amenities.

Spent a night there, nothing was bad per se but it was also a pretty forgettable experience. Room was quite outdated (but clean) and dark because of the trees blocking the light. We were looking for a cozy, home-like hotel, and we found it right by the lake with its breathtaking view. A large fireplace, a wood fire, Christmas decorations, professional, discreet, and attentive staff, not to mention the hearty breakfast buffet. We'll definitely go back without hesitation.

The room was spacious and perfect for a solo traveler. The staff were always attentive, and I had no problems with parking access. The breakfast was really delicious, and I loved the system where you get a bar coupon if you skip room cleaning during consecutive stays!

You can walk to the ******, which is situated literally next to the hotel. If you're traveling by train, then it's better to take a taxi from Baden-Baden bahnhof to the hotel vice versa. Highly recommended.

A traditional hotel next to *** It's beautifully renovated and very comfortable. The breakfast is also satisfying. Location It's a great location, close to the promenade and the town, making it a great place to stroll around. I highly recommend strolling around town and visiting the hot springs. The photo shows this hotel when it first opened. It was on display inside the hotel.
