We had a wonderful stay at Splendido Bay. While everything was great, the highlight was definitely our meals at Il Rivale. We also had lovely walks from the hotel into town. The front desk staff was very friendly. They even arranged a room for us when we arrived early. They also enthusiastically helped us resolve the issue of finding the wrong floor. The room was clean, and the facilities were acceptable. The only problem was that the room was quite small, and the elevator was quite cramped. It was only suitable for two people with two suitcases. No more space.

The quilt is not a complete one; it consists of two layers of sheets and a quilt core. The environment is quite old, and even the curtains are only a thin layer. Half of the windows receive no sunlight, making the room very dim and damp. There isn't even a bottle of drinking water, but the reception was very warm and the service attitude was excellent.

Generally decent hotel, good location as it’s not far from Milan centrale train station. Room a bit old but spacious, the toilet is not as clean as hoped (found a bug in the bidet, old bathtub). Have to drop off the key at the reception when going out and ask the staff for it whenever coming back to the hotel, which I find the system quite odd.

The room is clean though amenities are dated. But the room has enough lighting and I like it so much. It has a bathtub and equipped with a bidet too which is a plus for me. We had such a lovely time at Hotel Ariston. The staff were gracious and accomodating with our requests, keeping our luggage for most of the day while we were out in Milan.
