Where to stay in Liguria

Great stay. Great hotel. We had a nice balcony. 2 min. walk to the beach. Good breakfast. Nice rooftop bar. The room was modern. Friendly staff. Santa Margherita Ligure is a beautiful little town and you can walk to Portofino (or take the bus, ferry). Quite a few pebble beaches on the way so bring your swimsuit.

We had a perfect stay in Tigullio. We walked from the train station to the hotel and then from the hotel to the town/shopping. Everything was close and we were able to walk to get espressos every morning. Perfect location and staff were so welcoming and helped us out with amenities (iron & ironing boards) as we had a wedding nearby. Would 100% recommend to friends and stay here again!

The room AC was not cooling at all and we called the reception and they’ve sent a technician and he said it’s working normal, nothing been done till the last night I called them again to find me a solution, and moved us to another room which the AC was very good and they could’ve did this from the fist complain, my stay was really bad because of the AC and bad smell from the room

This is a lovely place and only a short walk from the waterfront (not on the waterfront as the listing says). Parking in a side street was easy and it appeared to be safe. Staff were lovely and breakfast was great.

On arrival we were super disappointed, the reception hall and especially the toilet next to the reception were super run down (the doors of the latter could not even be closed). Our rooms were also anything but a pleasant surprise. They were in the basement and were not modern like in the pictures, but rather moderately redecorated. We have just had another wonderful short stay at the Hotel Belsoggiorno ! Maria and Matteo are always welcoming , friendly and helpful, as are all the staff . It is a traditional family run hotel with excellent breakfasts and dinners , and typical Ligurian food. Nothing is too much trouble , and a stay at this hotel is very relaxing. We will be back !

Not sure what to expect but was surprised to find the room clean. Fresh towels and immaculate toilet. My balcony gave me a brilliant view of the sea. Stunning view really. The staff here are courteous and always ready to help. I will surely come again soon.

An excellent hotel in a perfect location near the train station and the Flixbus stop, and right next to a bus stop with a direct connection to the airport. This Hotel had the best service I have ever experienced when traveling especially abroad. The gentleman at the reception set the bar so high, that the other hotels I have stayed in cannot compare. The breakfast service was outstanding and very delicious. Finally they let me leave my backpack and heavy items at the hotel while I visited Genoa. Book with them you wont regret it.

My expectations were low due to previous reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was good the staff were great and the room clean and well presented. Loved having clean towels every day. My wife and I went on a shearings trip here. Room was immaculate, food amazing, and staff very polite and helpful. Enjoyed sitting by the pool every night, listening to the frogs, with new found friends. Feddy ( I think that's how it was spelled) was so entertaining behind the bar. We would definitely go back.
