towels, tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge (with optional mini-bar), a television and a bathroom - with an excellent free standing bath tub in the centre of the bedroom
Perhaps my biggest gripe with the hotel was the disappointing view from the room. A ‘Viminale View’ it most certainly was not. Interestingly, room number 1 was the only room on the wrong side of the building
All others, including cheaper standard rooms, had the all-important Viminale view. In fact, not from anywhere in the hotel could we see the Viminale, since the reception area too was without any windows
The service was friendly and efficient and we were quickly shown to our room - that being a ‘deluxe’ room at the end of a corridor. Room number 1 was to be our home for four nights
Our two windows looked out onto a gutter on one side and an adjacent building on the other. We paid a little extra for breakfast, which was of a simple but acceptable standard
Given the size of the hotel with just 10 rooms, an extravagant buffet was not expected. More a continental selection, there was enough to keep us going until lunchtime
Décor, location, and an authentic dining experience all complement the hotel, but what’s most noteworthy is our host, Natalia, and staff. They were very respectful and would check in on us without being intrusive
Natalia also arranged our private transportation to and from the airport. Their hospitality made the stay most memorable, and we would not hesitate to revisit wherever we’re in the neighborhood
It’s immaculate! Taxis, Metropolitan station, Big Bus, and ‘big name’ stores are all within walking distance and are easily accessible from the accommodations
Natalia made several recommended choices, and it did not disappoint. Walking in the alley, sitting on the patio streets eating, as vehicle and pedestrians hurriedly pass by, made the experience very ‘European’
Truth be told! One of Rome’s many passions and pastimes is food. Therefore, there are endless opportunities for an authentic, Italian dining experience
I had a wonderful stay at Rome55. Natalia made me feel at home and was always available If I needed anything. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here on our last night in Italy. Location was walkable from train station. Room was modest but clean and quiet. Staff was helpful and arranged a cab to the airport for us which worked out great
We were at the back of the building and it's a quiet street. Some great little bars, pubs, restaurants close by. A short bus ride (12 min) to Termini station. We enjoyed our stay very much
it was a good experience, very nice staff, so convenient, easy transportation. Highly recommend!
My daughter and I stayed in this very quaint clean and hospitable hotel in September 2017. The staff here were very welcoming and made us feel very safe as it was our first trip overseas
We highly recommend Hotel Kent even if a little out of central Romes attraction bus access was close. Very quiet at night for us to sleep for the busy days ahead
Stayed 4 nights, nice breakfast, decent staff, clean, good quality price ratio, also there are decent bar and restaurants in the walking distance...
The property should have viewed this issue as seriously as we did and offered to compensate us something - even just paying for our SIM card would have shown that they understood the seriousness of the missing wifi for foreign visitors
Wonderful central but quiet location. Comfortable room. Friendly staff with very good breakfast. I will be back.
We were both surprised at how the Hotel did not offer to compensate us in any way for the lack of wifi - one of the conditions of booking the property was that we needed wifi
We had to find wifi at a cafe in order to purchase an Italian SIM card to get connected, but this SIM card did not work while in our room
It was a major disappointment to not be able to communicate with our kids while in our Hotel
The staff was very helpful! Although finding this was difficult because it is truly “off the beaten track” it is perfectly located to be able to walk to almost all of the important sites in Rome!

Plenty of nice restaurants and rooftop bars close by. All staff we encountered at the hotel were friendly and attentive. Our room was cleaned daily, freshly made bed and towels were done whilst we had breakfast
The staff and the rooms were superb. Travelled as a family of 5 in two rooms. Our breakfast was adequate and good. The staff where very friendly and acomodative of elderly family member
A couple of really good restaurants arount the hotel too. The biggest perk is the location
Collosiem and the spanish steps are anout 25 mins walk in almost straight line, Vatican 45 mins, but if you put a few coffee stops on the way, you can trully enjoy Rome
The breakfast was one of the best, great selection, and just a very sweet place. They delivered an iron and ironing board immediately and were always available on WhatsApp
I had a problem with my sink that was leaking and I forwarded it to the front office, and by the time I came back the problem was fixed and the bathroom was cleaned again for me

