Our friends were given a room, but later on got moved to another room because the hotel wanted to free up their larger rooms with bigger beds and gave our friends the smaller rooms with single beds (our friends each booked individual rooms). This would have been fine if the smaller rooms were given to them from the start, but don't inconvenience them a day later because your staff were too incompetent to organize the more appropriately sized rooms for them from the beginning. Also, reception didn't greet you as you walked in, or say 'have a good day' as you walked out, or even just say hello to let you know that they're there for you, the paying customer. One of the ladies that worked in reception during the evening was fine though, she was friendly and helpful (I forgot her name), but not the others. Also, for breakfast, we had to go to the next building, which wasn't too far away, but just further added to the inconvenience.

We came first time to rome and this place makes you feel so at home thanks to Andrea he was so accommodating and welcoming
It's important to come to unknown country and to get such a nice quite hotel out the way
We got taxi or bus to city great place amazing shopping centre nearby the staff were so accommodating.
Breakfast was good and we were overall happy

The breakfast had a large variety of authentic Italian dishes. The people working were very helpful in figuring out the day’s itinerary. The room was comfortable with an AC made the room perfect temperature. They ordered a taxi for us and gave us breakfast to go when we were in hurry.

The room is clean and comfortable and have all needed amenities. The breakfast is great and with a lot of options. The hotel is far from the center area but bus station is located directly beside the hotel.

Great hotel with busstop on the street! The rooms are luxury and nice bathroom. Only the airco doesn’t worked very well for me. But the breakfast and other stuff was really nice!

The old hotel annex is quiet
There is a refrigerator in the room without a coffee pot
There is a ironing board but no iron
The facilities are not 4 stars
There is a parking lot and the breakfast was good

The hotel was very nice, and so was the staff. The restaurant was top-notch and reasonably priced. The only downside is the location, a bit far from the city center if you're not driving, as the buses don't work very well in Rome. And getting from the airport to the hotel was an odyssey. But everything else was 10/10.

Me and my friend didn't put a note on booking that we would like a room with separate beds so when we came, although we should get a room with one king size bed, Michael on the reception made some calls and he managed to arrange that we get a room with two separate beds, once again thank you Michael. Room was clean, there is a restaurant in the building. Nice solution for someone coming to Rome by car because it has a parking lot, it's easy accesible from the highway, you don't have to worry about Rome ZTL zones and if you want to go by car to city center there is a fast road by which you can go towards Rome center. And if you want to attend Catholic Mass there is a church close to hotel. All in all, nice experience, thank you hotel La Giocca.
