Where to stay in Germany

The hotel is located close to the Darmstadt central train station with easy access to Frankfurt. But it’s not so close that it’s noisy. The hotel breakfast had plenty of options and was really tasty. The hotel and the rooms are very clean. The balcony was a nice surprise.

The hotel was clean and had good facilities, but on the day of our arrival, the front desk strictly required check-in by 3:00 PM, while other tour groups arriving after us were allowed to check in before 3:00 PM. This was a double standard.

Excellent hotel, our group arrived late due to traffic but nothing was an issue. Food was excellent both nights and mornings of our stay. Highly recommended

Already been here for a couple of times and I don't think you can get better hotel for this price range. Rooms clean, great breakfast, close to the main train station as well as the city center. My recommendation!

Well maintained hotel in a fairly convenient location. But the service is clumsy. My schedule was changed and I had to leave before breakfast (for which I paid); but when I asked from the receptionist to get coffee from the machine, he insisted I paid for an Americano. Poor, inconsiderate service!

Overall a solid and decent hotel. Breakfast is good, slightly better than some competitors. The only downside is that the windows cannot be opened, so there is a bit of a lack of fresh air. Apart from that, everything is fine. Good location and well suited for short business trips in Frankfurt.

It was well located next to the Train Station. Excellent Service. SUPER CLEAN. The only issue was that it was not clear about the parking. The hotel doesn’t not have parking. Next door there is one public parking. But besides this mis understanding in thr advertisment…it was great a experience….

This hotel's location is absolutely perfect for catching an early train – it's literally just a few dozen meters from the station! And the price I booked it for was incredibly cheap! I knew IntercityHotel has chains in China, so when I saw it, I booked it without hesitation! Oh, and they even provided two complimentary bottles of water in the room!

Very close to the train station, as soon as you arrive at the station there is a big sign to the right to get to the hotel. Restaurants and bars nearby. It's about what you'd expect from a Marriott, but Marriotts abroad aren't as well-equipped as those in China. I had to call down for bathrobes, slippers, and toothbrushes. Great location, convenient for getting anywhere. The front desk staff were all very warm and attentive. The hotel is quiet, so I slept very well 👌. The LIDO supermarket in the Mall of Berlin is very close, and there's also an Asian supermarket nearby.

This hotel is less than 200 meters from Potsdamer Platz, making it very convenient for transportation. It's also only about a 10-minute walk to the Brandenburg Gate. The hotel's location is fantastic! Most major attractions are within walking distance, and the subway station is right outside the door. We even walked to the Berlin Philharmonic for an evening performance, which only took 8 minutes. Had a really satisfying stay! The hotel lobby was just a few minutes walk from the train station, which was great since I didn't have to drag my luggage around for long. The lobby itself was spacious with plenty of tourist guides and spots to relax. The room was clean and comfortable, exactly what you'd expect from a standard large chain hotel.

The location is great, just a two or three-minute walk from the train station to the hotel. You can pay extra for early check-in. However, I had booked a twin room as a king room wasn't available at the time. The hygiene was good, and the environment was pleasant too.

First I have to say the hotel facilities all very new, the bathroom, pillows and mattress all good quality. However the worst part is WiFi, although the hotel offers you free WiFi, but it can’t be connected at all, they tried to ask you pay extra €6 per day for upgrade services, it’s so annoying. The location is a bit far from the main attractions, you need take bus every day for another costs.

Hotels in Frankfurt are probably all pretty similar, with so many business travelers. I guess the German standard operating procedures are all much the same. The hotel floor is really long and winding. I booked two rooms and they were ridiculously far apart. The location is close to the old town, so that's quite convenient.

General it is a top Hotel. Unfortunately we were not able to stream Netflix or others and the swimming pool was not available. We selected this hotel for both services especially for our children. In general, the stay was successful. The staff speaks little English. There was one incident at a children's attraction. The animator couldn't take control. Parents and grandparents took over and as a result my children were made to cry three times. It was sad.

Also Wi-Fi was awful - works 5 min, then doesn’t work 5 min, and these cycles never end, so it is impossible to join teleconference or video call. Staff weren't able to do anything with this problem, proposal to change the number was strange as this behaviour of wi-fi is presented in any part of hotel (lobby, restaurant, ...)

I cannot say a lot about the rooms, I have been in the Maritim proArte for a conference only. But I want to highlight that the food we got in those 2 days was fantastic. The hotel is large with Basic rooms with no coffee making faciliities or toiletries in the room however it’s clean and the restaurant is good. It is a perfect hotel for a stay close to an exhibition or concert as the stadium is a short walk from the hotel.

Very close to the exhibition hall. Not far from the airport either. You need to take the tram to go to the city. Health: good Good environment The service was excellent. Rich breakfast. The price is average.

The distance to stay during the exhibition is simply not great. You can go back and rest after work. It is also very convenient to take a car. It takes about ten minutes to get to the city center. The only thing that is not good is the food. There are too few places to eat around. The buffet style in the hotel restaurant is not too much, and everything else is fine.

This was my second stay here, and the hotel's location is excellent, with a very comfortable environment. The soundproofing in the rooms is good, and the bedding is great, ensuring a good night's rest. However, the shower stall doesn't have a full door, and the shower head easily swivels, spraying water at odd angles. Water tends to overflow, flooding the entire bathroom, which is quite inconvenient

If you leave your belongings at the hotel, the hotel will not return them. The receptionist will insist that your belongings are not at the hotel. I do not recommend staying at this hotel.

It was very cold when I arrived in Magdeburg. The warmest place was the hotel. I slept in the hotel every day and didn't want to go out. The room was great and the room service was prompt and friendly. All the staff were cool and really nice, especially the assistant front office manager on duty on the morning of 2 May and the front office person who spoke a bit of Japanese. When I arrived my room was not ready so I had to an hour after plus the bedsheets wear not clean enough and the decker sheets was so small to cover me and my partner. A hotel that costs over 100 euros a night charged 50 euros for checking in 3 hours early! I angrily expressed that I wouldn't pay the fee, and then they told me there was a room available for check-in without any charge! I've never encountered this before with Japan Airlines! Now that I know your economy is bad, when did Germans become so greedy!

The hotel has a great location in Düsseldorf, close to Japan Street, Königstraße, and the train station. Prices fluctuated a bit; the price dropped the day after I booked it. Perhaps this is common for hotels in Düsseldorf, which has many convention centers. The room facilities were average; the sink drained slowly, but otherwise it was fine.