The rooms are very nice and most importantly they are clean and you get new towels every day. Overall I would recommend it and the location is very good and you are only blocks away from the Vatican City! good wifi
Great place to stay a few minutes walk away from downtown Rome! Nice staff, breakfast is simple but sufficient for me, super comfortable mattress and blankets and impeccable cleaning! Barbara was super kind and helped me with the bus to the airport (which stops a few blocks away and saves us significant money)
It’s a very good hotel and the workers are very nice and helpful. It has an elevator so you don’t have to worry about picking your bags to the upstairs rooms
The host was a delightful young man who gave us all the codes we'd need to get in and out as they do NOT have staff there at night. It's my understanding that they have a couple other floors of rooms as well
If we had known more about this "bargain", we'd have opted to stay here for the 4 nights on our return to Rome. Bottom line: There are no frills to this Inn, but it is safe, clean and very, very affordable
Spacious, fully stocked with everything we'd need. Mattress was comfortable as well. He gave us vouchers to a complimentary breakfast just up the street. Sweet cafe with lovely owners

Very nice room and swimming pool but too much mosquito when we were there
Near the metro, good room and bed, clean bathroom and there is a parking for 15€
The hotel itself is simple, the rooms are cleaned symbolically, the dust, as it was, for example, on the phone, remained there four days later
They changed towels, took out the trash and straightened the blanket on the bed - in fact, this was the cleaning
The metro is two steps close by, and you can go to the centre of Rome in few minutes. In the morning, not that you are in a hurry to clean the room and leave you to lift comfortably without any hurry to clean up

On my departure day the following day (june 1), i was told by hotel receptionist the cost would be 18 euros. About hotel: my room was 68 euros (incl tax). Small room and ok for one person
I recently stayed at a hotel where the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They truly went out of their way to make my experience enjoyable, which I greatly appreciated
Around 0700 a spanish lady who works at this dining came but pretended she did not want to help me make call for the taxi I asked her whether she can call the taxi but she pretenteded she didn't understand
Hotel was ok bathroom needs updating but it was clean, never actually saw a member of staff you check in over WhatsApp 🙄 but the service was good asked for extra pillows and they were delivered the next day to the room but this is also a downfall of no actual staff as had to wait for the room hostess to come in the next day - I thought I had booked a room with a terrace which I had but the terrace...
While I understand that space can be limited in some hotels, I was hoping for a bit more comfort during my stay
Very enjoyable stay at the hotel. From the moment you entered the hotel, the staff was very helpful and friendly. Refreshments in the room, water and a well-kept terrace with a beautiful view of the surroundings
Meanwhile, the double bed was incredibly hard, so we had to put blankets beneath the covers to make it okay to sleep on. That aside, the location is fantastic, step outside and you got a straight view to the colusseum
My review is not going to be original but we have mixed feelings about the hotel. Strong points: - without a doubt, the location. Colosseum at the end of the street followed by the Forum and Palatine Hill
Area is very hilly, get a taxi if you have mobility issues. 10 minute walk from nearest metro. Room was a decent size for a 3 star. Rooms cleaned every day with clean towels
Shower is very small, not a lot of room to move about but fine for a quick shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar area is pretty non existent, don’t even think it was open during my stay
Trevi Fountain 15 min Pantheon 20 min Castel Sant'Angelo 30 min Vatican 50 min - the rooftop terrace - the room is standard size, however be careful the elevator is very small and the shower too
- the room not very clean, towels and sheets unchanged during the week, dust on the toilet paper holder. The cleaning is done very summarily
Hotel Giolli Nazionale in Rome offered an overall pleasant experience. The location is ideal, just about 1 km from Roma Termini Station, making it easy to get to and from the airport or other parts of the city
However, there was one issue that left us a bit frustrated. Upon check-in, we were asked to provide our credit card details to block a security deposit. This was not communicated beforehand, and it came as a surprise
Despite this, our overall experience at Hotel Giolli Nazionale was positive. The great location, comfortable accommodations, and friendly service outweighed the inconvenience of the security deposit procedure
Additionally, it’s within walking distance to many of Rome’s major tourist attractions, including the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps, which made sightseeing incredibly convenient
The hotel itself is charming, with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, providing all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay
The breakfast buffet was decent, offering a good variety of options to start the day. The common areas were also well-kept, with a cozy lobby to relax in after a day of exploring
The only thing I did struggle with, was the pillows, they are quite thin, for most of my stay I was exhausted so I fell asleep easily, but if it wouldn’t have been for that I would not have been able to sleep
A good hotel within walking distance of the sights, 10-15 minutes to the fountain, 10-15 minutes to the Spanish Steps, 10-15 minutes to the Pantheon!) Of course, there is not enough space, but we only came there to sleep) The soundproofing is bad, but you can endure it for a couple of days) Very atmospheric, the elevator is cool, another era!)
Also the receptionist was super helpful, from recommending places to how to get there and even giving us an outlet adapter! Staying here definitely adds to the Rome experience
But I mean you are mainly going to be exploring the city, which makes this hotel pure perfection. It’s located close to everything
Which makes it easier if you need to head back to the hotel for whatever you might need, plus there’s great food nearby
So if you are the type of person that needs a thicker pillow I would try and get one from reception

