Munchen, Dachauer Str. 13, Maxvorstadt (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The wifi in this room was not good, could only get signals near the toilet. We had a second room on the other side of the corridor, and the wifi worked well. As the room is near the tram, it was not quiet at night
nice location, good service, clean facilities  and spacious rooms
Thanks to the nice young lady helping with the cleaning! - The bed was excellent. One of the best we experienced. - The staff at the registration desk was excellent
very good and clean facilities. the staff are nice and friendly. the area is tidy and feeling safe walking around. Tried breakfast for 2 days and they offer different things on the 2 days and I greatly appreciate that!
You could consider the same hotel on the other street for a quieter room (which we also stayed before). However, service was good and we appreciated the amenities in the room
Good service and delicious breakfast I will visit again soon.

This was necessary for me, as I sometimes brought back leftover food from restaurants in the city and wanted to buy some vegan cold cuts to store, since the hotel buffet did not offer vegan options
Hotel slippers were also not provided. Finally, if you wanted water from the hotel, the only option was a vending machine offering only sparkling water in 500 ml bottles for €3, payable with coins only
The room was very clean, beautiful, and spacious, with a cozy atmosphere. The hotel itself looks very nice. However, despite all of this, I was quite dissatisfied with some practical issues
The lighting at both the bathroom mirror and in the room was very poor, making it difficult to do my makeup, I often had to use my phone’s flashlight because the ceiling light was too dim
We went for Christmas markets in Germany. The hotel is a bit far from the city and the nearest station is about 15 mins walk.
For me, this was a daily frustration. I was also bothered by the lack of a fridge in the room

You need to ring for the staff to open the main hotel entrance (only for the first time, your room key opens the door as well). Staff spoke very good english and explained everything i needed to know about my stay
A great hotel, good location, around 30 minutes from Odeonsplatz, accessible via U5 which is 4 minutes walking distance from the hotel
The hotel is in an excellent location, with a metro station right next to it. From there, the U5 line takes you directly to the city center
Near the hotel is also located a mall and below the hotel, 3 supermarkets, you have everything you might need literally next to you. Neighborhood felt safe even at 5-6am. Also didn't have problems with soundproofing
In theory you can charge 3 devices from the same socket at the same time. There were three of those in the room, one on each side of the bed, and one near the folding table next to the tv
Tv unfortunately wasn't smart (no big deal). The biggest drawback is the stupid design of the shower with no door or curtain. Definitely would stay there again if value is the same

Leonardo Hotel München City Center, Munchen1 / 30

Munchen, Senefelderstraße 4, Ludwigsvorstadt-Isarvorstadt (in the centre) 🧭 Map
You’re within easy walking distance of the historic city centre and surrounded by plenty of public‑transport links and a good selection of nearby restaurants. Room: The room is compact but surprisingly comfortable
Facilities: Unfortunately, the lift was out of service for the entire stay, which made accessing the fourth‑floor room a hassle, especially with luggage. Aside from that, the hotel’s basic amenities were functional
Overall rating: 3 / 5 – solid location and courteous staff offset the small room, shower leak, and non‑working elevator. Ideal for travelers who prioritize proximity to Munich’s sights and don’t mind a few quirks
Breakfast: The morning buffet is adequate but limited in variety. It won’t wow you, but it gets the job done. Service: The front‑desk staff stand out. The receptionist was friendly and helpful
The bathroom is clean, though the shower leaked past the glass door, letting water onto the floor—a minor inconvenience that could be fixed (Room No
Location: Nestled just steps from Munich Central Station, the Leonardo Hotel offers an unbeatable base for exploring the city

