The front desk staff was warm and attentive, and their attitude was very good. They also arranged for us to check in early for free
Environment: The soundproofing was also poor. Facing the street, the noise of cars was noticeable at night. The only positive point was that it was close to the Colosseum
Located in the heart of Rome, the train station and scenic spots are all within walking distance, and there's a subway station right at the door. Overall, I don't think it's as bad as some of the negative reviews say
I chose this hotel as I was staying in Rome for one night as a stopover. Traveling alone was a bit worrying, but the front desk staff were very helpful and explained everything to me
There's a mini-market a short walk away, so it's a good idea to buy your water there, and there are similar stores near the tourist spots, so it shouldn't be a problem
Although the rooms are a bit old, they're spacious. This is a good hotel and worth staying in again
Shower water a bit weak and design a bit funny. We like the water dispenser at the lobby. Very convenient and can get sparkling water!
Location alright, very close to a metro station, a 10 mins walk to Rome Central
The bed was firm, the bathtub was deep, the towels were cozy
Also, we received a surpise gift from the hotel, which we never expected!
They made our honeymoon even better and we enjoyed our stay Rome so much. We will definitely stay this hotel, when we visit Rome again !!
Super friendly staff always ready to help. Called our room on the last day of our visit to offer a car, clean fresh spotless rooms every day, and when I asked for a drink a bartender appared with snacks
I had a very comfortable stay, and the breakfast was plentiful. The subway station is a short walk away, making it very convenient to get to Termini Station – you can even walk there with your luggage
Although just a short walk from Termini Station, it’s a whole different world. Castro Pratorio is the embassy district. Short walk to lots of restaurants, and just around the corner from the Metro

This is an older hotel, like most in Rome. The rooms are a good size, and the views are great because the hotel is at the top of the hill. The pool is nice, but the weather was too cold for us to use it
We arrived just in time to join the rooftop celebration for New Years! This was an unexpected surprise. The views of the fireworks were spectacular! The hotel is beautifully classic with some modern touches
Great location close enough even by walking distance ( for young people or people active , in shape) to St. We took taxi to other places drive 10-15min. Room was very clean, nice windows, open wide, even in the bathroom
The dining room is beautiful! Full breakfast with eggs, pastries, fruit, meats and cheeses, coffee and juices. Limited room service on certain days
Walking distance to everything in Trastevere. Breakfast, pool, air conditioning. Beautiful hotel and grounds.
Beuatiful old hotel with excellent service and a nice breakfast. On the top of the Giancolo hill but not to far from all the attractions . We will come back here .

Very cozy hotel, the room was always super clean, and the breakfast was delicious. It's also really close to the train and metro stations.
Plus, the room had been renovated, making it much cleaner and more modern than the previous photos showed. With plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, we had a very comfortable stay for four days
Very nice hotel. The location is very convenient : close to the center, public transportation and transit to the airport. Totally worth
The Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and other major Roman attractions were all within about a 15-minute walk
The issue occurred because a new shower tray had been installed, but it is a flat one that does no redirect water and no sealant had been applied so it would leak everywhere regardless of the angle of the showerhead, additionally there was no shower screen, only a curtain that hung approximately 25 cm above the floor and several centimetres beyond the shower tray, which failed to contain the water
Despite the inconvenience, I cooperated and even helped him clean the flooded floor. Later that morning, when I spoke to the day reception team, I was told that the shower screens were being installed on Monday

The location is excellent; the city center and Termini Station are easily accessible by public transportation. The breakfast was quite generous, and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
The location of the hotel was perfect for me. I could take the subway for the bus straight to all tourist attractions. Fewer staffs are very warm; the breakfast is fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone
Hotel 5 minutes from the bus stop although positioned uphill which can be a bit difficult if you are on foot and with luggage. Room a bit small but well furnished and equipped
Very nice bathroom although the shower box was a bit narrow. Also the breakfast buffet was excellent
Nice vintage stylish classy, Best Western at its best. Different room types all comfy with AirCo, minibar, well equipped in different yet adjacent buildings of a former Villa / Palazzo in bustling Montesacro area
Very nice quiet place and convenient to take public transportation to most tourist visiting places in city centre. Super markets and restaurants are within minutes walk

Very good hotel, well-received by the reception.
Near the heart of Rome
Perfect, very clean as in the photo,
Do not hesitate to book
Beautiful location, great service
There is a bus station right outside the door, which is convenient for taking the bus. There is a market on Sundays and a supermarket opposite the door, which is pretty good
The main disadvantage is that the sound insulation is not good. The road is very noisy and there is also noise when walking on it, which affects sleep
The bed is not big, the facilities are relatively new, very quiet, there is no subway, but it is not far to walk to the main places. There is a market opposite on Sundays, which is very interesting to go shopping.

