Peter's Square Christmas and Immaculate Conception special events including unveiling of an incredible nativity designed by Maestro Franco Artese; walkable to other neighborhoods; a large variety of restaurants and shopping; so many other special Churches, historic sites and museums easily reached by walking or taxi
The longest walk, to the Colosseum, was only 40 minutes, and very pleasant walking in the shade by the river. We had a brilliant 4 days/nights and were so pleased we had booked the Palazzo Cardinal Cesi
One of the best hotels in Rome; close to the city and steps away from the Vatican. The staff and the hotel were wonderful. I haven’t seen customer service like this in decades. You’ll not go wrong booking a room!
A unique and solid place to stay near the Vatican
This is my favorite place to stay in Rome. Right next to Saint Peter’s Square, clean rooms, very friendly staff, and breakfast is perfect
It is very close to the Vatican Cathedral, which is very suitable for taking photos and traveling. The hotel staff is also very hospitable. I will book here next time I come to Rome
Our bedroom even had a painted ceiling in a similar style to those in many of the churches. The management could not have been more pleasant and helpful throughout our stay

The bathroom and bedroom were very spacious and updated. The staff had excellent hospitality, location is close to everything (walking or by taxi), and overall experience was exceptional
Perfect location, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, unending generosity. The breakfast buffet is spectacular and there’s so much attention to detail throughout the hotel
The hotel is located near popular sightseeing places. There a couple of decent restaurants around which are good to have a dinner in the evening. The rooms at the hotel are clean and new, with smart TV
You couldn’t be in a better location for getting to all the best parts of Rome
Great location. Beautiful hotel with attention to detail. Located in the centre of the Jewish ghetto with many kosher restaurants a couple steps away.
The room was in a corner on the ground floor, a semi-basement. When I tried to change rooms, I was told it was fully booked and the only available room was the next day

Very nice as it is located in a historic building in the capital. Rooms are clean and sufficiently spacious, functional bathroom. Close to the centre and to the auditorium parco della musica is easily accessible on foot
Absolutely stunning place to stay, close to all main attractions, clean, great comfy bed , with beautiful balcony, great service, will definitely recommend, thanks Eduardo for your kindness.
The service is good, but my single room was really tiny. Also, the pillows and sheets had an unpleasant smell. It is a shame, because the location and appearance of the hotel are really nice
Good location, the closest hotel to the Olympic stadium, so it's great.
Best Western Hotel Astrid is located in Flaminio district, in a historic building that combines modern comfort with an exceptional view of St
Ideally located between Piazza del Popolo and Olympic Stadium, the hotel is situated in a small square overlooking Tiber River, just a stone's throw from Rome's historical centre

We also want to try close train station, but the time gaps between trains are not comfortable - you can wait for delayed train to the city centre long time. Not worry about towels or hair dryer - it's all here
The only real way to review this is to explain what this hotel is for. You will use this hotel to sleep only because it's literally the only thing it offers. No amenities, pool, entertainment or anything else
The hotel and room were impeccably clean, and the receptionist was extremely helpful in assisting with event bookings, facilitating early room entry if available, and providing vital information about the city, including popular tourist attractions and recommended restaurants
I stayed in 4 hotels during my trip to Italy and this was one of the best.
Coffee in the room, clean and quiet, available restaurant and includes breakfast.
Free wifi had a strong signal and the staff were very helpful.
9 day stay and zero complaints. Brilliant breakfasts, staff service, friendliness and cleanliness. Would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a high quality hotel with very easy walking access to central Rome
Great hotel, clean rooms, excellent breakfast, billiard table in the lobby, free Netflix account in rooms, 25 min walk from Vatican city, 15 min walk from metro station, all in all great stay in amazing city!

