Hotels with water slides in Crete

The grounds, staff, food, views, all amazing. Our private pool was in shade all of the time but it's probably in sin during the summer months. Lots of mosquitos so plug ins are a must

We were also disappointed that we couldn’t get even one night at the à la carte restaurant, especially since the hotel was nearly closing for the season in late October

We had a fabulous 4 night stay in a 3 bedroom maisonette (upgrade from 2 bedroom maisonette). We were 2 adults and a teenager staying in the last week of the season in October

When we gave our feedback, the guest relations lady didn’t take it very well and rather bluntly mentioned that no other guests had complained about the limited meat options — we felt this was a bit rude and dismissive

The reception and restaurant staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly — they really made us feel at home from the moment we arrived

The only downside, and the reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars, was the limited variety of meat options in the main restaurant

Prior to our visit, i messaged the hotel to pre-arrange some flowers etc, They provided many options depending on the budget. When we arrived to our hotel room they provided the flowers in a lovely

We came to Mirabello for 10 days for our Honeymoon with our 2 year old son. From arrival up until the last day, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Good internet working throughout the hotel, even in the room, even on the beach. The child included cartoons from youtube and contact

Ioanna was incredible. Really targeted the muscles and eased the tensions.

A special shout out needs to be given to Matthew, the concierge, who went above and beyond in every respect taking immediate care of any request and ensuring all of our requests were taken care of

In addition to the people, the location of the Mirabello Bay Resort adds to the incredible experience - it is truly a beautiful hotel with fantastic views across the bay and the most magical sunrises

I missed having music playing by the pool throughout the day

I have read bad reviews on the food here and all i can say is you must expect gourmet food at 4* prices- the food is delicious !! Cocktails are nice , again not fancy but you can pay if you want that, all inclusive drinks are adequate and generous served by friendly bar staff The entertainment team are super fun and so friendly

This is our last full day at Serita Beach hotel. We have been here for 9 nights and was here the same last October 2024! After having such a lovely holiday last year we came back with the family and grandchildren

This hotel is very good value for the cost… The staff are all amazingly friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean / room serviced everyday with fresh linen/towels. Its more than adequate for 4*

The food is amazing with so much choice always fresh, fish, meat, lamb , salads - what ever you want. There are 3 seperate restaurants greek, Italian & shushi each offer lovely service and food

Lovely hotel in a great location. Walking distance to Elounda, plenty of entertainment from reps that clearly love their jobs, and beautiful views. We had a shared private pool which was lovely

Sunbeds on the terrace area near the main pool would also improve on the morning sunbed reserving

She would meet me every meal and take my personal order to be made fresh for me in the kitchen. Nothing was too much trouble and she even made sure there were some lovely puddings I could have

We had two balconies but only set of furniture 🤷🏻‍♀️ Food: This was very mixed; breakfast was great, lunch in the snack bar was great but the restaurant wasn’t, the evening meals in the restaurant were generally ok and the two al la carte were really good

The outdoor seating is good if you can get a seat but again lacks atmosphere. I’m not a fan of loud music but it would really benefit from some kind of holiday music, a live band and some lighting

The main restaurant has canteen feel, nothing special at all. Though the staff work tirelessly to keep it well stock and clean. Entertainment: Evenings were very lacking for older kids/adults

🏠 Our Rooms We stayed in a Double Room with a Sea View – spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, TV, safe, and plenty of sockets. The balcony had a great view of the Olympic pool and sea

The hotel was spotless throughout, and every member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful, and clearly worked very hard to keep everything running smoothly

One of the best resorts we’ve ever encountered: amazing food variety and quality, competent and friendly staff, excellent facilities, great beach and pools, convenient location.

The beach is amazing, the pools are very nice and clean, the staff and dining was great, we had an amazing time and we’re very happy that we booked this resort for two weeks!

The resort is huge so although it was full, you couldn’t feel it. Nice activities, lots of pools, you can always find a spot with a sun bed in one of the pools

There are 5 restaurants, 4 bars, and plenty of facilities, including tennis courts, a gym, and a water park

Theres not a lot to walk to nearby and the local beaches are taken up by sunbeds from the bars, but we'd recommend a walk into Koutouloufari for a look round the shops or a drink in the evening

The main dining area is really big and being able to sit outside meant you didn't feel like you were going to the same restaurant for every meal! Lots of fresh food options, the grill and the salad bars were excellent

The pools are fab - a 50 metre pool on holiday! Even when it was busy it didn't feel busy. Plenty of sunbeds available around the pools or on the peaceful sun terrace

Having a separate bar area from the entertainment means you can choose a more peaceful spot in the evening, or get involved in the fun

