The accommodation was extremely comfortable, with a small balcony, perfectly heated bathroom water, and a fully equipped kitchen. The entire apartment building offered excellent privacy, making me feel very safe.

Ideal for us. We arrived in the Central Station and walked 10 mins or so to reach the hotel. On checking out next day we were able to get from hotel to beyond Linate airport security with 1 hour using the nearby metro. Friendly- allowed us to check in 1 hour early as room was available.

I booked one night for an overnight stop before an onward journey and wish I had stayed longer. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable and spacious for a single room. Lovely outside area and close enough to the main shopping area and also the main station but far enough from both to be quiet. This is a small hotel with very friendly front desk staff. It's located near Milan Central Station, but you need to take the metro. There's also a direct metro to Milan Cathedral. There are several Chinese restaurants nearby, and the cute little yellow tram runs by.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful, but the room was very basic and the surrounding areas weren't the most desirable. There was quite a bit of noise during the night from people outside and in the rooms both beside and above ours. A big plus was that it wasn't too much of a walk to the nearest metro station with links to the rest of the city and the price was very reasonable

Nice 3 stars small hotel, located near the metro but on a creepy and busy street. Rooms were very clean but the matress was hard. The staff was very nice and attentive and the hotel's cats were welcoming and cute. It did really fullfilled our needs.

First impressions are varied. There is parking, there are three trams and a metro within 100 meters so the journey into Milan centre is very easy - around 25 minutes. The rooms are small but clean. The shower room also small but clean. Beds are comfortable, breakfast basic but nice. Staff very attentive. All in all a safe, comfortable stay.

Okey, so we stayed there for three nights. What I can say is that the service is excellent. People are very nice and welcome. The only problem was the rooms are very cold. Outside was raining and there was No warming in the rooms or bathroom. The breakfast was small options. For 1600 euros for three nights i would expect at least to be warm in the rooms….. It’s a small family 3 star hotel. But it’s 4 star hotel for me as it was so clean, it has such a good staff and owners. The only problem that the hotel is a bit far from city center. Specially when google maps don’t work it’s crazy to get to the hotel as taxi’s are not easily available. The hotel service was very thoughtful, and the facilities were okay, but the downside was the lack of disposable slippers and toiletries. However, the location is great, not far from the train station and subway. The front desk even gave out snacks before Christmas.

What a lucky find. We needed a cost effective stay for our halfway stop on the way to our final destination, what a lucky find. The staff is super accomodating the rooms are clean and have the basic amenities, but what was best is the included breakfast. The Cappuccino is amazing, the Cornetti to die for. Needed a room for the night with my family and found this hotel online. We showed up in the evening and was greeted by a lovely staff who quickly helped us check in on our room. The room was rather small. We had a lot of luggage and arrived a day early, so we spent 50 euros to store our luggage at the hotel. The breakfast wasn't very plentiful either. The transportation was somewhat disproportionate, and I felt the city tax was a bit more expensive than at other hotels.

Simple decor, very basic room, yet clean. Located at the outskirts of Milan but a short walk from San Leonardo metro station. The are in itself has very few to offer but having the metro close by will take you to the very centre in half an hour, At the price I paid its definately not worth it (€100 per day), but it was the Olympics period and all Milan accomodation was sky high.

Hotel Excelsior Splendide is in a perfect spot for travel to LAKE COMO , centrally located with steps to the many ferries that stop there daily.
