The location of El Greco Hotel is great. It's worth taking a room with a sea view, otherwise you end up seeing a hole-like courtyard, which, however, has plants. The additional charge for air conditioning is a rather salty 8eur/day/person, and the power of the air conditioning leaves much to be desired. The facilities are a bit shabby but clean. The Stalis Hotel has all a tourist will need, nice rooms, good food, friendly stuff. I enjoyed beach and beach bar. Familiar place. Very lovely and calm place. In relation price vesus quality we recommended this hotel. It is simple hotel but is quiet, have a pool and is near the beach (350m). Our room have a fridge and it is posible to have hot water to make a tea or coffee.

The owners are giving their hearts to this business. They have the cutest dog also, who is very polite and silent. I feel like we have read so many bad comments which were undeserved for this place. You get correct value for the amount you pay, and they are not treating you less politely just because it is a 2 star place.

The only downside is that the kitchen and bar only open at 8 s if you are a morning person....coffee is difficult to acquire but this would valid for most in this region. The room has a small fridge but would be perfect if it had also a small kettle so I could make at least an instant coffee from the shop.

AC split conditioner in the room Our room overlooked the Main Street which is very noisy so the windows must be closed. Evilion Hotel was perfect for our time in Chania. We are a family of 5 so enjoy a little space to spread out. The suite we stayed in was very large with a spacious living/eating/kitchen area as well as one of two bathrooms. Upstairs, there were two large bedrooms and a second bathroom. We had our own patio area and the was a large communal area including a playground and lively pool with loungers....
