This hotel is incredible! If you are considering it don’t delay it will not disappoint. Also the garden view rooms are stunning so if you can’t stretch to the lake view it’s not a problem. Hello — I recently stayed in room 601 and the king-sized down pillow was incredible. The manager mentioned it was a “Simmons” pillow. We just stayed for a night and Everything was perfect.

we came as a bicycle team to Bormio. Hotel is in great location, great stuff (barman and waitress). all required services exist including laundry and health center. no air condition so don't take the 4th or the 1st floors. very good breakfast, dinner food was good/ok

Room temperature always 26 plus and in the bathroom even more than 33. Air conditioning is not working. Front desk and maintenance couldn’t help. So only open the window could solve it a little bit. But still not less than 26. Restaurants (esp Rivale) and breakfast are amazing. Spa is okay, but nothing super special.

The hotel is right on the lake and don’t feel busy. Always able to get a sun lounger and the staff are very friendly and helpful. You really need a car though as there is nothing really within walking distance.

Its not 5*though, rooms are clean and comfortable but by their design are dark and no views from junior suites unless you step outside on to youterrace. We had a wonderful stay at Splendido Bay. While everything was great, the highlight was definitely our meals at Il Rivale. We also had lovely walks from the hotel into town. It might be a bit far for some (2.6 miles) but it was a beautiful way to get our daily exercise in. We'll definitely go back!

The room was clean. It’s definitely a 2 star hotel, nice, but 2 star. Front staff was really nice. I was hoping to sit at the pool, but mgmt said it was closed. We had such a lovely time at Hotel Ariston. The staff were gracious and accomodating with our requests, keeping our luggage for most of the day while we were out in Milan. The breakfast was amazing and German was kind, caring and hospitable. We were so well-cared for! Our family will never forget the kindness and caring we recieved during our stay.

We have stayed at Sina the Grey for two years in a row. The hotel staff is absolutely amazing, polite and always helpful! Our gallery view room was spacious, comfy and clean. The bed was partucularly comfortable. The location is as central as it gets without being noisy.

We arrived directly from a 3-day hiking trip in the Dolomites and were so happy to find a simple but luxurious room with a beautiful bathroom and thick towels! The room itself was clean and just as advertised. I booked this hotel since it advertised air conditioning. I am a very hot sleeper and need a fan or some kind of airflow. I learned that this does not mean it has cool air all of the time. Apparently Italy only allows thermostats to control heat only in fall and winter. Even if the thermostat has a cool setting it is only warming- not cooling. Learned...

Friendly staff, great location near Milan Central Station.

The front desk staff are rather strict, but many of them are kind — they allowed me to store my luggage and told me that the restroom is on the lower floor. Breakfast is basic, not very diverse, but has all the essentials.

The room was nice, service was good, and the location was also great. The only downside was the ongoing renovation outside, which started at 8 AM and was quite noisy. I went out early in the morning to explore the old castle and the park. There's a delicious pasta place nearby, run by Wenzhou natives; I recommend their asparagus and shrimp pasta.

Location, just at the lake and as the rooms in the main building all go out to the lake, not much noise from the road and the tracks will disturb you. A very grandiose look over the lake. We had a lovely time here; the lake is beautiful, the hotel is situated perfectly by the water and the walk to Iseo town not too far for us. The staff were friendly and accommodating from the off. Recommended.

Loved the bed...very comfortable and big...balcony nice, but, smokers next door to us promted us to close our door..too close. the bathroom could use a little love..mirror light out, and toilet flush button loose.

The hotels position and view of the lake is beautiful, the pool and outdoor facilities are great. The two restaurants in the hotel have a good offering and buffet breakfast had lots of choice. The town of Pilzone doesn't have much except a locals bar and a fantastic fruit shop. Trains to Iseo run infrequently. So a great hotel to get away from everything.

TLDR; find another hotel. The room is stifling and the air conditioning has never worked. Even if you turn it to the coolest temperature, it only gives out heat. We told the hotel staff after the first night, they seemed to check it but was never came back with an answer if the AC is working properly or not.