The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. Could even drop off my language at the hotel before the check in time. The room was cleaned every day
I had a wonderful experience staying at Al Viminale. This place was close to Rome Termini, about 10 mins away. Also super close to all other attractions
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! We had forgotten our passports in the safe and the staff went above and beyond to contact us as soon as they discovered this and arrange for their delivery to us.
Real good experience the room was nice the elevator was really neat as its so old and the marble staircase and railing was beautiful. The old Rome feel was even better
Clean room, staff was nice and helpful, great view of the opera house, plenty of delicious restaurants around the block
Great hotel. Very close to Termini and eaay to ealk everywhere! Room was perfect, clean and exactly what is needed.

Giulia, the owner is so welcoming and accommodating, her hospitality and kindness was fresh air after a long flight! Most communication and instructions were remote and it’s as if we had seen her the entire time! Our room was clean, quiet, and perfect for our stay! The hotel is on a nice safe quiet street not too far at all from anything you want to see in Rome! Definitely a home away from home and...
The location was ideal, close to everything without being on a busy street. Giulia clearly cares about the well-being of her guests, checking in to see if anything is needed and always friendly, never intrusive
This room was very comfortable and close to many sights. We were there on a mother-daughter trip and it was a safe a quiet neighborhood. Guilia had great recommendations for food and places to visit
My wife and really enjoyed our stay. Before we arrived Guila was so helpful in suggesting activities and sites to see in Rome. She also gave us some excellent dining and gelato options in the area
The room was clean, included mini fridge, modern bathroom and service and help from the owner was personal and friendly. she was always on hand to give lots of advice and recommendations
We’ve never stayed at a place with a host as helpful and friendly as Guila. The room was clean and very nicely decorated. The room was stocked with coffee, snacks, water and tea

I stayed in room 1. The room and bathroom are spacious. The entire property was very clean. Great location, very close to the Metro station. The owner was very friendly and available for questions.
The Piazza Del Popolo is beautiful and you can access most tourist attractions by foot (or taxi)! Being a family of 4, we booked a family room and whilst it was comfortable enough, we didn’t have enough space given we were here for 5 nights
The breakfast provided is simple but you are given a shelf in the fridge which you can stock with your own things from local supermarkets. Just watch that other guests don’t help themselves to your things
Having this app made our lives much easier to get to the attractions that are further afield as well as the Termini for our outbound coach back to the airport!
The toilet makes a loud banging noise too when flushed!!
One big tip for anyone visiting, download and use the ‘Freenow’ app for booking taxis
we experienced this :-( The room itself was more than adequate but it is dated, as is the en suite bathroom

Fantastic Place Out of the Way!
What a fantastic stay! Host provided us with places to go, recommendations and was just absolutely amazing! We had a fantastic stay! The area was great and safe, and literally right next to the Metro stop and bus stops
I had a great time, the place, newly renovated, the breakfast in the bar was excellent and I reached quickly by metro to the historic centre in a few minutes!thanks to the manager:a friendly and attentive to my needs
I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and convenient place to stay. I look forward to coming back!
The location was incredibly convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and public transportation, making it easy to explore the area
To secure the best b&b in the area. Competitive prices and great courtesy of the owner Emanuele!
If we visit Rome again we will 10000% be staying here again! Would recommend to anyone!