The hotel also have accessible swimming pool, a gym, a small spa. —features I didn’t expect at this level. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay
Peaceful atmosphere and relaxation. A decent pool, a restaurant with imported dishes, the polite and charming Greta, as well as all the friendly staff, contribute to a pleasant holiday.
I had some questions regarding places we wanted to go to within Rome centre, and staff at reception was amazing, showing me on the map and talking me through the whole experience to get to them
Breakfast was good great selection and reception staff booked us a taxi to take us to the airport really really good and I would recommend this hotel if you need to stay prior to flying
Great check-in experience and they ordered a taxi for us booked us a table in the restaurant downstairs which was excellent probably one of the nicest meals we’ve had on our holiday
For this area it is a very neat hotel. Decent breakfast and very pleasant staff. The area is not really appealing as there is a lot of garbage lying around

I’ve stayed here before and generally it’s a nice place and comfortable to stay. I subtract points only for the breakfast service, which charges 5 € (!) extra for fruit juice and serves terrible coffee
The breakfast lady is lovely, as are all the receptionists
We only stayed for one night but got a feel for it and we would definitely stay again and or recommend as a decent stay if on a budget or looking to save some money for other more important attractions during your visit to Rome
It's clean and the service is great. The location is also great, so it's a great place to come with friends. The staff are really friendly.
A quaint accommodation located on the outside of the touristic city areas. Great appearance driving in, best for those traveling with a vehicle. ( parking on property for €15 a night
Lovely house with lovely rooms.
Breakfast is okay but not extraordinarily.
Close to buses and Metro.

Far from the center bud I liked my stay in the newly renevated rooms very much, nice and clean pool and friendly staff
Are 4 years that I'm here, and very nice, the more I go there the more I want to go back, beautiful building, beautiful rooms imerse in the green and a beautiful swimming pool and persobale courteous
The Pool is great, unfortunately there is no wine at the Bar, the rooms fit and we have not heard of the highway
15 mins from airport
We were ambushed by taxi operators who made the planned journey by train appear difficult. Result 72 Euro taxi drive - suckers. Once here used train bus and metro all very busy but excellent value
A pleasant discovery: I found this hotel online based on reviews. Friendly staff, new and clean room, and a great location right off the ring road. A generous breakfast and a fair price. Highly recommended.
50 euros for ticket into Rome centre. Staff at hotel absolutely brilliant. Fridge but no coffee making facilities in rooms. They even provide free shuttle to nearest rail to start day off perfectly

The location was fantastic, very easy to wonder that part of the city of Rome. Walkable to the Vatican and Spanish Steps. Also, great restaurants in the area. So glad our travel advisor recommended this hotel
The staff was amazing to me! They went above the typical customer service to return a lost jacket to me. They were very communicative and helpful. Can't thank them enough for the extra attention
Location was great! Quieter than the hotel in Sorrento in the off season, but a close walk to amazing food and major attractions like the Trevi fountain. My family loved our time here and will be booking with them again.
We were so grateful they were able to accommodate us at the last minute after our flight cancellation and even upgraded our room at no extra charge. Location is extremely quiet but tons of restaurant options nearby
From the front desk staff, bellmen, bartenders, breakfast attendants, they all deserve a huge bravo!! Frontdesk checked us in early both stays and were always happy to assist with any questions or requests
We booked via British Airways and were upgraded from a junior suite to the largest full suite, by the lovely Marta, with four rooms two bathrooms. The gym is located on the 6th floor next to the terrace

Excellent staff, quite hotel, convenient location
Easy to get into centre by bus. Helpful staff. Breakfast was ok but go early!
They do offer breakfast from 7 to 10 A
Cleanliness, customer service and breakfast was amazing. Only wish there were more/ better toiletries and the shower was very small and tight
There was also a step into the bathroom which was a tripping hazard (our room was small to save money

Fantastic greeting by reception. Initial issue in that booked twin room but was made up as double. Staff sorted the room within 10 mins. Also our fridge didn't work but the staff sorted a new one quickly
We opted for breakfast, which was plentiful and decent for the price. The location is great, less than 10 mins walk to Termini station, 2 minutes from a metro stop, and a bus stop on the next street
We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Des Artistes. We booked two twin rooms four four nights. They were both well decorated, roomy and with everything you needed. Housekeeping came every day and kept everything spotless
Staff were friendly and helpful. There was some light construction noise, expect there are some room upgrades going on, but it was in the daytime and not disturbing. Would definitely stay again!
Just got back from a week's stay here and it was fantastic. Hotel is lovely, clean and comfortable. The shower was particularly excellent. Room has a fridge too which is really useful
The hotel itself is well situated from the station, just a five minute walk, and Metro B just on the next street for Colosseum trips