Even after reading all the positive reviews, I cannot emphasize enough how much this hotel is exceptional!!
We were family of 5 with little kids and it felt this hotel thought on every little detail to make sure our stay is enjoyable:
Wonderful location, professional, helpful and kind stuff, beautiful luxurious rooms with big well equipped bathrooms and comfortable beds and tasty, rich breakfast with...
The most suitable hotel in all respects, both an excellent location and amazing
hospitality. they answered every question and any
inquiry
The room service is one of the best I've seen so far
This was a perfect hotel for our time in Rome. A wonderful location, easy to walk most anywhere. Our room, while smaller than we expected, was clean and lovely - and the bathroom was spacious and beautiful
We just completed a nine night stay at Lunetta. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel in a Superior Double Room. We did find it a bit small for us, but worked out fine
We stayed here for 2 nights for our one year wedding anniversary and we could have not been happier! Everyone was very accommodating and the location was PERFECT! It was in the perfect spot in Rome and the best way to kick off our Italy trip! I would definitely stay here again when we return! We also had plenty of room for our things! Could not get over how helpful everyone was and offering us coffee...
The location is within walking distance of many tourist attractions but the rooms are remarkedly quiet despite being fairly close to busy streets. I love the fact that the staff is so helpful
Great hotel in the middle of everything. You can walk to many places- Trevi and Pantheon are very close from this place. Lots of restaurants and cafes near by. The rooms are clean and service is great as well
We had an amazing stay at Hotel Degli Artisti! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and eager to help. Check-in was quick and effortless, and our room was spotless and beautifully decorated
Not a great location for an old guy like me because of the extreme hilly streets that must be accessed to get to the hotel we like to walk as driving in Rome is something crazy so that was a bit of a setback
He was incredibly friendly, speaking English with me and Spanish with my wife, which made us feel right at home. His kindness and professionalism were a big part of what made our stay so enjoyable
The hotel has lovely decor with a combination of a traditional, old fashioned feel with modern touches. The lounge on the roof was great to relax in the evening for some fresh air and a beverage
The staff was fantastic and incredibly friendly. Alex at the front desk was very helpful and much appreciated. The breakfast was incredibly good and the rooms were very clean

Easy to get a taxi as well, and we felt safe walking to/from the hotel day or night. The staff was amazing from check-in to check-out. Friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable to us the entire time
The front desk staff was very patient, and the room was clean.
I wonder if it's the same at other places. Compared to other hotels in Rome, the hotel is a comfortable place to rest
We spent 8 nights at Hotel Diocleziano and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is centrally located near Rome’s city center, with many bus lines nearby and convenient connections to the airport via Rome Termini
It was nice being close to the station, and the breakfast was delicious. The front desk staff were very friendly. However, the smell from the curtains and carpet in the room persisted, which was difficult
Thank you to the friendly staff for keeping the room clean. However, the breakfast is a bit lacking compared to a 4-star hotel. Also, the city tax is 75 euros for two people for 5 days
It was so hard to book from so far away, wondering and not knowing, but this was GREAT value for price, clean, staff was lovely and helpful. I would definitely return and recommend to a friend
(We did not do the continental breakfast)
The staff was wonderful, however, it's important to note this detail before booking, as we had several very large suitcases, and it was very uncomfortable carrying those two suitcases plus others we had brought
Bathroom was newly redone, clean, simple room, great location, close to restaurants, minutes away from a square where we got on the hop on hop off busses
The room was tiny, and the bathroom area was minuscule, about 65 x 65 cm, making it impossible to shower
super location, breakfast nothing special. better to have coffee in some bar
I must say that the "Principessa Isabella" performed that role very well! The hotel is a modest walk (20-40 minutes) from the main Roman sites (and close to at least one bus route to the Termini area) - it is also a very affordable taxi ride to such sites
Outstanding location central to many get sights! Helpful and professional staff. Beautiful lobby and rooms! Breakfast room was lovely with many selections. Walkable to wonderful restaurants in a pretty neighborhood
My recollection of changes in that part of the city between first and second stays was reinforced by recent user reviews (NOT of that particular hotel, but of the neighbourhood) so I went looking for an alternative "nice place to stay"
The area around the hotel felt very safe and included various government offices and international banks. I loved the room (101): a nice bathroom and a decent amount of space
I must say that I was a little disappointed - my only disappointment overall - that coffee at breakfast was from a machine even though there was a "proper" espresso machine in the adjoining "bar area"
I really do hope to return in the next year or so as there is so much still to see in Rome - and the "Principessa Isabella" is a fine base for such exploration!

