Hotels on first line in Sardinia

The hotel has an excellent roof top bar and spa with spectacular views of the harbor. Close to all restaurants, bars and shops. The room are small but cozy and designed with a beach harbor theme

We were lucky to be able to book the Junior Suite overlooking the marina and beach. This Hune visit offered less crowds and slightly lower prices than the peak season

Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great! The view from the breakfast seating area can not be beat!

The staff was friendly and super helpful we show up early and they offered us free cocktails on their outside bar patio overlooking the harbor and beach

Cala Gonone is a lovely compact village with an abundance of options for fun and good. Staff were extremely helpful when asked about local things to do

The breakfast is top notch! We were overheated and sunburnt one night and they let us borrow their front desk fan even

Not overly fancy but room was clean and hotel was well located. Easy to walk into town as well as park a car. It’s a great hotel for people who are looking for somewhere nice enough to stay while they explore the island

Good value hotel on the waters edge. Comfortable beds, good sized bathroom. Stunning views from our balcony. Breakfast included was a bonus

Great value for money. Rooms have balcony facing the sea, enough parking. The rooms itself are pretty basic, but given the price are well worth it.

If we were in our 20s this might be the right affordable place. Expect a dorm room feel with semi hard beds. It’s right on the water which is a plus but not reasonable beach area

To get to the beach you may see from your window you need to take a longer than expected circuitous route. We wished for stairs to the road above a number of times. Breakfast is unfortunately at 8am

The pool was about the right size for the hotel and there wasn't a rush for sunbeds which we really liked. In high season Phi Park could be a problem for noise, thankfully it was closed for the season while we were there

The hotel has its own beach which we didn't use due to staying around the pool area. We had a lunch time meal while we were at the hotel, it was very tasty

The cabanas at the Hotel's private beach are extremely comfortable and a perfect place to lie in the sun and enjoy the fabulous views with the beach bar close to hand. Once again, the perfect holiday

While we stayed near the end of the season, the Grand Relais Dei Nuraghi is an exceptional hotel. The rooms are nearly all suites in the grounds, all with their private patios or balconies

Only a 8 min walk to the town centre with lots of choice of restaurants. Some small lovely beaches a short distance walk from the hotel

If going back to Sardinia we'd definitely stay at the same resort and hotel. A big thank you to all the staff for your hard work to give guests a lovely time whilst staying at the hotel

A small stroll from a lovely beach and restuarant. The pool was gorgeous and never any problem with sun beds or over crowding

Good value for money hotel, with easy parking and swimming pool. Restaurant also very good, breakfast was very simple, but having a supermarket in front is great. Location is close enough to castelsardo

And middle way from a lot of beaches. Need a car from the hotel to move around

Would be nice a refurbishment and improve the clean. Far from the trips, need to rent a car. The restaurant is fantastic, best pizza. There’s a cafe near too, very nice. There’s a supermarket facing the hotel, helpfull

Excellent food and service, staff very friendly. Probably the best steak locally. Fish always top notch! Fillet steak in green pepper sauce, tender & more than enough for me. Sfilitato of Orata to die for. 5/5!

Nearly 100% Italian speaking, encouraging tourists to engage with the language in so far as possible. My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay in Aima and family's hotel and have no doubt will visit again

Very nice hotel, very clean - no doubts. We were staying here 7 nights, in July so in hot season. Very good location along coast to go left and right - we were driving from here to Alghero, Bosa, Palau

The hotel has an underground parking (against fee) and a free parking just 50 meters away down the street. Breakfast was included in the rate and was worth

Hotel is close to local "tourist" style restaurants, serving Italian cusine dishes. Walking distance to beach - 3 minuts. We preferred driving 10km west to wild, deserted, long and sandy beach like Bau Bau, or Di Sorso

Beautiful place with very nice people taking care of you. Near to the beach, great restaurant next door and just a 30 minutes walk to Castelsardo whit it's majestic castle and narrow medieval streets

Every day cleaning, changing towels, bath cosmetics - included. Bed clothes changing every 2-3 days. Large shaded terrace with sunbeds, chairs, coffe table - was a nice surprise

Location close to street is acceptable, after one or two days we used to noise of scooters and cars (this is reason why **** for location). They were not disturbing nights, traffic is rather small then

