Cleanliness: Daily cleaning and replenishment by staff. The tram stop is right outside the hotel. Service: The front desk staff was very friendly and patient, and even helped us with our luggage storage
Amenities are very complete, including instant coffee, tea bags, a kettle, slippers, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, lotion, a hairdryer, and more. There's also a gym and a free sauna
The hotel is also right by a bus stop which made getting around easy. They had an answer for every question we had, and we had a lot of questions being first time tourists
Excellent rooms, friendly staff, lots of amenities and really good service. If you fancy staying in Rome but out of the centre then this hotel is highly recommended
Stayed here for part of my honeymoon. I can't say enough good things about the concierge. They gave great directions and advice for getting around the city
Summary - as Hilton's go this is really good. A 35 minutes walk north of the city from the Spanish steps this smaller a Hilton has a lot going for it

My stay was magical. The hotel was a gem, the team and staff amazing, my room a cocoon. I will absolutely come back and recommend to friends and family.
Stellar service, room exceeded my expectations, overnight stay was comfortable, relaxing and quiet.
Everything was excellent! Spacious room, delicious breakfast, friendly and helpful staff!
the room (although not large) was amazing with a bed that had dual controls to lift the head or foot. The breakfast was the best we have experienced anywhere. Way over our normal budget, but a worthwhile experience
Everyone was great and the hotel was amazing. I would recommend it to everyone.
The best all around hotel in Rome. Don’t stay there. I wanna make sure there is room for me.

The toiletries in the bathroom were also wonderful! The staff at Marcella was always attentive to our needs & upon arrival, the gentleman working the reception desk recommended a casual restaurant right around the corner, where I enjoyed a delicious pasta dinner with exceptional service
The hotel's classic décor was a delight; everything in the room, from the vases and paintings on the walls to the vintage cabinets, was a pleasure! The classic decorative details blended perfectly with modern comfort, and every corner exuded a sense of history
Plenty restaurants/bars in the same street, a chemist and grocery shop over the road and around the corner 2minutes away. The hotel is very clean our room was a standard double and had a large very comfortable bed
The room was incredibly spacious, and the king-size bed was a true luxury, especially for Europe. What really stood out, though, was the staff—they were warm, personable, and full of great local recommendations
I also use crutches I had no issues walking in the hotel or getting to it apart from cars parked everywhere on paths, zebras but it made it an experience I'll never forget
Very good hotel in an ideal location, roof top bar is lovely. We had a city view room it was a bit noisy with but we were in a big city, it didn't stop me sleeping

Everything was perfect. Location, Staff, Service , Food…. Will definitely return to stay here in 2026. Thanks to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable and comfortable. Cannot recommend this Hotel more highly.
The hotel was very charming with an old fashioned look but modern amenities. It’s small and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive, with exceptional support from housekeeping
Hotel Locarno is exquisite. From the moment we arrived, to our departure day, my wife and I felt welcomed and well taken care of in every aspect. The room was clean,
A highlight was the complimentary prosecco toast on the rooftop for viewing fireworks on New Years Eve
Beautiful hotel, incredibly well trained staff and wonderful design details throughout. What a treat to stay at the Hotel Locarno, truly a 5 star property, we absolutely loved it

🧡 The location is a bit far from the city center, but they provide a shuttle service, so there are no worries at all. If this is your first visit to Rome, I definitely recommend making a reservation at Hotel Domidea
Having said that we often took the tube and a short service bus ride back to the hotel on an evening. The service bus picked up right outside the underground station and dropped off within about 100 metres of the hotel
I had a great stay for 4 nights. What I liked the most was the staff — their hospitality made the experience one of the best in Rome. Their customer service and attention should be a standard for hotels
The entire staff was extremely nice, welcoming and helpful. Especially Jarka who made us feel at home during our stay. This helped our vacation start off on the right foot. Many thanks and happy holidays.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Domidea! The room was large, spacious, very clean and well maintained. The location is great – close to a bus stop, which makes it easy to reach the city center
com! Hotel is far from Rome downtown, also far (3-4 kms) from subway station. Although hotel provides free pick-up drop shuttle service, you need to adjust your schedule to match the timings

Later, when we had a small oversight on a dish, they responded with great professionalism: they offered us a 50% discount on lunch, a gesture that confirmed the quality of the service and customer care
The Trevi Fountain and Pantheon are also just a 10-15 minute walk away, with plenty of restaurants along the way
I travelled with my teenage daughter. The one negative thing would be about trip.  When I booked the hotel 6 weeks in advance I was asked to include the number of people 1 adult 1 child age 16
The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional down to the last detail, and the manager is truly fantastic: you can feel their passion for excellence in every gesture
But when I arrived they said my booking was for only 1 adult and  a 6 year old.  I had to pay $40 extra euros per night for my daughter as she is considered an adult
Choosing to stay here turned out to be one of the best choices in Rome: the convenient location, elegant atmosphere, and attention to detail make all the difference

