A pure European old-money style hotel, a niche high-end hotel group, the restaurant is very photogenic, the rooms are large, the facilities are average, there are very few Chinese people staying here, mostly old-money Europeans and Americans, it is not far from the main attractions, very convenient, quiet in the hustle and bustle!

I liked the hotel's decor, the location was convenient, and the service was excellent. However, I was woken up by mosquito bites in the room and had to swat them away in the middle of the night, which disrupted my sleep. I suggest adding an electronic mosquito killer. Also, while the service was good, there were too many additional charges; they even charged extra for escorting guests to their rooms

This is a very old-fashioned hotel, comparable to the Portman Hotel in Shanghai. Frankly indifferent hotel with generally efficient staff but who generally lack any personality. Buffet is adequate but uninspiring; house wine rancid, slow to clear tables and crockery too frequently unclean. Brilliant hotel, the room was big and had a lovely view from the balcony. Meals were all delicious and staff were great. Only problem was how it was on the side of a hill and quite secluded. Coach ran regularly to Cefalù (the nearby town) which solved this problem. Swimming pool was FREEZING!!

Such a beautiful hotel, the staff here are incredibly friendly and hospitable, it is more aimed towards Italian customers which is perfect to immerse yourself in the culture. The ease of which everything can be accessed and enjoyed at the GranSerena is its main pulling factor. Its location gained only 4 stars as it is one of many Italian resorts which is difficult to navigate onto a main route, but then 5 stars would be applicable because it has situated itself next to a fine Italian beach.

Newly renovated and honestly super good value of money for the room quality under Marriott name in Europe. Great day at this hotel, rooms were very clean and comfortable. They offer affordable shuttles to different city center destinations. Or they would help us call a taxi and it was always fast. Situated in between central Rome and the airport outside pool is really nice. The water is very cold though. We used the inside spa, which was very relaxing and nice.

The hotel's amenities are decent, and the room itself is quite spacious. The lobby has a nice waiting area, which was convenient for relaxing after check-out while waiting for my flight. However: 1. The room was large, a rarity in Europe. I slept very comfortably, the breakfast was generous, and the service was very nice. The minibar was restocked daily. The Vatican is a 15-minute drive away, so transportation is quite convenient. There are no shops or restaurants nearby, but taxis are readily available. The hotel service was great, and my friend was very satisfied. Even though there were a few minor hiccups along the way, everything was resolved perfectly in the end. The only downside was a problem with the bathroom floor drain, which I recommend getting checked out.

The rooms are quite large, comfort, clean and cosy decorated. Beds are sufficiently comfortable and sized. Everything was well prepared and clean. Staff are very friendly and professional. They are multilinguals and can communicate easily. Recommended for all kind of visits and could be for singles, groups and/or families.
