I had the pleasure of staying at the Marinella Hotel during my recent trip for a course I was attending at the Institute of International Humanitarian Law, and my experience there exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm, cozy, and comfortable atmosphere that envelops the entire hotel. It became not just a place to stay but a sanctuary where I could relax and recharge after long days of learning and exploration.

The hotel's location is one of its standout features. Nestled near the iconic Sanremo beach, the surroundings were nothing short of breathtaking. Every day, I looked forward to my walk from the hotel to the institute, as it gave me a chance to soak in the peaceful environment, stunning views, and vibrant local life. Being close to both the beach and the city center, the Marinella Hotel’s location offers the perfect balance between serenity and accessibility, making it a great spot for both leisure and business stays.

The staff at Marinella Hotel deserve special recognition. Sabrina, Marco, and Leo were incredibly professional and friendly throughout my stay. Their warm smiles and willingness to go above and beyond truly made me feel at home. The hotel manager was also frequently present, ensuring that every guest was comfortable and satisfied. Whether it was arranging transportation or offering advice on local attractions, they were always there to assist with anything I needed, enhancing the overall experience.

When it comes to cleanliness, the Marinella Hotel sets a high standard. Every room, hallway, and corner of the hotel was impeccably maintained, neat, and tidy. It’s evident that the staff takes great pride in ensuring the hotel is spotless, creating a pleasant and inviting environment for guests.

The cafeteria was one of the highlights of my stay. The food was healthy and also incredibly delicious. The breakfast buffet, in particular, was truly exceptional – something that could only be described as fit for royalty! The spread was magnificent, offering fresh, warm meals that catered to every preference. Whether you’re craving something light or hearty, they had it all, and it was all of superb quality. And the coffee? Absolutely divine.

The hotel lobby was another aspect I really enjoyed. It has a welcoming ambiance, with the staff always greeting you with warm smiles and ready to assist. It’s the small details like this that make a hotel feel like more than just a place to stay, and it certainly set the tone for the rest of my experience there.

Wi-Fi connectivity is always an important factor, especially when you’re traveling for work, and I’m happy to say that the Wi-Fi at the Marinella Hotel was outstanding. I never experienced any issues with internet speed or connectivity, whether I was in my room, the lobby, or even the cafeteria. It allowed me to stay connected with my family, the course materials and work seamlessly.

One of my favorite spots in the hotel was the terrace on the second floor. This beautiful space, filled with lush plants, was the perfect place to unwind after a long day. It was peaceful, calm, and an ideal spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or simply relax and take in the fresh air.

As someone who follows a halal diet, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were several halal restaurants nearby. This made my dining experiences outside the hotel even more enjoyable, adding to the overall convenience of staying at the Marinella.

I have to commend the hotel for the soundproofing in the rooms. Despite being close to the bustling city and beach, my room was always quiet, allowing for uninterrupted sleep each night. This was a major plus, especially after long, tiring days at the institute. The hotel offers more than just a place to stay, it offers an experience. Whether you’re visiting for work or leisure, you’ll find that the Marinella has everything to make your stay unforgettable. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sanremo and will undoubtedly stay there again on my next trip!

Solid hotel, great balcony views, and excellent service

The restaurant was clean and tidy, though a bit worn. The food was great and was prepared in a timely manner. The waiters were polite. I could pay with credit card.
