Best in Class 5* hotel in Münich, with the best sushi restaurant ever. I only tried the restaurant, which for 2 with a bottle of wine came at more than 300€

There's a bakery downstairs that opened in 1703—the prezels with butter are absolutely delicious! The Barn café on the corner is great and very popular in Berlin

We stayed for five nights in May 2025, and after studying what felt like every hotel in the city, Cocoon Sendlinger Tor kept standing out. Being able to book a balcony room was a huge bonus — and I loved it

The interior design throughout the hotel is fun, thoughtful, and memorable. Yes, the rooms are small, but they’re so cleverly designed that the flow and function make total sense

Convenient to subway to easily take you anywhere in town. A special shout out to Andreas, who was very helpful providing information/easy directions regarding restaurants within walking distance

Similar to other ibis properties, they are good value. One downside is the lack of towels... you will have to ask for more towels.

Munich for Oktoberfest The girl on reception from Georgia wbo checked us all in was very friendly and helpful all throughout our stay. All the other staff were also very nice

Perfect for what i needed, very close to the underground do easy enough to get onto the city. Breakfast was great, bed was comfortable and shower was hot.

He also would contact the locations to make sure they would accommodate our large group of 8 and have table waiting when we arrived!

Lufthansa bus dropped us off 5 minute walk to hotel. Close to subway for easy access to oktoberfest

Facilities: The hotel is quite old, and the facilities are somewhat dated. However, it has all the essentials, and the room size is excellent for its size compared to other European hotels

Nice view facing the train station :) staff were all welcoming and helpful! I stayed close to Xmas and they gave me a bar of chocolate as gift! So sweet, I’m grateful! Location is great, 1 min walk from Hauptbahnhof station and 5-15 min walk from all old town spots! Great value

Theres an Italian restaurant, 12 mins away Mozzamo Gmbh which serves good italian food. U Bahn is just few mins away and Marienplatz is 5 stations away, convenient. Breakfast was fresh, limited variety but tastes good

Nicely located on the Airport S Bahn, U Bahn, and perfect for a day trip away to a city further north. Basic amenities but good value.

Everything with the hotel was fine. The ladies at the reception desk were kind and helpful. The location of the hotel was just above S-Bahn/U-Bahn station. There was a supermarket close to the hotel

There's a REWE supermarket right across the street, making it easy for an overnight stay before heading to the airport, with the S1 line less than 100 meters away

Only downside that I can mention is the internet connection. The wi-fi connection was impossible at the room, however, it was working in the hallway

The wifi in this room was not good, could only get signals near the toilet. We had a second room on the other side of the corridor, and the wifi worked well. As the room is near the tram, it was not quiet at night

Hotel slippers were also not provided. Finally, if you wanted water from the hotel, the only option was a vending machine offering only sparkling water in 500 ml bottles for €3, payable with coins only

Apart from the good location, it is very convenient for watching concerts. The room is average, the bedding is average, and the breakfast is okay. Don't compare it. Just eat enough.

Just recently had a 4 night stay at this hotel and I have nothing but praise, the location is excellent, close enough that you're in walking distance from all the focal points of the city but tucked away enough that you don't get all the noise from the busy areas

The breakfast buffet is decent (much better than US based 4 stars breakfasts). Good variety of food, bread, muesli, cold cuts etc
