Stella Maria in Malia

Our stay was very lovely and convenient as the hotel was at a perfect distance from all the shops, beach and Malia strip. The workers were all kind and hospitable. The atmosphere of the hotel was good and nice for relaxing.

Overall an amazing stay for me and my friend. The location is great and convenient walking distance to the beach. Extremely friendly staff who made my stay even better and accommodated our needs. Thankyou very much, look forward to seeing you soon!

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive – always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their warm and professional attitude created a truly personal and relaxed atmosphere.

A very special thank-you goes to Stella, the manager – she is absolutely wonderful! Always cheerful, kind, and full of positive energy. You can really feel that she cares deeply about her guests and her hotel.
And we can’t say enough good things about Diana, the bartender – she is simply amazing! Warm, fun, and always in a great mood – she made every visit to the bar a pleasure.

The hotel is extremely clean, with great attention to detail in every corner. Our room was beautifully decorated, very spacious and comfortable, and we felt at home right away. The room service was excellent – always on time, respectful, and reliable.

The pool area is stunning – a perfect place to relax, cool off, and enjoy the atmosphere. Whether we were swimming or just lying in the sun, it felt like a private little paradise.

The hotel’s location is also ideal: centrally located and just a short walk to the beach. Everything you need – restaurants, shops, and the sea – is right there.

Have just stayed here for a week and it it such a beautiful little hotel. The rooms are nothing fancy but they are modern and very clean and have everything you need, plus I'm not the sort of person to spend my holiday in my room so never particularly fussy about rooms. This hotels biggest attraction is the friendly staff, the location AND the outside space. What they have done with the little space they have around the beautiful pool area is amazing. Such a clean and relaxing space. Would 100% stay here again .

Hello, I'm Alex. I heartily recommend this hotel. This year I organized my wedding in Malia, and all my guests were accommodated at Maria's hotel. Everything was excellent, I started stressing Maria a year before the wedding to make sure my guests wouldn't sleep on the beach. Before the wedding day we organized a small party at the party, Maria helped us with food and drinks, everything was perfect. We stayed for 2 weeks, during which time we were always greeted with smiles by the hotel staff. Both Maria and the staff are wonderful people who made our dream come true. By the way, if you want to organize a wedding, don't hesitate to contact me 😂

It was a nice stay. The outdoor area with the pool is very nice. Good location and you can quickly walk to the beach and the party street. Staff is friendly. Rooms are OK but cleanliness could be a bit better. What is really annoying is that you have to pay an extra €8 per day for the air conditioning, which is not mentioned anywhere beforehand. I have never experienced anything like that anywhere else.

This a good little hotel, not a tourist factory with thousands people. The team and management are very nice and provide good service. Swimming pool is very pleasant without any chemical products but very clean. Cleaning of the room can be done each day including Sunday up to 2PM (except the check-out day), for our part, we requested only each 3 days.There is a lot of flowers, plants and a tall cactus. Sun beds around the pool are various, you have some with Umbrella, other without if you want sun, some have mattress, other just to stay after swimming. There is a correct AC and WIFI. Guests are pleasant: young people, families, from many countries. For sure, I recommend it for travelers who need something with correct prices and at human size. You have many restaurants and bar all around or you can buy drinks or food in each mini market around. Just before the Mc Donald's when you turn right at Malia main church, you have a small super market with cheapest prices and very quality of products (vegetables, fruits, drinks, yogurts ...) Single negative point, the area is noisy up to 2AM, especially in the streets because Malia is a small town but with several clubs and many bars. But if you close the windows put a small amount of AC, you will pass a very good night. Maria the manager is adorable and she helped us on everything we asked for. Cleaning personnel is also very helpful, and the is a very serious person to keep track during the night. For sur I return there when I come back to Crete.

I stayed 15 days in this hotel and I greatly appreciated the welcome, the smiles.... The swimming pool is very pleasant, close to everything, I highly recommend it, far from hotels where there are 1500 people.. This hotel is perfect.
