Where to stay in Dusseldorf

Had a great stay at Hotel Aleksandra. The room was just right for me as a solo traveller and the price was very reasonable for this area. Breakfast was included which was very basic but was at least something to start the morning off with. You can get free coffee or tea from the front desk all day which is an added bonus! I would highly recommend this hotel if you're in Düsseldorf.

The room was clean, bed comfortable, personal very nice and helpful, breakfast small but absolutely ok. I by mistake almost ran into their kitchen and didn't get yelled at. That was nice :)

Great value for money booked a single room and due to availability I got a double bed without even asking. Comfortable room, breakfast is a bit basic but sufficient. Good place to come back to whenever I have things to do in Düsseldorf

It's okay. For a budget hotel you'll get a nice but small room and 1 towel (rest you need to pick up from the lobby). There's no breakfast (at least I didn't see it). It's quite close to the city center but overall there must be better places to stay in the same budget or slightly more.

Stayed in beautifully quiet and cosy Bungalow at the back of the hotel. Amazing rain shower as well as a hand held shower and a bath also with a shower attachment. Excellent treatment in several languages. Good breakfasts, very clean and very close to the center walking or by public transport and accessible price to all. Recommended.

Rooms are bit cozy but comfortable. Little disturbance because of tram passage. Try to get on higher floor. Reception persons don't know English except the manager. No restaurant or bar.

Because of work reasons in here for 5-6 hours. So I'm on the hotel's feel is based only on me in the room to be very short few hours. I think the hotel service is very General-you need to hit 2-3 a call to find can help you of people, then you also need to call and remind several times. The room was very small but in Europe is more common and there is nothing from which you can see the office buildings...

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, unfortunately the only place in the hotel with air conditioning is the bar.

The room was clean. Towels and other amenities were changed, making for a very pleasant stay. It's also only about a 10-minute walk from the central station.

Everything you may need for an accommodation

I couldn't leave my luggage before check-in. The hallway was always dark and scary. The shower room had poor drainage and was difficult to use, but it was clean. Breakfast was substantial.

Nice for a short stay, nearby the subway, has quick restaurants around that are opened at night , it’s nearby a mini plaza so I’d say efficient

Super convenient hotel, excellent people. Great breakfast restaurants nearby 10 to 15 minutes to gardens. 10-15min walk to the convention center if you book this hotel. I recommend booking directly if you eat here then the German restaurant is great. The foods amazing grocery store 5 minute walk couldn't recommend a better hotel. If you have trouble with wifi, tell management they reset it.

I was staying here 1 night due to early flight. Need to say that I am very happy with the service and hospitality. Room was small (but just enough), bed very comfortable, bathroom bright and clean. Plus there is a parking. This hotel was exactly what I was expecting.

I had a good stay at Cascade in Düsseldorf. The room could use a bit of maintenance, as the locks and main door didn’t function properly, and the heating wasn’t very efficient. Despite these issues, the stay was overall pleasant. I’d rate it 4/5.

Hotel is located off the busiest Immermannstrasse and quiet area close to Rhein and Best Japanese restaurant Hyuga. Very kind staff and great breakfast! Definitely reccomend.

Very helpful and kind personnel! The room was warm and nice. 24h reception that was actually present at the desk (unlike others of the area) . It is very close to the station and there are restaurants nearby. For Greeks it should be great because the entire area is full of Greek stores. Thank you for everything! Poor selection of pillows,you felt like you was sleeping without any pillows at all. Other than that it was quite good vfm because everything was automatically done, also the little kitchen was well suited.it was a good experience overall

The hotel is very good value for money and despite the mixed reviews, our stay has been good for the most part. The hotel is very well located, a straight road walk to the Königsallee and the Aldstadt. It is also very accessible with the uBahn but this isn't a necessity. 2 minute walk from an aldi or lidl also so you wont go hungry! Staff are all very hospitable people. The place is average overall. I stayed there for 3 weeks and I had room on the 5th floor and the lift was not working for 15 days. It’s not great when you come from work tired you have to walk up 5 floors. But the good thing was room was getting cleaned regularly though they skipped a day or two. This is really nice hotel! I have stayed there several times. Th staff in the lobby is very friendly, the rooms are clean and big, there is sauna and fitness room, the location is near a nice lake. I can fully recommend it.

My experience was that the soundproofing in the hotel is just okay; you can pretty clearly hear people talking or watching shows in the next room. The hotels location is wonderfull. You are in the heart of city. There is not much opportunity for hotel but you are in the old city centre. You are close to everywhere.

very noisy very central, however did not realise, hotel has extra rooms across the street, and also down the street a bit. We were put into one of these rooms. No lift in the overspill part of the hotel, with very dangerous spiral stairs, especially when carrying suitcases, and also above an extremely loud bar/nightclub, which went on until at least 1.30am in the morning. The hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the central train station on a quiet street. The breakfast was delicious and the room was spacious. An iron and ironing board were provided upon request. Everything was perfect.

The hotel is fine, breakfast was good, my issue was that I was unwell so had to change my travel plans. I requested permission to cancel my booking, it was not granted. I understand with cheap flights etc that you can't cancel a booking but my hotel room booking was not cheap, but was at regular price. A great hotel with absolutely convincing personal service. The room design is pleasant and clear. There are contemporary art and catalogues by artists with a connection to Düsseldorf in the rooms. This is a small but nice hotel just off the main shopping street, which incidently runs parallel to the river. At the other end (a 15 to 20 in walk) of the street is the little street that runs down to the famous and beautiful bridge. The hotel has its own car park (not free) just around the corner. An interesting hotel near the old town. Pros- location, bathroom was modern and well equipped, & secure underground parking nearby. Cons- air conditioning a bit weak, room somewhat shabby with some odd furnishings- reminiscent of Joey Tribbiani's apartment's.

The rooms are small and the breakfast area is in the middle of the corridor, but the hotel is clean, the personnel are friendly and overall it is a good place to stay, as long as you don't expect the comfort of a 4*hotel. I would definitely go back.

If this room cost over $150usd a night I can't recommend it. Probably the worst pillows I have encountered in 26 years of travel. I paid $575usd a night. So, they have no problem price gouging you.

My reservation was for one night. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There were many restaurants around, and it was only a 2-minute walk to the bus station. The only downside was that there was no elevator, but they agreed to keep the luggage at the reception, so I only took the needed items.

Low cost hotel in walking distance to Central Station. Its a B&B and there are plenty of restaurants and take aways in the neighbourhood. Extremeley clean and the friendly service is exceptional. You walk around 10 minutes to the station.

We had a room at first floor, near Breakfast room. The room was nice, very high ceilings and you see, that it’s really old house, but it’s interesting. Location to center could be little bit better.

The room was fine for what you pay for it. Location is good but we had to spend 28 euro's a day for parking.

The room was a little small but ok, the staff friendly. The biggest Problem was to find a Parking space for a VAN. The car parks in the area are only designed to 1.80.

What wonderful clean hotel. We arrived on touring bicycles, wet from the rain. We managed one of two rooms remaining. The ladies at reception were very friendly, both spoke English. We had a safe place to park our bikes for the night, no need for locks.