A 3 star hotel. You get exactly what you should for a 3 star hotel. Pleasant staff would get 4 stars if swimming pool open and kettle in room. Showers in room a bit small and it's worth paying for the sea view

I have thought carefully about what I have written, my intention is to be honest so that those reading the review get a real insight into what this hotel is like

Initially, I thought that words were getting lost in translation, I extended benefit of doubt but sadly this was not the case, had the attitude to making us feel welcome and a willingness to adjust been present I would not have given this damning review but if you want to spend your money, spend it elsewhere

Food Breakfast Breakfast was okay (although most would say poor), it did feel like we were in a time warp- the same every single day aside from when the kitchen served the tiramisu from the evening before for breakfast (the pizza left us so hungry that we went out to get more food and didn’t stay for the dry dessert)

We did get some eggs, super boiled a few days later! Dinner Who would have thought that we would come all the way to Sardinia to be served defrosted and stale focaccia with a topping as an evening dinner

Like normal people, we laughed, made conversation, tried to enjoy ourselves, however all this seemed to be a problem. If you wish to be around myopic, flat and dull people this is the place for you

Great location and staff! Hotel rooms are a bit old but nice balconies. The location is great with a beautiful terrace literally on the sea. The staff is very kind and serviceable. Will come back!

Will take your breath away! This place is amazing..the breakfast is yhe only thing lacking but who cares. Beautiful location with beach access and nearby restaurant and bar. Just enchanting!

Franco was delightful and provided fantastic service, thank you again, Properly is a bit run down and could use a renovation. We were a bit shocked at having to pay for beach chairs and towels

W la Sardegna Perfect location, the staff is helpfull and read your needs in advance. 1 amazing restaurant and 1 lounge bar with food option close by. Two option for the beaches, stones/ sand, and stone only

Picturesque location We stayed for 4 nights. Everyone was very friendly at the hotel, it was clean and comfortable. Lovely location with picturesque views over the ocean

Suggestions: the rooms don’t have coffee facilities, so we bought a travel kettle and our own coffee etc

Everything at this hotel was incredible. From the staff, to the services and the pool. One of the most beautiful pools I have had the pleasure of swimming in with a stunning view. I would 10/10 recommend staying here!

The best in Cala Gonone is that you can have amazing beaches with "aqua venere" at only a few kilometres from the hotel

We especially appreciated the amazing swimming pool, which was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere

The hotel is a good and clean place to stay. However, it takes about 20 minutes on foot to reach the beach (downhill on the way there, and a slow climb back up). There is a hotel shuttle service, but only until 7 PM

What I can highly recommend, though, is the guided boat tour with Luca – a fantastic trip along the most beautiful beaches on the east coast. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special

Unfortunately, almost everything comes with an extra charge, even pool towels or using the shuttle after 7 PM

It's a very nice hotel close to the beach. We enjoyed a lot the breakfast. The breakfast had a variety of the salty and sweet foods. There were various egg plates, pastries

Lovely hotel within walking distance to Calasetta town and the great town beach. Friendly staff, particularly at breakfast, and what a fabulous breakfast, with tasty savoury options and many, many cakes.

It is a good 3 star, tidy and clean, with an excellent breakfast and friendly staff. A little far from the center of Calasetta to do it on foot. Close to some prestigious beaches.

At the reception the gave us tons of tips of the must visit place, what to avoid because of the strong wind, restaurants around, shops worth visiting … ☕️ breakfast was great, with delicious coffee, fruits, fresh handmade bakery, sandwiches… super nice! Also they have turns so that it does not get packed and we feel comfortable

Quiet residential location, 10 minutes’ walk to Calasetta’s marina and centre. Spacious rooms with small garden, well-maintained hotel, and friendly staff. Continental breakfast with plenty of cakes (no eggs or bacon)

La Ghinghetta is just an incredible wonderful place! It’s located literally on the beach. The most rooms have windows or balcony’s with stunning sea view. The rooms are clean and beautiful, the beds very comfortable

The staff and owners of this hotel are all wonderful! There was an unfortunate malfunction with the air conditioning in our room on the day of our arrival, but the owners went above and beyond to make sure we were still taken care of

The staff were all friendly and very helpful, both leading up to and during our stay they were communicative about helping to make bookings for restaurants, a beach club, and a car hire

The breakfasts were phenomenal and with an epic view. Even with the pool being worked on, they worked out a different rate given these circumstances. The nearby spots are so amazing and it sure is a lovely town

The town itself is small and sleepy but has everything you need and the local beaches are beautiful and great for swimming. Don't hesitate to stay here if you're considering it!

