The hotel is located at the top of a hill with wonderful views of the ocean, beaches, Chania and the mountains. It is quiet and not too big so the service felt very personal. Probably the best price/quality ratio around Sitia. The hotel is clean, confortable, the rooms are extremely spacious and well equipped with all the basics you can expect at this price level. Antonis at the reception is very discreet but always answered any question or issue we had. The pool is very enjoyable.

Three years I come every summer, and by all means the Sea Breeze has the best quality-price ratio. The rooms are big, clean and well equipped, the pool is extremely enjoyable and the owner is very nice and available for all requests. Highly recommended.

The room is located at the city center. It is very hard to park in this area, it is best to avoid it if you come by car. However, if coming by public transportation it is very convenient. It was clean and nice and the receptionist was very friendly. The only issues we found were the mattress being too soft and the lack of support to hang the shower while bathing.

Location, location, location! The hotel is literally right next to the beach with a huge swimming area. Also a short walk into the center of town. I loved being able to walk everywhere. Me and my husband stayed for 10nights, I couldn't fault the place, we stayed on the first floor 1 bedroom apartment very clean and spacious, plenty of sunbeds around the pool, decent size pool, walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets, beaches just down the road. Nice looking little hotel on the old Matala road. Affordable rates and very kind and caring staff. On the downside, unpractical bathrooms, and a quite basic breakfast (ok, it's only 5€). Overall, a nice stay anyway.

Comfortable and chill! The hotel let us enjoy the best of Matala. The cleaning service is very well done, the only pitfalls are the breackfast that is quite repetitive and the pool is closed during nightime. we have been there in 2016 and 2017. our favorite place in crete. feels like a pueblo village. perfect combination of ecology and holidays. warning: this is not for the luxory freaks. no pool, no electricity in the rooms, no full service slaves. if you need this, better choose the "white river cottages" in the neighborhood. but here in a.p. you get helpfull staff, lovely people and - if you feed them...

Very nice but it does miss a little plus in terms of deco, check-in/out, we would love something more personal, a little cosy touch in terms of linen, tables, sofas, outside furnitures. An incredible stay at Aspros Potamos! The cottages are amazingly beautiful with a strong taste of authenticity and rustic style. The surroundings are just amazing, luscious green, peacefulness and serenity just a couple of minutes away from amenities.

Nice small hotel with a clean comfortable rooms, a pool and restaurant both with sea view. It is located on the coast and has a nice sandy beach. Sunbeds by the pool were comfortable. It was quiet and not too crowded at the end of the high season, a perfect time to relax and enjoy the sound of the waves. This is my friends and mine second year staying here, and it’s great. The staff are lovely and so welcoming and are always approachable and talkative. We ate here most nights and for the price of the food it’s good, with options of Greek cuisine and more basic meals for those who aren’t adventurous. Booked on line with ease and dropped in on way back to airport. Staff were lovely and super helpfull. Alison a Scottish lass looked after us during beach stay while at the hotel and is a great member of staff. Restaurant on site was great local food and again service and staff were exceptional

When we arrived there we noticed that the hotel looked different than what the pictures showed. When we got to our room we found that there was a leak in the ceiling. The leak was sewage water from the room above. The staff didnt try to fix it or give us another room and instead told us to find a different hotel. This is a really nice hotel with clean and nicely laid out rooms, friendly and helpful staff and a breakfast that is regularly topped up. Great pool too. The hotel is very close to the beach, no more than 100 paces. The receptionists are very friendly. The hotel is on top of all the night life and restaurants as well as the main road where there are even more shops. However, the hotel does need a need a bit of improvement around some areas including our room, 213. They could also do with some, "Do not disturb tags for the rooms". The bed base needs...