Munchen, Helene-Mayer-Ring 12 (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Apart from the good location, it is very convenient for watching concerts. The room is average, the bedding is average, and the breakfast is okay. Don't compare it. Just eat enough.
Breakfast was good, but the kettle in the room was really dirty. When checking out, the staff kept hinting that I should pay in cash, which made me try several different cards.
The room was averagely clean; the mattress felt slightly unwashed, and the air conditioning wasn't very effective. The breakfast was good, with a wide variety
I prefer sleeping in a cool temperature, but unfortunately the air conditioning cooling system couldn’t be used, likely due to local regulations. So, we slept without AC for two nights, but it was still fine
The bathroom looks a bit old, and the toilet flush needs maintenance as the flushing power is weak. The cleaners did a great job cleaning the room and friendly, and the receptionists were very helpful
If you don’t get breakfast at the hotel, there are plenty of cafés nearby, as well as a large convenience store right next door. I would recommend this hotel!

even if it was clearly finishing. Breakfast is not bad but kind of expensive is bought separately. The area has good bars and restaurants
Very good, location near the train station, food delicious, room clean, I would recommend
Cozy hotel. Good breakfast. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Everything you needed was in the room. The metro is relatively close. The area is quiet.
A boutique hotel that is located not to far from the main stations and to subway. Rooms and common areas are good. Sometimes the service has been a bit "stingy" by not refilling soap, shampoo, etc
Although it's a bit out of the city center, it's a quiet, value-for-money hotel that I'd love to stay at again. While there's no bike storage, I was able to store my bike under the eaves in the parking lot
There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby To get by car it is about ten minutes walk The waiter is very friendly There is a fitness room There is air conditioning Hair dryers and irons are all available good

We wanted a quiet room and good mattresses, and we got both. Excellent location, just a short walk from Marienplatz. Breakfast plentiful and varied
Excellent hotel! Friendly management! The breakfast was delicious and varied, and the coffee was made to order. We received a free room upgrade upon check-in, which was a nice touch.
Very good location with very helpful and cheerful staff. The carpark facility is also useful and priced reasonably.
Just recently had a 4 night stay at this hotel and I have nothing but praise, the location is excellent, close enough that you're in walking distance from all the focal points of the city but tucked away enough that you don't get all the noise from the busy areas
The breakfast buffet is decent (much better than US based 4 stars breakfasts). Good variety of food, bread, muesli, cold cuts etc
Breakfast was lovely with a wide selection of food to choose from and the staff were friendly and efficient and helpful always with a smile. We would definitely stay here again if we have a return trip to Munich

The beds were comfortable and really gave us a good rest before we explored Munich and Salzburg! I will return to Munich and be staying here again! I give this hotel my highest recommendation for places to stay in Europe
Location is good. Close to central Train station , tram, subway.  We didn’t try breakfast as there are many good breakfast restaurants in Munich. We didn’t have the room cleaning and we got a $10 coupon for drink.
Great hotel in an excellent central location near Munich Central Station. Clean, comfortable rooms, very quiet at night, and a really comfortable bed. Staff were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the stay
The amenity says considerably good, but sometimes the toilet flushing is not so strong. If you do not need a cleaning service, you can get 10-euro and exchange it for the drinks or the snacks at the mini bar
Very good locations just 10 minutes’ walk around the main train station. The service is also very good. The staff at the check desk is very friendly and warm. Outside the window are straight views
The location and environment are excellent, highly recommended.

The hotel is conveniently located about a 5-7 minute walk from the U-Bahn. If you walk a little further, there's also a tram stop. It's within walking distance of all the attractions in the Old Town
The garage is tricky to find yet the staff was very helpful! Caution the garage is only ok for vehicles up to 2t!!!! (but even there the staff was helpful and the house not being full due to COVID helped
Great location within walking distance to shopping areas. However, the room is quite small, especially the bathroom
Parking is available but must be booked and paid for in advance due to limited slots, and it may be challenging for beginner drivers
The cleaning staff were friendly and very accommodating for any needs. Location is good, close to the train and old town
The front desk staff speak English, so communication was no problem at all