Great hotel on the southern outskirts of Rome. Furniture and decoration are quite expensive. The most important thing is that there is a swimming pool. In the morning we went to see the sights of Rome
We came first time to rome and this place makes you feel so at home thanks to Andrea he was so accommodating and welcoming It's important to come to unknown country and to get such a nice quite hotel out the way We got taxi or bus to city great place amazing shopping centre nearby the staff were so accommodating
Nice solution for someone coming to Rome by car because it has a parking lot, it's easy accesible from the highway, you don't have to worry about Rome ZTL zones and if you want to go by car to city center there is a fast road by which you can go towards Rome center
The room is clean and comfortable and have all needed amenities. The breakfast is great and with a lot of options. The hotel is far from the center area but bus station is located directly beside the hotel.
The only downside is the location, a bit far from the city center if you're not driving, as the buses don't work very well in Rome. And getting from the airport to the hotel was an odyssey. But everything else was 10/10
And if you want to attend Catholic Mass there is a church close to hotel. All in all, nice experience, thank you hotel La Giocca

The front desk agent on the day we checked out held our luggage in the back to ensure we were safe from pickpocket, while waiting for our taxi. The breakfast had a large variety of food
Super nice rooms, great location near railroad station and buses. Easy walk or ride to major attractions. Hot breakfast is very American, not Italian at all, has good variety but doesn't taste good
Had a great room for our Rome trip. Within walking distance to many of the enjoyable sites of Rome and the proximity to the train station was perfect. Very friendly staff
We arrived in rome early and reached the hotel in expectation to drop our laugage and start exploring the city but the reception desk staff provided an early checkin which was really useful, many thanks to them
What a beautiful hotel in an ideal location. The room was clean and well layed out. We were able to check in immediately
Hotel is very good, well maintained,. walkable distance from central train station

Not very modern, old style hotel very Italian. But enjoy our stay, it's quite clean with need breakfast and swimming pool. A bit far from everything else tho.
family travelling , overall best hotel for stay . car park is free
It was a very nice property and was incredibly clean. The staff is a shining star, VERY helpful and attentive. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. There was a breakfast buffet that was good in selection and fresh
It was nice to leave the craziness of the tourist areas and come back to a quiet and peaceful location. Two excellent restaurants within 2 blocks. Uber to Vatican about 16 euros or 25 euros to coliseum
This hotel is part of the Barcello group, which is always good. It is very hard to get a 5 out of me but I would rate this location 31/2 to 4 it is average to above average, nothing made it "pop out"
From my experience it is your typical European continental breakfast. They did have bacon and scrambled eggs for us fat Americans but, they need a lesson on how to make scrambled eggs

The hotel was very nice and the staff were extremely helpful, it was also only a short walk from the colosseum and had a great little gelato place just down the street. I would highly recommend staying here
The hotel location just 7mins walk from metro. The station is really closed to the main attraction like the colosseum. Those it is near the metro, it is very quiet as there are no restaurants 200m from it
On arrival, we were greeted by an abrupt Indian staff. Poor customer relations skills.
Roma was very good and this hotel close to the historical places.
Rosa and another gentleman kindly assisted us during check-in, making us feel immediately at ease. Samer, the restaurant manager, who kindly assisted us when we brought back some gelato from a nearby grocery store
Overall, the hotel locations were excellent. We were able to reach the hotel from the train station by bus, followed by a short walk. The neighborhoods felt safe and clean, which added to our comfort

At the heart of Rome. Just the room has not porslin cup or glass in advance. But you can ask the reception to bring you. Every where was clean. Perfect
The location is great, clean, and even though the hotel is old, the staff was friendly, answering all our questions, helping with restaurant reservations, and ordering taxis
The room had a nice view of the piazza and was a nice size, though the shower was a bit small. The location is excellent- very close to many of the major sites, and walking distance to lots of great restaurants and cafes
Though we were pleased with the hotel, what made our stay truly 5 star was the care and service we received from Patrick at the front desk. He was, by far, the most helpful concierge we’ve ever encountered
He went out of his way to provide anything we needed. On our first night there, we were running late to pick up tickets to the papal audience the next day, and he ran (literally) to go get them for us
My husband and I stayed here as part of a two week anniversary trip to Italy. We booked a superior room and were very happy with it

The receptionist was very kind and funny, and gave us lots of candy! The room was spacious, the breakfast was delicious, and it was great with easy access to Termini Station and the city center! I'd love to stay here again if I have the opportunity!
The room was quite clean and tidy, but a bit small, and the desk was tiny too. The indoor lighting was too dim, and the soundproofing wasn't great. Breakfast was decent, though the stir-fried vegetables were too salty
The room wasn't huge, but the high ceilings made it feel spacious, and the decor was very tasteful. All the staff were incredibly friendly and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful
The location was very convenient, just a few minutes' walk to Tetmini train station. I'd still stay here again next time
Booked this stay for our photographers and they love the stay here! Super convenient to access around ROME

