The property was a basic hotel with a nice view. Unfortunately, power was lost during our stay. The parking lot is 5 parking spaces, and larger cars extend into the street making it unusable. In addition the bathrooms had a smell, even after being cleaned. Likely from the drain in the floor. Very small shower and small room.

Super nice host, gave us tips on what to visit and which restaurants were good. The breakfast buffet was also super great!

The hotel is located at the top of a hill with wonderful views of the ocean, beaches, Chania and the mountains. It is quiet and not too big so the service felt very personal. Probably the best price/quality ratio around Sitia. The hotel is clean, confortable, the rooms are extremely spacious and well equipped with all the basics you can expect at this price level. Antonis at the reception is very discreet but always answered any question or issue we had. The pool is very enjoyable.

Location, location, location! The hotel is literally right next to the beach with a huge swimming area. Also a short walk into the center of town. I loved being able to walk everywhere. Just returned from a 7 night stay at the Elea apartments. Suited us down to the ground, lovely and clean, spacious apartment with plenty of amenities. The location is perfect being only a 5 minute walk from both the nearest beach and supermarkets. The pool area is lovely as you are surrounded by banana palms and shade is provided by olive trees. Will definitely stay here again on our return.

Stayed in Elea in October, this was my second visit and cannot recommend the apartments enough. They have everything you need, are 5 minutes walk from 2 supermarkets and really close to several beautiful beaches. We will hopefully be back in the not too distant future.

From the first welcome, greeted off the coach, to the final goodbye, the family run apartments made for a wonderful holiday. The rooms were clean, tidy and modern. Very friendly place, well located near enough to the airport to give a short transfer and bus into the city and other nearby resorts. Basic self catering, clean and well serviced. Comfortable and chill! The hotel let us enjoy the best of Matala. The cleaning service is very well done, the only pitfalls are the breackfast that is quite repetitive and the pool is closed during nightime. Tip: when walking back to the hotel in the evining, look up, the clean dark sky full of stars is pure awe!

we have been there in 2016 and 2017. our favorite place in crete. feels like a pueblo village. perfect combination of ecology and holidays. warning: this is not for the luxory freaks. no pool, no electricity in the rooms, no full service slaves. if you need this, better choose the "white river cottages" in the neighborhood. but here in a.p. you get helpfull staff, lovely people and - if you feed them...

Very nice but it does miss a little plus in terms of deco, check-in/out, we would love something more personal, a little cosy touch in terms of linen, tables, sofas, outside furnitures. Nice small hotel with a clean comfortable rooms, a pool and restaurant both with sea view. It is located on the coast and has a nice sandy beach. Sunbeds by the pool were comfortable. It was quiet and not too crowded at the end of the high season, a perfect time to relax and enjoy the sound of the waves. This is my friends and mine second year staying here, and it’s great. The staff are lovely and so welcoming and are always approachable and talkative. Booked on line with ease and dropped in on way back to airport. Staff were lovely and super helpfull. Alison a Scottish lass looked after us during beach stay while at the hotel and is a great member of staff. Restaurant on site was great local food and again service and staff were exceptional

We spend a week end of July 2020 and we have to admit that we made the right choice. Great location right , next to the city center, very close to the beach, bus station, Bars , Clubs. Most friendly reception plus helpful, the top room overlooking the sea was well equipped though the kettle was not supplied with tea or coffee, no problem lots of decently priced café bars and restaurants around. Only one minute to the sea; I would have liked to see some English news on the tv though the Wi-Fi signal proved to be excellent!

The location is perfect as the hotel is situated to a very central, though quiet area. The rooms are very spacy, full equipped and extremely clean.
