I went there on two occasions this year because I felt comfortable with the room. We assume that the hotel is very minimal but the location is very deserving, close to the beach and the various services it offers. I cannot give more than 3 stars because the booking times are only in the morning (I called one afternoon for the next day and was told to try the next morning at 8) and because as a hotel...

I would describe this hotel as quirky. Old building and a nice garden with very modern buildings added; some stylish decor in the entrance of the old hotel and perhaps the garden, but in other areas on the ground floor and in our room, I did not love the colour scheme or furniture, or the use of curtains instead of cupboard doors. Great location, very nice Ideal location for families in particular, just a stone's throw from the historic center (restaurants, bars, beach). The staff is really friendly, always there to answer your questions. The room was very spacious, but the mattress was much too soft, and there was a "fridge" in the room, but it barely cooled down.

Hotel Medusa Splendid is an excellent choice in Lignano. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic and very diverse, the pool area is great, and there’s free parking available. Everything is clean, and the rooms offer views either of the center or the pool. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach. I honestly have nothing negative to say. I’ve been coming to this hotel for 2 years now...

Very friendly staff, excellent service, great and varied food, including vegetarian. The rooms are cleaned daily. We enjoyed full pension/full board - the personel is flexible and understands if the tourists are late for dinner or lunch.:)

It was close to the water, which is nice. It loud when the windows are not closed. Not convenient to get dropped off by car. Over all I would stay here again. I recommend you have a translation app to help if you don't speak any Italian. Great for the price.

Great location. Hower there are some problems: nobody at reception on arrival, check-in guy walks around rooms pointing at things like "toilet", must hand key in. I was in Trieste for the Immaculate Conception weekend with my family. From the central station it is easily reachable with a walk. Hotel is in a great location for visiting the centre. Very clean, large rooms, normal but good breakfast with the possibility of having something more on request. If I were to return to Trieste I would stay in this hotel again!

The hotel is in a very central location, very convenient for the event we attended in the city. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were large and recently renovated, and there was the right amount of attention to our needs.

As always, it’s a pleasure to stay in Grado. Everything was very nice, but my kids found the beds rather uncomfortable — they were too hard. looking forward to coming back soon.

The apartments were great. Super clean and spacious, also excellent location. But the best part was the service! Outstanding hospitality and super helpful. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic location, rooms and service by Nicola. Lots of great recommendations and help with reservations of beach chairs and restaurants. The apartment has everything needed and is very close to the beach, restaurants, gelaterias, etc.

Great family set-up The apartment was well maintained and stocked with equipment for cooking. The space was good for a family to spread out. The location is close to everything. Management was super helpful and friendly. If driving, finding it can be a little tricky given the small streets and pedestrian zones, so get clear directions in advance and not just the map on the phone.

For us it was perfectly fine. The room was climatized and clean. The downtown was really close. The crew was freindly and helpful.

We stayed here for three days at the beginning and end of a cycling event. The family that run this and staff are very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are quirky with different furniture in each. The breakfast selection is fantastic. If you intend to do some cycling this is a great choice as they also have a garage to store the bikes and their own to hire. I would definitely go back.

Amazing family-run hotel, made us feel right at home, cozy-feeling even though it’s not a small hotel. The breakfast was incredible with many options from seafood to cold-cuts to eggs to fruit and a huge selection of deserts.

Spacious quadruple room, the way the spaces are arranged and organized makes it clear that the rooms have undergone renovations, it's a shame that the carpet was not removed during these interventions. Stayed at this property as part of an organized school trip. The room was quite comfortable, and the buffet was decent. It's a shame there were other school groups there, which made it noisier. Another downside is the distance from the city center, which requires transportation.

Ok for 1 night. It's just small and basic. Corridors are small, reception is small, breakfast room is small, bathroom was big but shower was tiny. No luggage storage room, had to leave bags underneath a table in full view of every guest while we went out after checkout. It's also further from the train station than you think. About 15 min walk, along narrow footpaths. Quite tough with lots of luggage

It was a very nice stay! The beach was very near and the staff was very friendly. Also the interior was modern and nice. The pool was good as well. Parking spot was an issue as there wasn’t enough for all hotel guests. Also the walls between the rooms has been very thin so it was noisy sometimes.

Very good breakfast and very comfortable room and bed. We did not have in the room bathrobes, but they provided us upon request . Very challenging with parking. Was not very clear in the reservation how to proceed with the parking. They have a valet parking service, but you need to pay 30 EUR.

Well situated next to the highway, beautiful scenery, nice and clean hotel and room also great. Diner on the outside patio was great and breakfast was good. There is nothing wrong with this hotel so I would recommend it to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!

All in all it was okay. We didn’t miss anything, only the receptionist was somewhat chilled and the waiters in the restaurant were plainly rude. Maybe they all had a bad day, who knows.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riva Palace. It’s in a very quiet area with a great lagoon view and short walk to the beach. They offer beach passes ($30 Eu); free bikes are available.

My wife and I and our 2 dogs had a really good time, the hotel is located 100m as the crow flies from the free dog beach where, unlike many other places, dogs can bathe. We took advantage of the hot tub on the roof every night just before sunset, available to customers for free. Recommended place and where we will return

The staff was very nice, the rooms very clean and the location not far from the beach. Only the breakfast could be more modern and with options for “no gluten” and vegan.

Location was as described (Lignano Sabbiadoro can be reached by a bus - bus stop not far from the hotel) Everyone was nice and spoke at least English and Italian however we booked breakfast at the hotel and refills took a long time. We had a two person room, the bathroom was a bit old and the door didn’t close perfectly, the bed was too hard for our taste but everything was clean.

Booked this hotel on night before a cruise from Trieste. The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable. The room lacked usb sockets. Everyone has smart phones now. In terms of value,the hotel rated very well. The reception staff were friendly and excellent. They arranged a meal for us at a nearby restaurant this saved our time in exploring and taking pot luck.

The room was outdated and the soundproofing was poor; I could hear the toilet flushing next door. The breakfast wasn't very varied. However, the service was friendly and the location was good. I'm not sure why hotels in this city are generally expensive.

The structure is new and is in a good position in relation to the center and the station, the area is quiet. The breakfast is a bit basic but quite complete. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and available in relation to requests.