I was there for 3 days in one room which was spacious comfortable and clean. When I came back for another day the room was clean but very small. I had to keep moving my bags to get around
Great value. Clean. Staff is very friendly. Quiet. Few steps to Tevere and Forum and Trastevere. Hard to beat for price in center of Rome.
Great staff at front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, etc. So helpful and knowledgeable. We loved the room and breakfast was wonderful.
What bothered me was that the price for both rooms was similar. One was worth more than the other. Otherwise my stay was excellent!
Excellent hotel, excellent location, very helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Close to Trastevere, Campo di Fiori.
Perfect location. Walking distance to Trastevere ay night and all the Piazzas by day.

Because we visited in December, it was too cold to eat outdoors and we weren't able to enjoy a sunset at the rooftop bar. By the way, 2 taxi drivers commented that the hotel has the best views in the city
The Concierge's who work day and night are friendly, warm and gracious, not to mention incredibly informative and helpful. During our stay we didn't meet an employee who wasn't friendly and warm and helpful
Close to a wealth of restaurants including a wonderful and romantic eatery on the 4th floor of the hotel that is open for lunches and dinners (best to make reservations through the concierge)
I could go on and on about this gem of a place to stay and we hope to be able to return there soon. Finally, while there, an urgent medical issue arose. The staff response was extraordinary
An included daily breakfast was far beyond what one typically gets in American hotels. A big part of what makes Palazzo Borromini the special place that it is, is the incredible staff
Once the family residence of a Pope, this 16th century structure connected to a church and a museum is now a beautifully updated elegant Hotel
The room was very cosy! The location is perfect to go to many of the tourist spots all the more if you like walking. Also the Termini station is like a 15 min walk and it has the direct train to the airport
Breakfast was not included with my stay and was a little pricey but well worth the cost. The rooftop bar doubles as the bar at night and it's lovely to have the view of Rome while you are eating/drinking
Our room was well-appointed and stylish and the breakfast is on a lovely & scenic rooftop location with so many, high quality choices with very attentive staff. Would definitely stay here again!!
We loved staying here! Very close to a Metro station, Spanish Steps, Trevi and beautiful & lively evening strolling, eating and people watching. The staff were so attentive, helpful and friendly
My first time going to Rome, we made a good decision by booking our room at the Berberini.
The staff is so kind and nice, safe area. My room was small the breakfast was the same everyday.
The hotel is right across the street from the Palazzo Barberini, an oasis in a hectic city. My room was very nice and very well laid out. I enjoyed my stay here very much

Amazing service from all the staff - very friendly and accommodating
I was surprised with a bottle of red for my birthday!
Breakfast was well priced and had plenty to eat and even having second lot of desserts -
Fruits were fresh and the pastries were lovely!
Thanks to Red and his team!
The hotel left a very positive impression: a cozy atmosphere, cleanliness, good spa and a genuine feeling that guests are truly cared for. Special praise goes to Giulia, who is in charge of the breakfasts
We stayed in a superior room, which was spacious enough for two people to spread out their large suitcases. The shower had lots of hot water and the shower room was spacious, so we were very satisfied
Thanks to Giulia, breakfasts feel warm and welcoming, and she definitely makes the stay even more memorable. A truly good hotel that you would happily return to
There was a vacancy on the day we stayed, so we stayed there. Our favorite restaurant was only a 4-minute walk away, so it was the perfect place for us to stay
We would like to stay here again next time. It was a shame that we didn't have time to go to the rooftop cafe. We would definitely like to go next time