Shower good and plenty of hot water and towels. Breakfast good and evening meal. Lunch needs a more extensive range
Very well. The shuttle system to and from the hotel to the metro is very convenient. The rooms, the breakfast and the staff are very good.
A bit souless but I guess to be expected for a motel near the airport on a Sunday night.
The older chap on reception during the night shift very early on the Monday morning was quite friendly though.
An honest review will tell you this hotel is on the flight path to Ciampino airport. but that aside the place was great lovely pool comfortable rooms free shuttle bus to station or metro excellent food peroni was a bonus
The complex of this hotel is very nice and well-structured, the pool area with adjacent bar, where you can relax with a drink, imagining yourself on a tropical island
Just a 20 minute taxi ride from the Colleseum, this hotel is a nice option if you're looking for a unique place to stay. The room was small, but spacious for 2 of us. The pool is a nice place to relax

Buses run to the Colosseum and the Vatican (you need to walk a few hundred meters to the bus stop, and to buy tickets, walk a few hundred meters to the tobacco shop marked with a "T") and go to other areas
Had a great stay. The staff was what made the place special, Micah, Franco and Micheal went above and beyond to help make our visit to Italy special. Oh, and Fred, on the rooftop bar is a must for a night cap
The room was small, as was the bathroom shower; the facilities were quite outdated. The hotel was a bit far from the train station. Breakfast was simple but inexpensive.
It is the best location in Milan Central Station. The shower room is quite cramped, but it is a satisfactory accommodation for a solo male traveler.
The hotel is a 15-minute walk from Termini Station, close to the British Embassy, and in a relatively quiet area. There are several restaurants nearby, including a decent Chinese restaurant
Hotel Montecarlo
We were in Rome in May 2025 for 4 days, stayed at Hotel Montecarlo, really liked the location, walking distance to the Colosseum, we used a taxi to the Vatican, but if you want, you can walk in about 40 minutes, the entire center is within walking distance, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps

Great experience! Rooms were always Kept clean and nicely decorated. Good bathroom. They left candies cookies and other snacks everyday for us very welcoming. Really enjoyed our 4 nights here. Would defiantly recommend
We had a 3 night stay at the Barocco in Deluxe double rooms. Before to stay at this hotel, came to visit the different rooms and they were able to accommodate us in my preferred rooms
Their hospitality is 10/10 as they make sure you are taken care of and feel comfortable in every way. I had breakfast there every morning. Everything on the menu was really yummy and the perfect way to start my day
and the breakfast professional manager and team do a great fast job. On our last day, we did not have much time before to reach the airport and they served us very quickly our breakfast
My stay was absolutely wonderful. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The bed is so comfortable, I slept like a baby every night. The entire staff was very kind, accommodating, and helpful
Some rooms can be very small so book accordingly. We had a room on the first floor directly overlooking the piazza and it was incredibly quiet so don't let the busy piazza deter you

The room was huge, not too many guest, custom coffees made by the gentleman upstairs for breakfast! Super friendly staff! The shower in the middle of the room was not a problem at all! Again one of the biggest rooms in Rome for sure! Ac works great! Safe and beautiful place in Monti! Honestly would stay again here because everything was close including the metro! Not to mention some of the best fettuccine...
My wife and I have just stayed here for 3 nights and found the whole experience fantastic! The staff couldn't do enough for you, from the cleaner saying hello every time we saw him, the kitchen staff were very friendly and the breakfast was everything you wish for - and loads of it! The reception staff (esp Stefan) were so friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and spacious
The hotel is approx 20 mins walk from the train station and only 20 mins walk to the Pantheon and Trevi fountain, and just a quick 15mins walk tot he Coliseum which you see only 200 metres from the hotel! Please book with confidence!
They gave us good information for visits and transportation. The room is spacious, clean, very good beds. One less good point: we had a room facing the street and we had some noise of the bar next door
A nice hotel in the neighbourhood of major sights. The metro station is very close by but not on thr main road. A lot of nice restaurants and bars near by. The staff is very friendly and helpful
A well-located hotel just 2 minutes from the metro. Within a few minutes’ walk, we were at the Colosseum. There’s a bar in front, but from our room we didn’t hear any noise