The location is excellent, close to the train and subway stations, and conveniently located opposite a post office and supermarket. Souvenirs can be purchased at the shopping mall near the train station
The location is very close to the train station and it's convenient for shopping. But there was a power outage that day, which was quite miserable. I had to carry three suitcases up to the fifth floor
very clean, room smells good. excellent location for going to any where. Front desk people are extrimly nice, provided extra help in printing out our train tickets. Strongly recommend this hotel!
I like the place. It’s near the station. The room is great. The staff is cute and nice. I cannot ask for more
Great accommodation! Accessible and convenient! Thank you!
If I was in my twenties I would relish the challenge of carrying 3 x 25 kgs bags up 8 flights of stairs. In my fifties (and fit playing 3 or more games of tennis every week and gym work) it is horrendous
The property is great value and staff very friendly. The problem is that the lift doesn't work. It says 4th floor but with the amazing high ceiling in Italy it's more the 8th floor
The Elevator doesn't work and apparently hasn't for years, but they will let you know right before your trip. I didn't see the message in time to cancel
If we didn't have a lot of heavy luggage, this would not have mattered so much. I just wish I had found out about the elevator sooner
Nice staff , ok cheap accommodation but pay a bit more unless you are into Iron Man's

General comment : it's a family^^
Area needs microwave, better bed / pillows. Area is very noisy and the upstairs floor was very noisy during our stay. The advertisement said it was all inclusive to include meals and they were not included
One down side is it’s so noisy from above … if you’re on the lowest floor you have to prepare yourself for a lot of noise coming from the rooms above even when they walk around
Perfect place to stay at Rome. Clean, confortable and near all the must see in the city. Victoria is an amazing host and take care of everything you need. Totally recomended.
Very spacious and amazing set up! Location is more than perfect!
Great location, very comfortable property. Street noisy and busy therefore it is messy. No reflection on property.

The room itself was absolutely wonderful, eqipped with a small fridge, aircondition, a safe box, a great bathroom with a rain shower and best of all, a charming little balcony where you could soak up the sun!
The breakfast had a wide range of hot and cold options, to make sure you had a good meal before heading out to explore Rome
The location right around the corner from the Lepanto metro station is absolutely perfect, and gives you a nice and easy connection to all the wonders of the city, while also giving you the comfort of a peaceful and quiet neighborhood
This could be as short as "incredible place, worth every cent"!
But just to specify on a couple of things:
The staff was very welcoming and helpful during our 4-night stay
The staff were absolutely outstanding: incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. I can only speak positively about this beautiful experience
Beautiful Hotel in a nice and quiet neghbourhood. The hotel was a 15-20 min walk to the vatican. It was 2-3 min walk to the metro. It was away from the loud tourist crowds and tourist prices for food/coffee
Short break booked here in July 2024. Great little hotel, rooms were small but clean and serviced daily. Problem with the shower was fixed as soon as mentioned and staff were all super friendly and helpful
Stayed 2 nights
The location is good. (next to train station)
The staffs are friendly and helpful.
The room size is accommodating.
They changed towel on daily basis.
The AC / heater is not working. only minus point.
The facilities seem a bit old, but I stayed comfortably. Above all, I really liked that it was so close to the station.
The location was perfect, right outside Termini Station
I booked it just to sleep, but it was spacious and comfortable.
But it was operated in conjunction with a place called Tiche?
They also provide luggage storage (for a fee) and it was so-so.
The bed is very thin, but the transportation is convenient
But room cleanliness is not good, blanket is old, there's bug's bit on my daughter's face at midnight on 2nd night and 3rd night, i think it's from pillow, anyway I will not stay there again