Be sure to order the lasagna and the tiramisu—they were hands down our favorites! Also, we can't forget the cocktails, anything we wanted Rodney made for us! The hotel is nestled in a quiet, picturesque village that feels like a hidden gem

The atmosphere was calm and beautiful, perfect for a relaxing vacation. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. The location is great, close to beautiful beaches

They clean the rooms daily, very well, and it is rare, especially in Italy to have such clean rooms. The pool is good but it lacks shade during the day, although umbrellas are provided

Our stay at Nibaru hotel was excellent! We’ve enjoyed the excellent location with top beaches accessible under fifteen minutes

Rooms are bad isolated, if the people above you are not respectful and loud you have a bad time. The Pool Area was nice, chilled. To the service i would say there are different people around

I did not feel the breakfast was too good, as I do not eat sweet things my choices were limited, I ate scrambled eggs, sardinian sausage, oats and fruits for the five days, anyway after that I’ve discovered that you can get an even poorer breakfast at my next stay

The apartment no 3 which we’ve rented is very spacious, with access to an almost private garden, nicely decorated and had all the things we’ve needed, like a big fridge

Amazing resort with great pool and beach just beside the amazing sea caves and great hiking trails. Just super views, either beach sea views or huge mountains on the back, what else do you need?

Don’t really understand those negative comments here. Everything was great, staff, food, room has been cleaned everyday! Nice beach, 10 minutes walk from the city with shops and restaurants

Tutto Bello! Great entertainment. The reception was very friendly. I really enjoyed the activity about Sardinia. It felt great to be in Sardinia, and we also tasted delicious Sardinian dishes

And a beautiful sea and the Lungomare are within walking distance

Excellent service. Room deco a little dated and no WiFi. Food Excellent. Great snorkeling with an octopus on the beach!

Taxis are few and far between Not very accessible hotel however local beach did have a water wheel chair so wheelchair users can be safely supported into beach (unknown if cost) Receptionist spoke fine English, everyone else in town near by English wasn’t really used

And the chambermaids & breakfast staff were also super friendly (thanks for personally making me a decaf cappuccino :))

My girlfriend & I stayed here and it was great. Conveniently located next to the beach, and with parking in the back. Marco and the 2 ladies working at the front desk were welcoming & helpful

Absolutely incredible hotel! I stayed there for a week early June 2025 with my daughter on a half-board with dinner arrangement. Breakfast in the buffet with an enormous variety. Three course meals for dinner

Very good hotel with splendid English speaking service …( met 3 different receptionists, all three were as friendly and helpful ) compared to other places I have stayed in Cagliari this hotel really outranked higher starred places ! Hotel is little bit old but still comfy. The location is perfect at the sea about 50m from the famous La Pelosa. Careful it is essential to wear swimming hats to the pool.

Great stay overall, staff are great, food is brilliant, downstairs bar and restaurant area are modern, location is awesome. Can rent an ebike using an app, pool looks nice, can hike to Torre de Capo Falcone

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It's a 2 minute walk to a lovely beach. I got a good price for the time that I stayed and my room had everything I needed. The breakfast buffet was good and included in the room rate.

The hotel have a shortcut to beach which is convenient and the outdoor of the hotel is nice , furniture at room is too many and old

Did not read my book as was staring out to see 🤩. We had the most relaxing 4 day break here which was so needed. It’s only a 20 minute commute from the airport and so quiet and relaxing

The room was clean and basic, no tea or coffee was available nor water in the room if you arrived on a late flight

Pool was nice and plenty of loungers and seats. Room was cool and functional otherwise everything was a bit disappointing. Loud music until at least 11pm meant we struggled to sleep. Mould seen on pancakes at breakfast

Very nice staff in the pool bar who made the stay very pleasant. The breakfast was really boring and in 2 weeks there was no change in the food. The same spreads and other accessories

The hotel's beach does not have clear water and there you are disturbed by the staff who do water aerobics and play volleyball and put the speaker among the sun loungers

You hardly wanted to eat there in the end. the hotel is located a bit away so it is best to have a car to get to nice beaches