Cozy and Affordable Stay at Hotel Marisa!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hotel Marisa offers a comfortable and budget-friendly option in a great location. The rooms are simple yet clean, providing all the essentials for a pleasant stay
Great place. Worked well for my family. Close to everything you need.
The hygiene was acceptable, but the floor tiles had scratches and the shower in the bathroom was outdated, with a wobbly connecting rod. The water pressure was strong, but the shower door didn't close properly
Since I didn't pass through the front desk when going out, I was a little concerned about security, but it was also nice not having to bother with anyone
The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is well-connected to local transport, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. A solid choice for travelers looking for a no-fuss, affordable stay
The soundproofing wasn't great, as I could hear the neighbors. The location was excellent, and the Western breakfast was standard, nothing special

OK, very good, Xuan is great,,, yes, it's very good to want to drink. Hahahahaha, I want to consult a lot of things. I sold it. Thank you sculptor for coming.
I was quite pleased with the hotel overall, as the service and facilities were excellent. The main downside was the location, with public transport links being over a 15-minute walk away
Despite this, I would still rate my experience at the hotel as good
The service at this hotel was quite mediocre, we did not feel very welcome, the check in was very fast but also quite hasty, the services of the structure were not explained to us, in the morning at 9 they knocked on our door probably because of the cleaning when check out was at 10
Service is not very helpful in night emergencies, there is no telephone in the room and there should be at least one telephone available in reception for customers if there is no one at reception at night for emergencies
30, luckily we were awake, the room overall was clean but I would recommend a renewal of the sliding doors of the shower as they are very precarious, as well as greater care for the bathroom furnishings and the mobility of the door, which did not close easily, on the other hand the code door locking system is very convenient as it does not require keys

Initially, they gave me a room with twin beds which I booked as a double and they changed the room to very noisy and full of dust but the next day the manager helped me to get better room
Big shout-out to the manager
The rooms are clean and spacious, the bathroom was large too! this is a rarity for Rome! Many hotels offer very tiny rooms but Gravina rooms have lots of space, standard size beds and everything you might need, like a fridge, teapot, etc
Our stay at Hotel Gravina San Pietro was fantastic. The room was beautiful, large and modern. The location was ideal, so close to the Basilica. You are looking at the dome from the rooftop patio
The food is good but not very diverse. The duvet is strange because it does not have a cover but only framed between two sheets, really clean and the towels are changed daily
Another small dissatisfaction is that the hotel does not have slippers, not even for a fee, so bring your own slippers from home if you do not want to buy slippers from the supermarket
In the end I can say that it is a 3-star hotel with a rating of 9

Great location near Termini Station. The room was calm, comfortable, and quiet with no noise issues. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but the breakfast needs improvement in terms of quality and variety.

5 Steps outside the front door and there’s the beautiful Pantheon looking at you. It’s 5mins walk from Trevi fountain, 10mins from Spanish steps. 5-10mins from streets and streets of famous Italian designer shops
We did not take it but this gesture was the first one that made us like this hotel very much! This hotel had everything we needed. It is very clean, the staff is beyond nice, it has beautiful decorations
When you want to drink it you just call reception and they bring up fresh ice. Roberto on the front desk was excellent. Incredibly professional, he was always willing to help in anyway he could
There’s also loads and loads of restaurants within a few steps. The hotel was lovely and clean, our room was tended to everyday. When we arrived there was a bottle of Prosecco in an ice bucket
100 % recommended! The restaurant to take breakfast in the mornings is clean and food is delicious, the woman in charge was so nice with us!! If I come back I will try to stay here

Friendly staff, extremely helpful. Clean, comfortable hotel. Would highly recommend. Was a little warm where aircon didn’t work very well but overall a fantastic experience
Transportation, cafes, shops, and attractions are all within walking distance. The rooms are small and rather modest, but everything is clean and tidy. The reception staff is very friendly
15 minute walk to Rome Termini and 10 minutes to nearest subway stations. In fact even the Coloseum is within walking distance (30 minutes). Nice friendly and helpful staff. A lovely hotel - ideal for a few days in Rome
From the Italian espresso, to the rooftop sitting area, we just were happy with the service. The breakfast was on point, simple but filling. Our room was clean, baby crib available when we needed it
The only downside is the noise, due to it's location (right neck to busy streets), but it wasn't loud enough that we couldn't sleep. More like traffic white noise?
Big shout-out for Fabio, who was a pleasure to meet!