We really enjoyed our stay in Rome. This hotel is close to the train, a 10 minute walk. There was a grocery store at the end of the block with a wine bottle opener in the room and wine glasses
Beautiful place with lots of character. Walkable to literally everything you need to see while in Rome for a day. Staff is fantastic and helpful, rooms are quiet and cute and bathroom was roomy
The staff was very accommodating. The hotel was quaint and close to the subways and everything we wanted to see. It was nice to have an elevator as well.
The pillows were amazing! They have a wonderful breakfast with lots of options. The front desk workers spoke English well and were very helpful!
We had a wonderful time. Hotel Britannia is located in a fantastic neighborhood near the Opera house, shopping, and plenty of good restaurants. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the major historic sites of Rome.
Rooms were of a good size as were the showers. Smaller than US standards but good size for Italy. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Hotel room clean. Staff accommodating. Breakfast mediocre.
The hotel has a very good location and offers great value for money. The furniture was brand new, while the overall decoration carried a unique 1980s vintage atmosphere, which gave the place a special character
The only minor inconvenience was that the TV in the room was LG, but the remote control was not, which meant we could not switch channels using it—a small but curious detail
Overall, this price is a good choice. It takes about 40 minutes to get to the Vatican.
Aside from this, the experience was very positive
As soon as we found them, they asked us to leave a €50 cash deposit, which they returned to us upon checkout after checking the room for damage. This wasn't mentioned on the website, and it really bothered me
Overall, the stay exceeded expectations in terms of cleanliness and service, though the property’s age and distance from major attractions may influence its appeal depending on one’s travel plans
Beautiful, immaculate rooms, decorated with special taste, five-star service, well-stocked breakfast served in a room with products on request, truly individual service, all in the very center of ROME, a few meters from PHANTEON
The hotel is a few steps away from the Pantheon. Important to note that taxis cannot drive right up to it and there are stairs with no lift if you have heavy bags
But the staff are so helpful and the room was very clean and quirky, cute. Breakfast is ordered the night before and served on a tray at a time of your choice to your room which worked great for us!
The hotel staff prepared a surprise for us: a beautifully decorated room with champagne, balloons and rose petals. We will definitely come back to this hotel
I advise everyone to spend one or more nights in this hotel. Service very nice, family atmosphere, rooms clean and daily cleaned
Really fun location!
One block from pantheon.
Awesome staff.
Well worth the price!
The bedrooms and bathroom were clean. We were welcomed in a friendly manner. The person at the front desk gave us a map of Rome and explained several questions that we had regarding some places that we wanted to visit
Good location near the train station. Nice guy at the reception. Good breakfast. Bed a little hard. Good shower
Excellent location - a few min walk from Roma Termini train station/airpot train and sight seeing busses.
Great value for money, room was clean, aircon was excellent, friendly staff.
There is no kettle in the room
The hotel staff were good with english and very fast at replying on Expedia. Also while staying at the hotel they were always nice and welcoming towards me!
The breakfast is simple, but you have a lot to choose from
Rooms as expected very small , beds hard a s a rock very eroupe. Very easy to take Bus or subway or train. Also airport drop off amazing. Area is not bad even at night. Possibly other side of tracks maybe worse lol

The Hotel Bolivar is perfectly located within 15 min walk to all the top Rome sights to see. Hotel Managers were friendly and helpful and had our taxi waiting for us on our day of departure to airport
Eight of us stayed here for two nights over the weekend. An attractive and comfortable hotel in the heart of the city. Friendly and efficient service from reception
We stayed for 1 week at this hotel and was extremely satisfied with the location, beauty of the hotel, breakfast and Peter at the front desk
Breakfast was very good, plenty of choices, although it was same every day, maybe a little rotation would be nice, but the pies were great! Staff was super friendly. Housekeeping was good, fresh towels daily
The breakfast room on the top floor was bright and offered some lovely views across the city towards the countryside
Complimentary wi-fi worked well during our entire weeklong stay. Beds are on the firm side, which I love. Breakfast is good and the self serve coffee machines in the breakfast area in particular are very nice
