Exceptional compound and amenities on site.  Rare for a hotel in Rome to occupy such large grounds and amenities like outdoor and indoor pools + sizable gym.

If you are seeking the typical branded 5 star experience as defined by the hotel association then this is not for you! If you are expecting a 5 star typical traditional Tuscan experience complete with a private vineyard then this is the place like no other in tuscany

The hotel is generally good. The service is perfect. The facilities are a bit old. The size of my single room is very small, but the size of my colleagues’ double room was a lot larger.

Located in Central Roma, Fabulous Hotel, The service is excellent and morning breakfast is very well attended, as you have a great variety of foods for everyone's taste

Terrible service and facilities. The air conditioner broke, but they didn't fix it and kept saying it was fine. It was too hot to sleep, so I switched to a cheaper room

This is my favourite hotel in Rome. Its old world charm and architecture, gr8 service and our room was stylish and spotless. The bars r devine and at Christmas the decorations and tree really beautiful

A memorable trip So if you are keen to be in the centre of town and enjoy a stay that has a lot of history and you don't mind not having a gym or pool, then it's fine hotel

The Nazis occupied it during WW11. Loved the marble lion staircase

We had three rooms however all varied in size and Facilities The rooms are generally clean and have traditional furniture and the rooms have been modified for air-conditioning The bathroom also are fairly large yet need more thought into the design

It’s our 6th time to  stay here and still the service of their staff never changed special mention to Laura at the reception. She really  did her best to give us the  corner room we requested

Fantastic hotel, staying in a family suite. 2 separate rooms created by easily opened dividing doors. Air con is great and much needed at this time of year. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again

The room was a good size, bright, and spotless. The linens were nice, making for a comfortable sleep. The location is convenient, close to Termini Station. The breakfast was good and tasty

We originally booked a standard double room, but the hotel kindly gave us one with a terrace, where my husband and I enjoyed some wine together

We spent a total of six nights here, which gave us a great opportunity to explore Rome thoroughly. The breakfast was by far the most satisfying part of our stay

I usually stay at W Hotels around the world and have never experienced such a long check-in delay before. If the system is slow or experiencing issues, the hotel should have better arrangements in place

The only negative was the room had low lighting, so it was dark and I stood by the window to apply my makeup. But I would rather do that to stay at such a beautiful, and nice hotel

I had already explained that I could leave my credit card as a guarantee and proceed with the check-in first, as I had traveled a long distance and was very tired

Again, they did everything they could to assist us. We could not have asked for a more compassionate group of people to help us navigate what should have been a long awaited vacation. The rooms are absolutely stunning

The W Rome is a beautiful hotel, the rooms are small which is common for Europe. It had wonderful amenities like a Dyson hairdryer, and one of the best steamers I have ever used A Full mini bar with lots of snacks

This place gave us the best experience we’ve had staying with Marriott. I’m currently a titanium member with lifetime platinum status but I truly believe the staff treated each individual with class

It is very quiet, and people are running in the early morning. The transportation is convenient, and the nearby bus and light rail are good to go everywhere. The key is that the breakfast is particularly rich

The nearest metro station is Eur Palasport which will take you to all the tourist sights. The reception staff was very kind to make me an espresso in the morning as the coffee machine was not working

Traveling to Rome, I unexpectedly booked this Ibis, which is exceptionally good value. It is less than a kilometer walk from the subway. The hotel is next to a quiet community on a high ground

The hotel staff were very kind and I was able to check in early as my flight to Rome was early, this helped a lot as I was able to freshen up before visiting the sights

Suitable for business, although the subway is not close by walking distance, but the price is good. The distance to the surrounding attractions is acceptable

If there is no taxi, it is very inconvenient. If you are a free traveler who walks a lot, it is difficult to take the subway because the area gets dark quickly in the winter and the shopping district is far away

The hotel is located near the Vatican, and it is very convenient to walk to the Vatican Basilica and the museum. The subway station is a little distance away, and it is more convenient to take the bus. Recommended!

Very nice hotel, A+ location just a few minutes walk from the Vatican. Very nice staff, nice clean room. Neighborhood was also very nice with lots of great restaurant options. Would definitely come back

The room is of a decent size, with average facilities. The location is close to the Vatican, a 6-7 minute walk to the Cathedral, but it is quite far from the Vatican Museums, so you need to take a taxi or a car

There's nothing good to say about foreign hotels. They cost thousands a night, the rooms are small, and the facilities are outdated. The good hotels are in China!

The only negative thing to report is that since we arrived early from an overseas flight the room was not ready (fully expected), but the staff was primarily focused on selling us an upgrade to a Deluxe room (25 Euros more per day) which is the exact same room we had except the minibar comes free of charge

The cleaning staff do a great job, room was replenished everyday with fresh towels and cleaned so well

While not central, we were able to walk, take the bus, metro, taxis, and reach all destinations without any issue. The proximity to Trastevere allows easy connection with many bus lines and the regional train

That goes for the staff at any section; reception, restaurant etc - they are all wonderful. The breakfast is great - enough food to cater for all types, both cold and hot food - there is plenty of choice

This being said, they offered to secure the bags for us free of charge while we roamed the city. They offered a map and guidance for local attractions and transportation

We opted to wait for our room, which wasn't made available until 3pm sharp *and* following another request that they fulfill their guarantee now that we reached 3pm

Amazing location, just a 5-minute walk from the Colosseum. The price reflects the location, so don’t expect too much in terms of luxury, it’s simple and nothing fancy. Breakfast was quite good and included in my stay

I highly recommend checking out the rooftop bar, which offers a stunning view of the Colosseum at night. Parking is available, but only use it if your car isn’t too big, the old underground garage is very narrow

Overall the hotel is good. Breakfast a bit crowded if you go about 9am but if go earlier is better coz lacking of tables. One thing not really good is their sink water drain out is very slow. Others so far ok.

