So the location is great... Maybe 12 min walk to the Haarlem station.

The hotel itself isn't great. The stairways are very narrow and hard to walk up if you're tall. No elevator so it's tough to bring luggage up and down stairs.

The room was so tiny. It wouldn't have been bad, but there's a ledge right above the bed. You can't sit up in your bed because you'll hit your head. The bathroom is shared, but there's no sink next to the toilet. You have to go back to your room to wash your hands, so it's not sanitary.

Also, there's a club next door and it can be loud if you're a light sleeper

I had a magnificent experience here at the spa. Most of the staff were friendly at first.

Although this company is high end, some of the staff are not. I was told the extra massages would be 438 dollars when booking them, but when I checked out they racked it up to 1500. Mind you my package was 7,500. The clerk at the counter was so rude and insinuated I could not afford it. I was so upset I asked for the manager, no one was able to rectify this situation. The massage therapist admitted to misquoting me and agreed to take off 500. I was still not happy but in fear of missing my flight I agreed. When I arrived home I found out the hotel still charged me the extra 1500 and has not returned my call. I have called numerous times and even sent a letter through a lawyer and I still haven’t received a response.

I really enjoyed the spa, but the way they handled me and my wife turned what could have been the best time of my life to a nightmare. I will never come back and I hope this review helps some of you.

We immensely enjoyed our stay at hotel Carillon. On the 3rd floor we had beautiful views. Also we got excellent recommendations for dinner. The personnel was very attentive and friendly. The acoustic in the dining hall will surely get better soon.

Great location with super view from the room balcony; reception staff's are very helpful and customer oriented.
Good breakfast, close to Baveno port and stresa is 5 km distances. Excellent direct private beach and nice back side set up with beach. Large place private packing. Even big bus can park here.
Value for money if you book the hotel directly.
Thank for the great stay , highly recommended

The views are lovely. The property is directly on the lake with a choice of park area, terrace or beach terrace when outside. It is a full service hotel with that criteria of class and formality that many hotels in this category have lost over the years. It has all comforts yet it is not large. The breakfast room and aperitif area have a stunning view over the lake. It is family owned and the founder, G. Racchelli was an artist, his works adorn the walls of the hotel creating a special atmosphere.

Lovely little family hotel on shore of lake Maggiore with fantastic views of the lake from room balcony and also breakfast room. Very helpful staff and good value for money. Also good parking facilities....would recommend!

Nice place, comfortable, but the location is confusing to get to the first time if you use GPS and the WiFi is slow compared to average.