The food was really quite good, but the rooftop bar is amazing. I found the reception staff to be some of the most helpful staff I've come across. We had a perfect weekend in Rome and the hotel played a big part in that
Visiting such a historic city, I wanted to stop in a hotel that was historic. I didn't want a "run of the mill" chain hotel. It's great in the pictures but so much better in real life
The Coloseum is 10 minutes away, Trevi Fountain is 15 minutes away, the Roman Forum is next door, and there is plenty of local shops, bars and restaurants around
5 stars for the location in the heart of the Forum of Roma. Very busy neighbourhood so if that's not your bag, find another location
The ambience of the place is amazing. It feels "nostalgic" but still has the "mod cons". The location is one of the best in Rome
I guess the lift is a bit slow 🤷‍♂️

It's better to go to Italy than Hong Kong! Apart from the airfare, Italy is much more cost-effective than Hong Kong and Macau in other aspects
During this trip to Rome, the Guardian Hotel left me with a great impression! From the location point of view, it is in an excellent location, very close to Rome Termini Station, convenient for travel, and there are subway stations around, so you can easily go to various attractions in the city
And the area is very quiet, there is no sense of noise at all, and you can sleep well at night. The hotel staff are warm and thoughtful
From checking in at the front desk to asking for local travel information, they patiently answered and gave practical suggestions
Very good, very good, very good, very good, very good
It's amazing! It's right next to Rome Station! There's a bar on the rooftop at night, making it very convenient to various attractions! The room was also very nice! I didn't expect Europe to be so affordable

They also offer the tour bus tickets, so it’s reliable rather than uncredit street shops. Second, room is very clean and well designed. I stayed in family size, there’s a two double bed and storage closet
The hotel is in an excellent location, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff are extremely friendly, especially those in the restaurant and breakfast room
I visited this hotel during the pandemic (covid-19), and I had only positive experiences. Everybody was very helpful, everything was clean, the shower was almost like a small room
There were hand sanitisers around the hotel. The air conditioning came really handy when arriving after a 6 hour walk around Rome. The Termini station was 15 minutes away. The prices werr absolutelly affordable
I stayed in here about half years ago, I can remember all of the impressed facility. First, staffs are very kind and they want to give the information about Rome

Not great but kinda mid cuz of this girl and the size of our room (small) and no door to the shower area. Very difficult to navigate privacy for 3 people. It would have been nice to be informed of that ahead of time
Then there is the spa which is meagre and after cancelling my reservations, which threw off our whole itinerary and cost us money, I eventually received the worst massage of my life, after which I was left limping for the rest of my trip
I felt like an inconvenience to be seated by her or to ask questions of her. And, she wasn’t nice to the young man that tended the bar area
Pictures look nicer than reality. Our bathroom ceiling had a leak and no door. It just had a folding that you were expected to move every time you wanted to access the bathroom
Our room was on the 1st floor and it was exceptionally noisy & our bathroom toweled were frayed/damaged. I decided not to focus on this and take advantage of the walk ability to sites
This is a convenient place to stay in Monti, near convenient stores and very good restaurants. (Go around the corner and eat at La Taverna Dei Monti

The transportation is very convenient, close to the MTR. and service is nice.
Positives: Friendly Staff: The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist, which made my stay enjoyable. Nice Lounge: The lounge area was comfortable and well-designed, perfect for relaxing or socializing
Decent Breakfast: The breakfast spread was varied and satisfying, offering a good start to the day. Clean Room: The room was spotless and well-maintained, which I greatly appreciated
Outside Food Policy: When I requested cutlery to eat some outside food, I was politely informed that eating outside food in the room was against hotel policy
Negatives: Hard Third Bed: The third bed in the room was a bit hard, possibly due to its age. It might be worth considering an upgrade or replacement

The location is excellent, and although it's a 40-year-old establishment, the rooms have a more classic design. It's very safe to stay here when traveling alone, and the overall experience is superb.
It was so convenient because it was close to tourist attractions!! I will definitely stay here again when I go to the UK! The London bus also runs there so I didn't have to walk much!
Small rooms, as in all of Europe. Excellent breakfasts with a view of Santa Maria Maggiore. The room was missing an information booklet, pens, paper, etc
The most convenient location, just opposite Santa Maria di Maggiore and 7-10 minutes walk to Roma Termini and metro
Several bus stops nearby - we use buses to go to Colosseo, Borgese, piazza Navova, and metro for Vatican
Of course, the location is the only reason it's a four, but everything is excellent

This is a hotel that becomes your " home" , intimate and personal with the staff anticipating your every need. Refreshing relief from the many other hotels around the area that have busy lobbies and reception areas
Everything about JK Place is special. I read a review that stated it was like staying in someone’s private home and that’s exactly how you feel. We very much enjoyed our stay. The attention to detail is meticulous