I was visiting Rome from Toronto as a single mom with my 2 girls, and my stay was AMAZING! Sara and Sergio were very kind, helpful and welcoming. Very professional but most importantly they cared about our wellbeing

The room is a bit old, but the location is quite good. The front desk is very enthusiastic and proactive in communicating. The hotel's own underground parking lot is closed and quite safe.

The balcony view room is very good. We upgraded to the highest floor, where you can see the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo. The hotel is in a good location, not far from the attractions

This hotel had the best service and location. We were a party of three with amazing views of the city and The Vatican. Reception and concierge were very helpful

The croissant is very crispy and it falls apart when touched. The customer service can't speak English very well, but the service speed is OK

The room is spacious, it is a small suite, and the bathroom is also very large, which is unexpected in Europe, especially in the old town

Hotel de Russie exceeded all expectations. Breakfast in the garden is outstanding, delicious food in a beautiful setting. The staff is exceptionally kind and attentive, and the overall atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming

For the 3rd morning in a row we had the most amazing breakfast experience at the Hotel Restaurant The Garden. The service is beyond exceptional. The experience from the Host to the Waiters was perfect

Spa fabulous although did not have a treatment but again from staff to facilities amazing. Decor fabulous, flowers a wow and loved the two residents cats, very respectful

My parents and i absolutely loveð the aesthetics of the room, lounge and breakfast, and dinner room. We enjoyed the facility of the shuttle bus, and we thought that was very efficient

A minor drawback was the quality of the dinner food as it wasn't as good as we expected. Things occoured such as pasta was a little uncooked. However, I loved the red majito cocktail

Good location, nice rooms, good breakfast buffet, the staff is friendly too. We had issues with AC unit temperature adjustment, and even after asking 2-3 times didnt get much help, but manageable.

Hotel a little out of hand, is the ideal setting for business meetings, including coffee break at the pool. The rooms although a little small are comfortable

I'm really glad I chose this hotel. They're clean, helpful, friendly, and cheerful. The hotel is located 15 minutes from Rome. There's a shuttle bus in the morning to drop you off near Rome

The environment was fantastic and very clean, plus there's a swimming pool! A complimentary bottle of water was provided in the room

They also pick you up at a designated location. A taxi from the city to the hotel costs 20 euros before 8:30 PM. After 9:00 PM, the fare is around 40 euros. The people in Rome themselves are grumpy and surly

The rest of the meals were so and so. The towels were kind of stinky. Although the room was big and comfortable. The hotel is way too far from the city , so you would have to get a taxi in order to get there

Almost nobody speaks english ,which is unacceptable in a job that deals with tourists. The chicken we had for dinner was terrible. I think I would have a way better chicken if I were in a hospital

When you check out from the hotel we were waited by an unpleasant surprise - we paid a City Tax of 6€ for 1 night per person(a tax for tourists, we didn't know)

Our stay at Novotel Roma Est was overall pleasant, with a few areas that could be improved. The hotel itself looks modern and clean, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds

We didn't have breakfast there, because we wanted to be on time for the Colosseum, but we had dinner and all the others are the table complained about the food being salty. Mine (which was pork) was beautifully done

The location is a bit out of the way. While there's a bus stop right outside, Italian buses are notoriously unreliable, so you'll need to walk a bit to get to the subway station

There are a few restaurants, cafes, and a small supermarket nearby. The facilities are a bit dated but well-maintained, giving it more of a business hotel feel. The room was smaller than expected but clean and tidy

The rooms were super modern with mood lighting that you could adjust, a bidet and a rain shower. Everyone at the desk was super helpful. The breakfast buffet was 16, but since I have status with BW, it was complimentary

The buffet had everything under type of food from eggs and bacon to pizza and pasta. If I had any gripe at all, the food could have been warmer, but that happens with buffets

The hotel's location is superb, with easy access to buses, the metro, trains, and taxis. I initially thought a location like this might be noisy, but it was surprisingly quiet, allowing me to get a great night's sleep

I wouldn't have noticed if the elevator had been spacious. The rooms are old, the furniture is tired, and the TV doesn't have a smart TV, only Italian channels

Very close to Termini and all the major sights. Found some great places to eat nearby too. The welcome was professional and friendly. Be aware there is a city tax to pay in cash on check out, which I wasn't aware of

Friendly, helpful staff who speak good English. Good choice of self serve breakfast. Make your own waffles were good. Location out of the city so you need to drive or use taxis

It's like chicken wire held in place by a metal rod? From there it's just a quick trot to the hotel, but taking a taxi from the last metro station on the pink line is fairly cheap and is way easier

Located on the ring road, next to a warehouse district, the hotel has its own parking lot with cameras. The lobby is staffed 24/7, and security guards conduct regular patrols

When I arrived in the evening, the front desk lady's attitude was really poor, but Alessio, who was on duty during the day, was very warm and provided excellent service

If you follow Google maps, and it wants you to walk for 30 minutes, it's through a sheep farm. with 3 gates/fences of different difficulties
