When we arrived there we noticed that the hotel looked different than what the pictures showed. When we got to our room we found that there was a leak in the ceiling. The leak was sewage water from the room above. The staff didnt try to fix it or give us another room and instead told us to find a different hotel. We went for a two-day relax and the impressions it left us were the best!!! Our room was spacious, the bathroom clean, separately the shower, separately the toilet, very important for a family!! This is a really nice hotel with clean and nicely laid out rooms, friendly and helpful staff and a breakfast that is regularly topped up. Great pool too. The rooms are cleaned daily which is not something that always happens here. Great shower too. 3 minutes from the beach and restaurants just a few minutes away.

Very nice hotel at an affordable price. The rooms are simple but have everything you need for a good stay. Great pool bar serving breakfast, drinks and snacks all day long and a lovely bartender! Highly recommend having a room with a sea view :)

What a hidden gem! Clean, well maintained, comfy beds and lovely rooms. The pool area is lovely too. Deserves more than 3* as a hotel. Much needed few days of calm and rest after a wedding on the mainland. Will definitely return

Lovely hotel. So nicely kept. The garden and swimmingpool is amazing. There are always sundbeds available. One of the party stayed in hotelroom wich is spacious and with lovely views from balcony. We stayed in the penthouse and the view, the space, the jaccuzzi. Wow! Also the people keeping the hotel are nice and hospilitable. The cafe in the poolarea is good for lunch and also for drinks at night...

The hotel was immaculately clean at all times in the rooms and pool areas. Pool was lovely and peaceful and water was refreshing. Staff were very friendly and hard working. Towels changed daily if required and rooms cleaned every day. Room overlooking the pool and sea was superb. Will definitely return

Our fourth visit to this hotel. A favourite of ours although this visit we did feel it would benefit from a little maintenance. Rooms clean and comfortable although a bit noisy. Breakfast was excellent with great service and tasty food. Parking very handy.

Sweet and friendly staff, backyard to the pool was lovely to chill on, rooftop was pretty and spacious, location by a lot of tavernas and pubs, only minus from the air condition that used to leak some nights, didn’t really bother us we just put something under so it wasn’t leaking on the floor

This was out first trip to Crete. And we are SO please with this hotel!! Nice clean rooms in a very authentic style. The owner, the receptionist and the cleaning lady made us feel right at home. They were so nice to us. Very helpful and and made us feel right at home. We will definetly return!!

Heartful service and all in all, a decent hotel to relax with the family. Central location in Platanias is a huge plus as well, while being still quiet. Roof terrace was a cool addition as well, and guests are welcome to stay and store luggage even after check out, which was indeed helpful to us.

The apartment was good enough, there was not much space in the bathroom.

Modest but clean place. Very friendly staff. Location is very centered. Pool is with icy water, not suitable for children due the temperature. Upstairs rooms have to use street pavement to get there, this is not cool. Wifi is quite poor.

Fantastically friendly staff; they have a little museum with replicas of many important objects from around Crete and original coins and notes from history, as well as a bicycle made for two! The rooms are probably the most home-like ones on the island. Think "log cabin" and you're on the right track.
