Location is fine, rooms are clean and well kept but the place feels a bit abandoned and unloved. Staff is friendly and helpful, but all services (check in, breakfast) are in another hotel across the road, which means there is no security or supervision at all.

We were given a room without balcony, which was clearly offered in their listing. Without much ado they gave us a better room, saying they put 'the wrong photo' up and it had to be changed. The wrong photo is still up there, so beware.

Beds were absolutely terrible, but on the day we left (!) new matresses were delivered.

But wait: no wifi?! Are you even serious?

Wifi was only available in a cold, grey, empty room on the first floor, except when we really needed it, it was down completely.
This is unacceptable for a three star hotel. Especially since there were clearly hotel networks available in our room, but we didn't get passwords for those.

Great location, more than excellent breakfast in the sister hotel diagonally opposite. Hotel itself was unmanned. Everything in the room was from the 70s, old and worn but clean. However, the mattresses were so worn that you lay on the springs, very painful, and there was no WiFi in the rooms. For that you had to go to the unmanned reception. The shower was in dire need of replacing and on one of the last evenings there we found a large cockroach in the room.

Do not, I repeat, do not pay the city tax in cash to Barbara. She is at the front desk and when we arrived she asked for us to pay right away the city tax (6 euros) in cash only for our two night stay. When we checked out there was no information about this transaction. The other lady at the front desk called Barbara and she denied to have received it!!! I sincerely hope the owner of this hotel read this and pay more attention to Barbara’s behavior towards their customers. The reception is not on sight from the entrance, which is confusing. We had to park a few blocks away since they don't have parking on site. The hotel is very noisy at night. We heard some other clients complaining about the noise downstairs on Friday and Saturday night as well. The lady in charge of the breakfast room was nice and polite. The hotel was well located, but other than that it is not recommended.

Nice small hotel closed to cenral bus station (5 min. working) and to main historical points.

Very clean rooms with new furniture. Excellent location to visit Syracuse and Ortigia on foot. The breakfast bar staff are nice and so are the hotel reception staff.

Clean and well furnished and equipped rooms.
Friendly staff.
But the strong point of the hotel is its strategic position, a stone's throw from Ortigia, Fonte Aretusa, Porto Piccolo. Practically on foot you can easily visit the heart of the city.

The excellent breakfast offered with a ticket at the WE bar.

The only flaw, there is no parking reserved for the hotel, but still a few steps away there is a free parking area.