The rooms are spacious, stylish, and very comfortable — ideal for unwinding after a day in Munich. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options that catered to all tastes
The WiFi connection is free and speed is good
This is a truly beautiful hotel where quality and service are clearly the top priorities. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the elegant design, attention to detail, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel
All areas reflected a high standard of cleanliness and elegance. The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and service-minded
The service was outstanding throughout our stay: the staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making us feel genuinely welcome
Staff are lovely and helpful with pre-printed recommendations for local restaurants. We got lots of help on how to use public transport and we bought tickets from reception. Would definitely stay here again

The hotel is at good location - near S-bahn, supermarket, and some coffee shops. May feel the vicinity quiet at first but feel safe when you walk via the cultural centre nearby
Restaurant was pretty good, breakfast was good and had plenty of options. The front desk staff was great
Arriving at the room it was still not clean and at the time it was delivered to us it had a strong cigarette smell, a very simple room, it was not the best experience
Barely a 10 walk from the subway, barely a 15 minute walk to Altstadt… the hotel sits on an arm of a circle that you can walk an entire 360 degrees and back to the hotel with endless things to admire, appreciate, dine, and enjoy and realize you may not even need transportation if you take your time to stroll through this historic beautiful part of the city
As an added tip, if you want something warm to eat like an omelet, you can order that from the server and the cook will whip one up for you! Would it have been more convenient to stay by Marienplatz? Yes! BUT, we enjoyed being able to come back to a quiet area and away from the hustle and bustle of the Christmas markets
We stayed at JAMS from December 5-10. From checkin to checkout, the experience was fantastic! Knowledgeable front desk staff helped us navigate Munich in the most efficient way to optimize our time

Good sized rooms, fancy bathroom, comfortable big bed. Great breakfast with vegan options and coffeeshop quality coffee. Staff is cool and friendly. Walking distance to city center, and the main train station.
Good service and breakfast. It is clean and near the train station.
Very satisfied, the place near the train station, the train station, the room is clean, the service staff are good, like coming.
The rooms are very clean and quite. Even in they are not very lange you don't miss anything as they are efficiently furnished. Convenient position near main railway station. Excellent price quality ratio
Very good business hotel close to the rail station.
Lovely large clean room, good breakfast, excellent location and polite, very helpful staff. What more do you need from a city hotel? One negative. Typical German hotel in that TV does not cater for English speakers

The hotel was good, and the breakfast was delicious. Room cleaning isn't done every day; the cleaning staff comes every three days. Fresh towels are available at reception. Best regards and thank you for the lovely stay
Rooms are compact but functional, with good beds, clean bathrooms, and large windows, many with balconies overlooking the city. The lobby bar and breakfast area have a laid-back, urban feel, and the staff are welcoming
There's nothing to complain about - the location is ideal (near the subway), I had a spacious room with a comfortable bed :-) Cleanliness and service are also top-notch.
The hotel door is the subway station exit, and private parking, driving or taking the subway in and out is very convenient, the room has a small kitchen and small terrace, before 8 pm across the street several large supermarkets, small shops and restaurants, but after 8 pm it is pitch black
Great accommodation and location for the price. Clean, comfortable rooms if not a little basic. Shout-out to Georgie for helping us locate an emergency overnight pharmacy - he went above and beyond
We stayed at the hotel the evening before New Year's. The room was nice and clean, the staff was very friendly, and the hotel was close to the center. I recommend it to everyone.

Get to this hotel if you want to be in a quiet nice residential suburb. Service is good and the restaurant is reputed to be excellent. Very luxurious feel overall but especially the breakfast
Charming hotel in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the English Garden and public transportation. The family room was very nice with the wardrobe providing some privacy from the kids bed
(Vast majority of hotels in Munich that you will find on the usual sites will be near the train station which is not a bad area now, but used to be run down
Stopped here for a nice business lunch. They have a lovely beer garden with massive trees. Daily selection of lunch menus as well as choosing from a la carte. I had the Backhendl which was very nice
It's simply wonderful! Everyone is warmly welcoming, hardworking, attentive, considerate, and knowledgeable! The food is wonderful; everything is in very good condition, furnished with dignity and taste, and very clean! It's simply a perfect, pleasant, and quiet place near the English Garden; I can highly recommend it! Thank you all so much!
Rooms are a bit dated but for us that added to the charm. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very friendly and helpful!

