Pilot's Villas Luxury Suites in Hersonissos

Just returned to Ireland after spending 10 days at Pilot's Villas. The apartments are perfect the grounds are amazing and the family run hotel is absolutely spotless. Will absolutely be back.

Just got home after a weeks stay at this lovely accommodation. Absolutely perfect. Immaculately clean , very peaceful, lovely rooms . Super comfy beds . Had a garden room was absolutely perfect the views included a partial sea view . The gardens are stunning and do well maintained this is a Perfect location slap in the middle of the resort. Can’t comment on food options as we were self catering but would highly recommend the accommodation No matter what time of day always sunbeds available which adds to the comfortable stay as no towel wars as reserving is not allowed and the hotel policy is adhered to and not abused. Would definitely return. Steep hill up to the rooms as is the norm in the village was fine for us but could be a problem if any walking / mobility issues. We had an absolutely wonderful holiday at Pilot's villas. The family who run this place went above and beyond in every way, always welcoming us with genuine kindness and care. The villas, the garden and the pool were spotless, beautifully maintained! What makes this place stand out is the atmosphere: it’s not just a hotel, it feels like being welcomed into a family. Already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place and genuine Greek hospitality.

This was the best holiday we have had in Greece in years and Pilot's Villas were outstanding. The Villas are a short 20 minute transfer from the airport and sit in the centre of the village of Koutouloufari, which was also fantastic, with dozens of places to eat and some really friendly bars. It has a great traditional Greek vibe to it and has clearly been invested in by the local residents. Pilot's Villas is run by a really friendly family who will go out of their way to help you and were always welcoming throughout our stay. We had a garden suite overlooking immaculately tended gardens and the med and couldn't have asked for more. The rooms were cleaned daily and everything was comfortable, including the king size beds which were clearly a premium investment when compared to anywhere else I have stayed in Greece. Breakfast was served fresh every day in the bar area overlooking an amazing pool and there was never a shortage of sun-beds whatever time you turned up. We never felt the need to go to the beach, the pool area and proximity to so many restaurants made your whole stay so easy - and the terrace is the perfect place for a drink at the end of the day! We're booking to go back already and would highly recommend Pilot's villas to anyone else looking to visit Crete.. One personal note, there is a sweet little cat that lives on the plot with one blue eye and one yellow.. she is ever so friendly but gets a hard time from a few of the tom cats in the surrounding area, so if you see her, please be nice to her!

The place is managed by a wonderful caring family. Everything is extraordinary clean well maintained and equiped. Breakfast is rich, varied and adjusted to your personal desire. The pool (as everything else) is beautiful and clean. The guest house is located in vibrant cool street and yet is very quiet and private. We strongly recomand Pilot's Villas and we would definetaly come back once we visit Hersonissos again!

We stayed here as a group of four for a week in July 2025. These apartments are absolutely beautiful. Spotlessly clean. Large spacious and the most comfortable bed I've ever had abroad. The pool area is also spotlessly clean the pool is warm and well kept and there are plenty of sunbeds for everyone and they are strict about not reserving which is a breath of fresh air when you stay at a hotel. The main thing though is the owners. It is a family run business and they really go out of the way to look after you and make you feel very welcome. We opted to include breakfast with our booking and are glad we did. The owners a lovely lady and her husband cook you everything fresh eggs any way and bacon you get fresh bread even lurpak butter fresh orange juice tea coffee fruit cake yoghurt and lovely pastries. The lady was so caring and we felt that she treated us as her own family. Her husband was a caring lovely man who helped her. During the daytime her son ran the hotel and he was lovely too and made sure you had whatever you wanted. You step outside the complex and you are in the heart of a beautiful village with an abundance of lovely modern well designed quaint restaurants and shops. The food was amazing everywhere we ate, well priced and the Greek hospitality second to none. You are about a 20 min walk to the seafront but we mainly stayed in the village as it was so lovely.This is mainly a Dutch resort which means a lovely clientele. No lager louts that you find in some resorts. Just nice respectable people enjoying their holiday. I highly recommend the Pilots Villas and the village for a quiet peaceful holiday with lovely views.

We have just returned from an excellent 2 weeks stay at Pilots Villas,Stayed in Garden View villa, large lounge,bedroom with enormous bed,and covered patio,everything to the highest quality. The cleaners were excellent.Large pool with sunbeds always available,with nice pool bar.Very central location with at least 30 bars/restaurants with in 10 mins walk.We were made very welcome by the family. Would love to return. ,

We have just returned home from another amazing 2 week family holiday at Pilot Villas in Koutouloufari! The 2+2 villa was spotless, had everything you needed, and was perfect for relaxing. Felt like home. The pool was immaculate, as always. The location is peaceful yet close to great tavernas and shops. A huge thank you to the Damianakis family, who were the most welcoming and thoughtful hosts. As always, their warmth and hospitality made our stay truly special. We can’t wait to return next year.

Had a fantastic stay here in September 2024, I went on a solo trip and found that it was the perfect location and I cannot recommend it enough (I have been to this village many times before, but this is my first time staying at this resort, and I will absolutely be returning). I had a one bed apartment with balcony and sea view and the room was spacious, extremely clean, the view of the sea was stunning and the entire resort was perfect. This is a family owned resort and they truly are the loveliest people ever, so kind, great conversation and can't do enough for you. I was very impressed with the pool area, the pool itself is a great size, really clean and a good set of rules for ensuring everyone has a pleasant stay. In terms of rules, a stand out for me is the non reservation of sun beds first thing, and if you are leaving the area for a longer timeframe, that you take your items with you - it made for a stress free holiday, no getting up early to put towels down and it also meant that there was always availability around the pool no matter what time of day you went to the area. There is a bar around the pool where you can get drinks, food is available during the day and you have a lovely view from the pool area. There is also seating available which I thought was a nice touch for anyone wanting to relax but not necessarily sunbathe. I found that this is definitely a place people return to, which was evident amongst the guests and I found that made a really nice atmosphere and bought some lovely conversations which made me feel very welcome both from the owners and other guests perspectives, especially as I was solo during this trip! Well what can I say about this most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed in. The rooms are just amazing spotless and cleaned every day and the bed is just wow. The gardens are beautiful and so quiet and the pool is the clenist pool I have ever seen katarina and yorgius are absolutely amazing and so welcoming they make you feel like family. We will definitely be going back to this truly wonderful hotel