We loved our stay (August 2025) at the Royal And Imperial Belvedere hotel. Our room was great, newly decorated and spotlessly clean

The causal dining options were also great with a range of family friendly food available

The facilities are great but many people still used towels to reserve sunbeds even though the resort states towels will be removed (they were not). We traveled in October half term and were very lucky with the wether

The staff at the Enomy main buffet restaurant were mostly okay but many staff were rude or not attentive at all (we sat waiting for cutlery and to be asked our drinks order for ages and then had to try and find someone)

Really great beautifully decorated communal areas and a really classy bar with great cocktails. Everything was just SO easy and pleasant so we could concentrate on spending time together as a family and having fun

This is a lovely resort, really quite unique as it's like being in a village. There are 7 restaurants which is nice as you can have a different dinner experience instead of the buffet all the time

We loved the day activities, especially the watergym where we went twice a day. We havent set a foot outside the hotel which means how great the hotel was

Most staff we came across were friendly and helpful, especially at the bars and reception

The hotel is lovely, yes it does get busy with families in school holidays but that can be said of many places, the staff are all fantastic and nothing is too much trouble for their guests

We love them all and in all of our travels we have never found anywhere quite so comfortable and that makes us feel like we are at home while we are away. We will see you all next year

We stayed 4th to 14th September 2025 and as always our stay was fantastic

Another slight gripe was the mini-bar in the room was not always topped up and there was a charge for crisps and Nuts! Comfy bed and a great shower in the bathroom made for a comfortable stay, but do take a multi pot adapter, as there are not many sockets

You could get lunch bookings fairly easily, but the breakfasts were huge, so we skipped lunch most of the times. The food was generally very good and the service fantastic, considering how busy they were

People have mentioned that some of the rooms are dated which I don't understand because the room we booked was pretty much the same as the one pictured on the hotels and Jet2 s websites

The pools were fab, although we only swam in the freshwater one, but everywhere was clean, towels changed daily, and little shop on site for water / snacks for the day we stayed on site

Half board doesn’t include drinks at dinner, only at breakfast. Staff seemed happy to provide water though, and the hot drinks machine was OK to use, they had a good selection of teas

If you’re here without a car, go early on in your stay to the village at Panamos (by land train) and book your trips from the offices there. Overall great value for money, and the staff have been absolutely magnificent

Starters and desserts were buffet (the moussaka was amazing!), but they were lacking apple fritters, fried banana and Turkish delight from the pudding bar (favourites from Greek night in the buffet restaurant)

The sofa bed had an issue as the cushions separated at night, and we needed to move it to avoid drips from the air con. We loved having a fridge in our room to keep drinks cool when we got back from our trips

The food itself has been fabulous - we tried lots of Greek and Cretan dishes, and loved the variety of fish and grilled meats, as well as the salad bar and fruits / cheese

We didnt try the restaurants and stuck with Buffet which a wide range and variety of dishes - even Chinese! The cakes and desserts were exemplary! Drinks wise kids were happy with sodas and we drank the Minoan Era lager which we really liked

I had a Spa Day and treatment - staff were excellent, sauna and jacazzui lovely. On a duller day took kids to the Aquarium which was good and only 30 min walk e/w along the seafront

It seems they focus on little kids, and there's nothing for the 8 to 12 years old. The gym didn't have an aircon, was extremely hot, and was not comfortable to train

My family and I had a lovely holiday at Gouves. The staff were excellent, particularly Maria at Poseidon Bar who could not do enough for us

Food was excellent: I have two fussy eaters and they could always find something to eat at the Buffet

We came in April and it majority of facilities as to WHY we chose this hotel are closed and not available - play area for kids, indoor pool closed due to construction

Very nice hotel, clean, with big rooms. Room service is great, every day they refill our coffees. We can ask them to refill our water containers, thus saving plastic bottles. The staff is amazing, always smiling and nice

It has a huge pool overooking Chania town and a nice gym. We couldn't use the pool, as it was winter, but the gym we liked a lot

The free hotel shuttle is very convenient (just coordinate the time with the host). The property also features a nice outdoor pool and a useful self-service laundry, free except for detergent capsules

I’m reluctant to leave a fabulous review as everyone will want to go there! It was our 4th visit to the hotel & it never fails to deliver on excellence, the staff are amazingly friendly & professional, nothing is too much trouble for them

The entire hotel aesthetics frln the room and restuarant to the hallways. Staff are very friendly and the shuttle service provided was class.