Hotel is 5-10 min walking distance from the main station. Clean and large rooms. However the precise location is not the best for female solo traveller as there are suspicious walk aeounds in the night around the hotel.
Although we didn’t take advantage if the morning breakfast in the restaurant; it did look good. The hotel offered gratis treats of apples, flavored water and pastries which were delicious And appreciated
Perfect place. Only one thing that needs to be fixed and that was the pillows in the room. Good breakfest and perfect spot for a hotel.
Property was in a good location, staff very helpful what would have been nice is putting a kettle so you could have a tea or coffee in your room also would have been nice to have a drink in the bar sometime but it hasn't been open for years
My room was small, but perfect for one person (maybe two). Nice and clean with all the amenities needed. Budget breakfast was delicious with many options. Within walking distance to many attractions
Picked the Alpen Hotel as it was near to the Main station, as I was using an Inter-Rail pass for day trips on the train, the Hotel was better than I though, so served me perfectly

Excellent stay. Very central to everything. Quick walk to train. Lovely rooms with free mini bar. Breakfast was fabulous. Very kindly let us have room early after long 28 hr trip. Highly recommend
Excellent location and breakfast. Spacious room space and comfortable bed eventhough the single bed is a little bit smaller.
The room also comes equipped with an electric kettle, refrigerator, and air conditioning. Although it's close to the downtown area, there was no noise and it was quiet. I'd like to stay here again next time
As I stayed during the easter holidays, the hotel even gave easter chocolates!

Quiet area close to metro station. Rooms are small but very clean. Good price. Recomanded for young people.
If you're heading to cultural venues like Gasteig HP8, you can take bus lines X30 or 54, which will get you there in about 15 minutes from the hotel. And of course, the hotel staff were wonderful as well
Lovely hotel, and this is my third booking. Everything is just perfect for me. Very friendly and helpful staff, small but well-equipped, clean rooms
Very friendly and helpful staff. The 24/7 reception is very convenient. Storing luggage is also easily possible before or after check-in/out.

We had a great stay here ! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable—perfect for traveling. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even better
They offer free cappuccinos and we brought some lovely baked goods around Theresienstrasse every night for following breakfast, skipping the pricey eat-in option. The room is quiet and clean with an excellent shower
Definitely my favourite place to stay in Munich. Still not far from haubtbahnhof, but nice and quiet. WONDERFUL staff amd super comfortable

The room is cozy and the bedding is very comfortable. There’s a coffee machine with hot water at the lobby for all guests, not in the room. The breakfast place is intimate but they offer a wide choice of food and drinks
Breakfast was great. Good proximity to the railway station was a big plus walking at night was a bit scary.
Superb location, approx 15 minutes walk to Octoberfest and Old Town. Room is clean and water pressure is good. However, the sound insulation is really bad. Not recommend for light sleeper. Breakfast offer vegan option.

But they did their best to try to assist us
Hotel abuts a park. Very friendly staff. Nice rooms. Never ate breakfast there as 29 euro seemed high and less expensive restaurants were 10 minute walk. I would stay there again.
The drapes didn't close completely and there was an exterior light shining into the room. Pillows were super soft and provided little neck support. The evening bartender was rude and had little customer service
Our rate included breakfast which was quite good, including fresh squeezed orange juice and an assortment of hot and cold items, breads, pastries, jams. The room was spacious and bathroom was modern
The hotel was clean, quiet, and nice, however, it really lacked some basic necessities such as at least one bottle of water per person per day, clean disposable slippers, and a kettle with cups to make tea or coffee to relax after a long day
