Reviews
I have never been more disappointed with a hotel in my life. It’s obvious they are trying to make their hotel look upscale, but putting faux suede on everything, including the walls is not the way to do that. It was also very dark.
The mini split air conditioning was poorly located and blew, when it blew, only into the shower. And don’t get me started on the shower. Huge rain shower, zero water pressure. It literally felt like I was in a light spring shower. For me, who is bald, it wasn’t horrible. For my wife who has long thick hair… it was useless. She literally ran out of hot water before she could rinse her hair.
But back to the AC… it goes down to 16c but the fan barely pushed out any air. The only time you feel it is when you’re standing directly below it. To say that our evening was uncomfortably hot is an understatement. I don’t think it got below 80f deg in my room.
Adding to the uncomfortable experience was a bed that might have been only slightly less forgiving than concrete. Don’t get me wrong, I love a firm mattress… this was not that. This was like sleeping on a table.
All of this combined with stupid little things that should have been a no brainer like : hooks for towels, a tray for shower supplies, a mini fridge that actually got cold and a phone that wouldn’t come unplugged whenever it got bumped, has convinced me that this is a “hotel” that I will never go back to.
When I raised my concerns with the reception at 3:30 am the man who answered apologized and said they would try to find me a new room that had a more comfortable bed. Fast forward to 2pm that afternoon and no one had even followed up. It was so bad we booked at a Marriott and left two days early to finish our stay at a hotel we could count on.
When we informed them we were leaving, EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NO REFUND REQUEST, they got angry with us and acted like they were the injured party.
In short: if I could give them a negative stars I would. Do not stay here.
The room as such isnt very spaicious..but very elegant and good for couple.
Excellent location, next to spanish steps
My room is literally 3 feet from the reception and 2 feet from the "breakfast area", and I can hear everything the staff said from my room.
The photos and the real thing are totally different, it is a total scam. When I enter the room, the only feeling I have is that it is an hourly love hotel for people to bring hooker to.
Air condition is pathetic, we turned on the lowest temperature and highest speed but the room was still stuffy and hot, I couldn't even sleep.
AVOID THIS PLACE.