The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and spacious, and the rooms with private pools are simply luxurious! A few minor downsides: to reach the beach, you have to cross the road, and sunbeds are available only on the hotel grounds

The same applies to the hotel towels. We booked “all inclusive” but here’s what that means: • Water is tap water. • Service is basic, nowhere near 5-star

We stayed at Galini Palace Hotel — overall, it’s a great option for a relaxing vacation. The staff are very friendly, always ready to help and accommodate guests

The restaurant offered a delicious and varied menu, with friendly and attentive service. We had a wonderful experience at this hotel, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay!

Room cleaning was done regularly, and towels were changed every day. The food was varied, with a beautiful buffet-style presentation — there’s something for every taste

For those arriving early or leaving late, this can be a bit inconvenient, but that’s just the hotel policy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend this hotel! 🌴☀️

Fortunately, the mini disco is a bit away from the main restaurant and, although we are here with a small child, we really appreciated having a room far away from the hustle and bustle of the kids' pool and mini disco

Great resort in a quiet area with a private beach with free sun loungers, beach bar and swimming pool Rooms were nice and spacious, housekeeping stuff was friendly and always wanted to help with anything

Minor renovations are needed (for example, the indoor pool), but in general everything is still usable and good value for money

There were always enough sun chairs both at the pool and the beach! A total recommendation if you look for a family vacation!

There were many options for lunch and dinner and the breakfast buffet was amazing. It’s very family friendly there and there are activities for children and adults. It was a beautiful walk to Georgiopolis on the beach

It's a bit of a shame that the all-you-can-eat nature of the restaurant means that the cuisine is somewhat underappreciated. Because a lot of it is really well made and above average! Everything is clean

The water activities options and their maintenance is very good

We have just booked to come again in 2026 which will be around our 18th holiday to this hotel. We have always loved coming here. The changes that have been made over the last few years are huge

The team at the Greek restaurant helped surprise my husband with a birthday cake on our first night too. My sons loved the water slides and pool and the evening entertainment was fun

Our favourite was the white party disco. Although the location is remote and there isn’t a lot to do in the local area the hotel is big enough without feeling trapped. We would definitely visit again

We loved it before but now it’s brought a whole new level. There is so much choice and everyone is catered for in my opinion. The hotel is very clean and tidy

The food is very good and better than a lot of 5 star resorts we have visited. The A’la carte Greek and Asian restaurants are amazing with the food and service excellent

Nice enough for families, great options for pools. Our kids loved the waterpark and hitting the football pitch each night with other kids from around the world

Lovely hotel for a family holiday. Between the pools, water park and beach our water babies were in heaven; with the inclusively priced cocktails we were too! Delicious and great range of food in the buffet

We just had our second family holiday at Marine Palace and were once again very happy with everything. The location, the food and service is great!

The only slight negative we found was the lack of lactose-free yoghurt, which was surprising given the multitude of options otherwise

Perhaps the biggest highlight was the staff, they were lovely and super helpful any time we needed anything

Great food, friendly staff, drinks are amazing and the bar staff takes their time to prepare them, beautiful beach and the spa was very relaxing. My daughter and I enjoyed our facials!

The massage here was really good. I was treated by Albora, she was very friendly and polite, and the massage was perfect. The products smell amazing. Highly recommended!!!

I visited the spa with my daughter for the Cretan masssage. We both thouroughly loved this and would recommend. Albora is very good.

We booked a different hotel and really didn’t feel comfortable so found this place and transferred here the same night of check in

It was the perfect way to end a fun-filled day at the park. The Disney shows made us feel like we were part of the story — everything was colorful, fun, and full of joy. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations

The dining area felt more like a canteen than a 5 star hotel and the staff were not very attentive, you had to wait ages to even get a glass of water

The amenities were top-notch — especially the breakfast buffet, which offered a great variety of fresh and delicious options. One of the highlights of our trip was the Cuban show in the evening

My fiancé and I stayed here for 1 week at the start of October. Mitsis Rinela is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are beautiful, modern and kept immaculately clean

There are 5 swimming pools, including a mini waterpark for children, making the resort perfect for families, fully reflecting the SOL by Meliá brand standards

Lovely hotel,fantastic staff john is a lovely entertainer, only thing we found is not much english food too much French. Rooms cleaned daily, clean hotel and pool

Aspa and other lady at the cocktail bar were very sweet. There is Gym, Nice little shop inhouse, Swimming pools. Kitchen manager was very professional

The hotel beach is clean and well equipped, with sunbeds and umbrellas included, as well as beach volleyball and football courts

The only small downside is that the indoor pool, open during the colder months, is unfortunately not heated

Would be an idea to have fridges round hotel with bottles of water

This is an antiquated and ridiculous rule that needs to be changed ASAP. Special mention also to Nikki at the pool bar who was utterly fantastic- a really caring individual who loves her job a was a joy to be around

