Description
Hotel for family and youth recreation. Good ratio price-quality. A good all-inclusive. A large area, a waterslide for children. A short drive away, Hersonissos is one of the popular youth resorts.

Location: 22 km from Heraklion airport, 3 km from Hersonissos.
Consists of one 4-storey building and a complex of 2-3 storey cottages.
The hotel has 276 rooms.
Total area: 1 000 m2
Beach: own sandy-pebbly beach within the public beach, 10 m from the hotel (1st coastal line). There is a wooden platform for the descent to the sea. Umbrellas, sunbeds – free of charge. The length of the beach 200 m.
Towels for a Deposit. Between the hotel and the beach is the promenade.

THE CONCEPT OF "ALL INCLUSIVE":
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner, with cooking demonstrations in the main restaurant (07:30-10:00, 12:30-14:00, 18:30-21:30)- a selection of hot and cold appetizers, main course, dessert, selection of fruits, ice cream; coffee and snacks at the pool bar (10:00-17:45); Mediterranean lunch (12:00-14:30) or dinner (19:00-21:30) — buffet style in the Snack bar, tavern, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks of local production, cocktails, coffee, tea, water in restaurants during main meals and in bars during working hours (up to 24:00); early breakfasts and Lunches (reservation is needed 1 day in reception).
- Daily sports animation: gymnastics, Aqua-fitness, sports and games, tennis courts, table tennis, Billiards, beach volley, Canoeing, water bikes, Windsurfing (certificate is required). Multilingual animation 6 days a week, shows and skits in the theater lobby. Once a week Greek evening with national dances.

This hotel is a disaster. When we arrived, we were surprised that there were not many people there. At first it felt quite pleasant, but later we found out that the hotel was almost empty due to water contamination that had occurred, and that all guests and some staff had to be hospitalized and transferred to neighboring hotels.
Everything in the hotel is old, dirty, and poorly maintained. By European standards, this would be about a 1.5-star hotel. The only good thing about our stay was the food. That’s about it. Definitely choose a different hotel than this one. This vacation was completely ruined. I even saw a cockroach in the room!

Hotel right by the sea.
The food was delicious with a wide variety to choose from.
The staff were friendly. Special thanks to the bartender Γιώργος (Zac Efron) for the tasty cocktails.
What I didn’t like was that there was no separation between smoking and non-smoking areas — people smoked everywhere: by the sea, by the pool, and even in the pool. Smoking was also allowed in the reception area.
I missed having music playing by the pool throughout the day.

This is our last full day at Serita Beach hotel. We have been here for 9 nights and was here the same last October 2024! After having such a lovely holiday last year we came back with the family and grandchildren. This hotel is very good value for the cost… The staff are all amazingly friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean / room serviced everyday with fresh linen/towels. Its more than adequate for 4* . The food is amazing with so much choice always fresh, fish, meat, lamb , salads - what ever you want . There are 3 seperate restaurants greek, Italian & shushi each offer lovely service and food . Breakfast has everything you could want . I have read bad reviews on the food here and all i can say is you must expect gourmet food at 4* prices- the food is delicious !! Cocktails are nice , again not fancy but you can pay if you want that, all inclusive drinks are adequate and generous served by friendly bar staff The entertainment team are super fun and so friendly. Theres a spa we have had massages which were lovely. Sunbeds and pools are nice and the beds are very comfy. We recommend this and say look beyond any negative reviews as it lovely!! Theres a lovely jewellery shop inside hotel with the man that makes the jewellery his name is Thanossis and he is lovely, i bought an earring and pendant set handmade that is beautiful!! All in all for the price we recommend this hotel as a lovely stay , relaxing with nice surroundings, beach and bars! Hope to see them again after renovations starting next month. Thank you for a great holiday , weather was amazing too , in the late 20’s for october!!

The manager delivered a very nice gesture to me and my partner to celebrate our engagement he is definitely a people person the hotel staff are excellent nothing is any trouble to them. The food is excellent and rooms very clean I would definitely recommend this hotel it gives a family atmosphere. Very relaxed and chilled

After reading some of the recent reviews I was apprehensive before our recent holiday at Serita Beach Hotel. There was no need to worry. Room comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff from cleaners, reception, bar staff, restaurant and especially animation team who struck the right balance between encouraging you to take part without being pushy. Always a good selection of food for all 3 meals even with 2 picky eaters in our group. Good selection of cocktails at the bar. Hotel very clean. Have stayed in better 5* hotels but standard was definitely above a 4* hotel

Wrong start at the beginning, room was overbooked for the 1ste day. They helped us to the other hotel and we could still use the facilities of the hotel. Did get a compensation.
Older staff was polite and friendly, the younger ones nah.
Room was cleaned everyday, so no complaints.
Nice pools and beach was ok.
The Spa was excellent, gym was very basic.
What made our stay, was the animationteam
Great team, lots of activities and superb eveningshows.
You can rent a car, in the hotel. Very quick fixed and nice person at the desk.

Here’s an honest real review
Pros:
1. Great view and resort layout
2. Spent 1000€ for a 7 day holiday all-inclusive with flights so pretty cheap
3. Nice beach with clear water and no debris in it
4. Close to a shop
5. Has a good variety of food around 50 at a time and 10-15 of them change between breakfast, lunch and dinner
6. Receptionists were always nice, helpful and cheerful with 3 other employees that worked at the bars most of the times plus 1 great manager that was roaming the dining hall and keeping everything there in check
Cons:
1. The beach was very rocky under the water and the depth changed a lot we were there only twice during our stay because we got hurt a lot
2. Although there were many types of food the food was good at best the chicken was always dry and most of the meats were chewy. The food got repetitive very fast because the food was mid so you don’t even want to try new stuff. Their fries are the most disappointing thing there they were just cooked no color, floppy and soggy even when they just brought them
3. The staff had a few nice people yet the 6 employees didn’t make enough of a difference when the rest of them were demotivated, angry, dissatisfied, disgusted with the work you could feel if. Especially some of the bartenders
4. In the 7 days we were here there was one event for “adults” that could entertain us and yet it was some kind of show with mascots. It was really disappointing to hear the resort next to us party from 8pm to midnight and we were sitting in our rooms on our phones because the only thing we had were either get fuzzy at the bar or go night swimming
5. Huge amount of stairs
This resort is mostly for families and elderly but not for youngsters that want to have a good time.
Overall I’d give
The resort - 4
The staff - 3 with the good employees and without - 1
The food - 3
The activities - 4 for parents and children, but for adults - 0
To help this resort I’d lower the stars to 4 or to keep it at 5 upgrade the food and staff quality plus a must is som kind of after dinner activity like live music or something for young adults or adults in general.

Nice, but not 5 stars. we changed rooms three times until we got what we expected. the environment is beautiful, the staff is different. at the reception - great. in the bars everyone is so tired, as if the sex hasn't just started. cozy hotel without the wow effect.

We visited for 7 nights as a couple and really enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, amazing view of the sea, stocked with water daily. All staff really friendly and helpful. Pool was lovely, and the animation team give a really good vibe with lots to do in the daytime. The sunset over the water is incredible and the hotel pool bar has a great view. Breakfast and lunch had a lot of choice, but there is also poolside options as well which makes it flexible. Personally we didn’t have dinner at the hotel as there are better options at nearby Analipsi and Heronissos. Top Tip - download the Freenow App as works same as uber and is cheap and easy to travel around. Overall would highly recommended and would visit again!
