Best Hotels in Munchen

We had a wonderful stay at Obermeier, and managed to use public transport into Munich effficiently. The breakfast was amazing, and we also made good use of the lovely reception and bar areas

But they had Obazda and you could order Weisswurst for extra fee, which I recommend, even though I did not order mine. This was the best price/performance ratio for me for Oktoberfest

I liked how everything was clean and quite new. Breakfast was quite good, although I didn't find the courage to try leberkäse

Absolutely wonderful! We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were as advertised, everything was exceptionally clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel bar was nice and had great options

Also, I was there for two days, but did clean my room on next day. Rooms could do with AC and/or minifridge. Lack of AC was no problem in October. I could have had couple of beers in fridge

Or two bus stops, and the stops are literally at the station or in front of the hotel. Service was ok, but I did not receive my complimentary drink. I didn't complain and demand it

This was a very nice property, the rooms were clean and the service, from the moment we arrived was excellent. The breakfast was fantastic but you will pay 45 euros if you don’t get the room package.

Great hotel with great people working there. They were really helpful and they made sure our stay is a good experience. We also went to the Sunday brunch which was amazing

A beautiful hotel close to the Isar River and an easy walk to the Altstadt. The River has a very nice running and biking trail next to it which is great for exercising no matter the season.

A really nice, high quality base for a few days in Munich. The (lovely) walk to the centre is about 30 minutes, though public transport is also readily accessible

Great hotel. Especially for business stay. Good breakfast with a lot of choices and vegan milk(oat and almond). No service for diner. But again for business it is for sure good.

Good, modern hotel. Rooms are clean and neat. Nothing too fancy, but satisfactory for a couple of nights stay. Close to train station as well.

They provided complimentary 2 bottles of water, their coffee in the cafe is really good, but not free! They provide breakfast at an extra charge, didn’t try it

Easy self check-in. The hotel is only a few min walk from Freiham train station. Very convenient. Breakfast is continental and has a variety of deli meat.

The WiFi was very poor and there is no USB port for charging a mobile device in the room- bring your own. The online check-in is messy and not well-designed

First of all, the hotel staff were very rude, only a Palestinian lady was very nice when we first arrived, WiFi was Terrible, when ever I got inside my room the signal dropped, and when I asked to change my room, because I was on a business trip and needed to work, the response was we can’t do that while the boss is not here, you can work downstairs in the cafe! The rooms were big enough and clean...

The hotel is suitable for longer stay (more than 1-2 nights). Room layout is good and spacious

Best bed, not too hard not to soft, best bed to sleep on, once you sleep,you wouldn’t want to get out of the bed. The toilet is normal size but the shower force and running hot water is perfect

Location was near the central station and when get off the station only 5 mins walk to the hotel.

The floor is not heated and the room is very cold, you can on the heater but since the window is not really that strong to protect from cold air to breeze inside, I didn’t find anything worked for me except my hot water pack

The Bad: It’s far away from Hauptbanhof. You can’t walk it in the Munchen freezing cold weather. There are restaurants nearby like a Subway, a grocery store nearby but the real action is the main station which is far

The tram stop is right outside the hotel so easy to get to Main station Hauptbanhof just the wait maybe 6-8 mins in the harsh winter months of Munchen it can be a killer to wait even 1 minute at the tram stop

Wi-fi worked perfectly, the breakfast is good with fair variety of food, tasty coffee and even waffles made by your self. Overall excellent value for money

Very good value for money! I would like to stay here again next time when I visit Munich again. Only problem is the location is a bit far away from the city center, yet not possible to find a free parking on street.

it was a good walkkng distance to the main station while still hsving a tram nearby if you dont want to walk. peaceful area with food options to eat nearby. room is clean and comfortable. had a good stay.

My stay for business trip was a little eventful. But the staffs Emre, Raffaela are really helpful and with high quality of service. Appreciate. This is the best hotel I stayed in Munich.

We had an excellent stay at Flemings Hotel Munich. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to both the main train and bus stations, making travel super easy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful

We selected this hotel as it had good reviews online, and fitted with our plans. It also was reasonably priced and was good value

Somewhat noisy as it is near the main station which is still under construction, but overall is good for the price given.