Her kindness, warmth, and genuine care made us feel completely at home. Also, a huge thank you to Niki at the pool bar — always friendly, cheerful, and full of energy

The food here is good but my one definite complaint is the ridiculous rule about MEN ONLY have to wear shoes at dinner…utterly ludicrous you have a room full of men in gym shoes rather than some smart sandals

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Iberostar Creta Marine. From start to finish, everything was fantastic — the atmosphere, the food, the staff, and the service

This rule is discriminatory as women are allowed sandals and flip flops at dinner. On a warm evening having to wear shoes just ruined my dining experience

First this Hotel makes it clear that it is on the side of a hill and not suitable for people with walking difficulties. That being said I must make it clear that it is an extremely step and very of steps everywhere

Service all round fantastic, great rooms, great food choices especially the Taverna and A La Carte both of which, despite being included in the all inclusive package, I would happily have paid extra for

I will simply list my observations and allow you to see the pros and cons regarding this Hotel. It is a very beautiful Hotel 2. There are lots of space and some facilities 5

6, The all inclusive is only from 10am to 11pm, the hotel info says the pool bars are open from 10am until 11pm, but the active bar closes when the pool closes

There is only toilets in the basement area under receiption, so a bit of a distance from the dining room, At the Lower pool bar and at the beach bar

I loved this resort! I recommend the all exclusive pack if you want to have a good stay! The kids loved the water park everything was fantastic! Especially the food!!!!! I really recommend this resort it has THE BEST view etc

The rooms are amazing, the staff upgraded us and we had our own plunge pool which was a nice bonus. The spa facilities are brilliant and the massages are amazing. Will definitely be staying here again

The restaurant was open at almost any time and there were basically no restrictions. The kids loved the water slide. Although it was not big, there were not many people and they could enjoy it

You don't have leave the pool for eating drinking. At Sunday I got a cultural evening with cretan dance group

Just got bk frm staying at the blue sea beach hotel with our friends. Fantastic holiday frm start to finish. The staff were Amazing couldn't do enough for you. They were all so friendly and made our stay so enjoyable

Some rooms have pools that you pay extra for but please be aware if you pay for 1 the hotel should be opposite way round because the sun hits the door going into the room and doesn’t really hit the pools to warm them enough to use

When i booked this hotel it was because weve never been to Crete but id heard of Stalis so decided to try it and wasn’t disappointed, the only thing i would say is before you book check if your actually in hotel grounds or in the annexe, because if your in the annexe its about 100 yards up the road from the main hotel

Just come back from 10 days staying here, lovely hotel brilliantly placed facing sea, the food was amazing and catered to all countries, while we was there it was mainly Germans and Latvians but we didn’t have any issues about it, everyone was friendly enough

Anyone visiting this hotel will not be disappointed. Food good location excellent,Cocktails /drinks really good. Hopefully will be returning in a couple of yrs

Georgia and Eirini in particular. The entertainment was mostly good and suited our boys. The kids pool wasn't huge and slides basic, but just right for us, we often had whole pool to ourselves

This is my 4th visit to Creta Palace, my husband went many times, throughout his teens and early adulthood. We have two children, at the time of travel were 5 and 8. We have visited Creta Palace in 2022, 2023 and 2025

There are members of staff who have been at Creta Palace since my husband was a teenager (he's now 42!!) so you really get the family feel, they take so much pride in their work and it comes across

The salad choices are immense - so good that you can have this as a main meal if you wish - I certainly did! For Lunch, the Brasserie and Beach bar are brilliant

So friendly, professional and immaculate. You are never left waiting and nothing is a problem. The food has always been very good but improved in 2025

We spent more time this year in the beach bar and no words can describe the atmosphere here. Everything about it, the view, the decor, the ambiance

Excellent resort and facilities. Great selection of food, very clean rooms, tidy pool areas. Very friendly and accommodating staff from the reception to the dining areas. An excellent resort to relax in comfort

Really good 5 star hotel: large pools, excellent food, lot of nice personel, clean, no noise around a pool like in Turkey so you can really relax

We had an amazing stay. Everything was great - the staff were very friendly, the room and hotel was super clean, and the food was tasty as well. We can't complain and will return.

I had a wonderful time at the hotel! I loved the spa, the pool and had the best night sleeps! It is a shame that the main restaurant does not serve a real espresso from ground coffee beans as it would have been nice to enjoy a good cup of coffee with the wonderful breakfast, but despite this, I will happily return to the hotel

Fantastic room and stay in a private pool suite in the Residences. Amazing meals in local restaurants!

This makes it hard for vegans, people with allergies etc, I am sure they could do a little better on this!