Our room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. We especially loved the unique, stylish room design; it felt very cosy and romantic, perfect for a couples' trip

On our final day we had to get up early to get to the airport and again the helpful staff allowed us into breakfast early so we could eat before departing

At this price point, this is a great deal. Room was quiet. Bathroom is the typical Ibis space port. What really surprised me though was the excellent and rich breakfast buffet.

Great location. If you have any concerns, let the staff know and they will do their best to help. It was the case for us!

We did not take breakfast -> 17euros/ person I wish for a small fridge 🤞 Very well located -> there is a parking but the tram and subway are very close and easy to use with good price for 2-3 days of use in a row

The beds were nice and firm, the shower hot and the breakfast was incredibly good. Negatives were no fridge and safe in room, no kettle or tea/coffee or bottled water in room and no tissues

The room was ok, but nothing special about it. It felt outdated and especially the bathroom felt cheap. We were hit by a thunderstorm and there was no heater in the room to try and dry our clothes on

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is located in a green and quiet area. There are groceries and cafes all around. Different kinds of city transport are also easy available

The hotel is really cozy and easy to find. I just stayed one night in München for a event close to the hotel so the location was perfect for me. The room is clean and spacious, same thing for the bathroom

There were 12 of us traveling: two adults as chaperones and 10 teenagers aged 14 to 16. We received a very warm and friendly welcome from the staff. The rooms are spotlessly clean

Hotel was decent. The rooms were a good size. The mattresses were very hard to the point that they were quite uncomfortable and difficult to get a good sleep.

Environment: The subway station is not far away, and it's very convenient to take one subway stop to the high-speed rail station. There's a bakery next to the hotel, and German bread is delicious, exceeding expectations

The kitchen came with all the cookware and utensils you could possibly need — I didn’t actually use them, but everything was neatly arranged and spotlessly clean

Our suitcase broke, and despite communicating through a translator, they enthusiastically went out of their way twice to get us tools. The entire service was fantastic and definitely worth it

Best in Class 5* hotel in Münich, with the best sushi restaurant ever. I only tried the restaurant, which for 2 with a bottle of wine came at more than 300€

There's a bakery downstairs that opened in 1703—the prezels with butter are absolutely delicious! The Barn café on the corner is great and very popular in Berlin

Rooms were nice size and very quiet. Hotel has a very tiny exercise room with good equipment but no room. On check in they said we had 2 rooms each for 1 person

The location is excellent and the place is clean. It's located in a building, so it might be hard to find at first. The hotel is small, with few staff, and service can be slow at times

Disadvantages: As can be seen from the picture, the bathroom is only separated by a shower curtain, with a large space underneath, and half of the bathroom will be splashed with water when taking a shower; the buffet breakfast is terrible

We stayed for five nights in May 2025, and after studying what felt like every hotel in the city, Cocoon Sendlinger Tor kept standing out. Being able to book a balcony room was a huge bonus — and I loved it

Great, yet simply furnished hotel in a good location. In my room, the cold water at the sink wasn't working, but otherwise everything was perfect and clean. Breakfast was also top-notch, and the staff extremely friendly.

Theres an Italian restaurant, 12 mins away Mozzamo Gmbh which serves good italian food. U Bahn is just few mins away and Marienplatz is 5 stations away, convenient. Breakfast was fresh, limited variety but tastes good

Spent a weekend in Munich, one day visiting Neuschwanstein Castle and another day Salzburg. Both trips departed from the main train station, and on the third day, I headed to the airport, also from the station

It was not bad, but the room was small overall because it was in a historic building in a central area. The hotel is conveniently located, and the breakfast was elegant, but it was all cold

I had high expectations based on the high ratings. When I checked in, I felt the receptionist, a white man at the front desk, was polite but a bit cold

The room I was assigned faced the Handshake Building across the street. I politely requested a change and was given a top-floor room

Nicely located on the Airport S Bahn, U Bahn, and perfect for a day trip away to a city further north. Basic amenities but good value.

Everything with the hotel was fine. The ladies at the reception desk were kind and helpful. The location of the hotel was just above S-Bahn/U-Bahn station. There was a supermarket close to the hotel

There's a REWE supermarket right across the street, making it easy for an overnight stay before heading to the airport, with the S1 line less than 100 meters away

Only downside that I can mention is the internet connection. The wi-fi connection was impossible at the room, however, it was working in the hallway
