I recently took a big trip to Italy and stayed at 8 different hotels- this one truly stood out as one of the best. Our room had an incredible view that I honestly couldn’t get over. The staff were wonderful: friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The location is perfect- beautiful and very walkable. And the breakfast was outstanding and high quality, easily the best buffet we had on our entire trip. I also booked a massage here, and it was genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had. The property itself is absolutely stunning, with panoramic views that made me want to take photos everywhere I turned. Having parking on-site was a huge bonus. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough!

How this hotel ever earned or managed to keep a 4-star rating is beyond me. The property is extremely outdated, dirty, and clearly lacking any attention to detail. You feel uncomfortable walking barefoot in the room — the floors just feel unhygienic. The bathroom looks like it’s straight out of the 1980s, with unpleasant tiles and worn-out fixtures. The room’s interior gives off strange, gloomy “medieval” vibes rather than any sense of comfort or style. The spa is a joke and in no way lives up to 4-star expectations. And to top it all off, when we asked for an iron, we were told they didn’t have one.

Honestly, I’d rate this place closer to 2 stars at best. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere — there are so many more charming and well-maintained little hotels around that offer a far better experience.

Beautiful property, friendly staff, nice breakfast buffet all made this place a great experience. We had multiple dining options within walking distance and cute shopping. The views are so good, they look fake.

Well, since I am a full blooded Italian I can say if you want to stay in an old Italian funeral parlor than this is the place. It could be an incredible place if it wasn’t so dated. Old, very old. Electronics not updated. Our TV was an old LG 20” that was so far away it was impossible to use. No updated places to plug in usb or charge cords. Old pictures on the wall faded or yellowed. The place is dingy. What could be a spectacular place was sorely lacking. We were supposed to stay for five nights and left after 3. Think twice before you commit.The restaurant was a surprise and not a pleasant one. Again, based on reviews I would have expected good service and good food. My food was inedible. I have never seen or experienced a veal osso bucco so poorly prepared.

What a wonderful experience it was to stay at Relais Vignale. It felt like I was staying in a beautiful castle. From the Reception staff to the restaurant staff - I could not have been made to feel more welcome. My room was amazing and it had the most incredible view across the Tuscan mountains. The food at the restaurant was fantastic (you must try the Ragu) and they had great quality wines. Located in the perfect position to explore this beautiful little town - I'd definitely recommend staying at Relais Vignale. I really hope I get back again some day.

From the moment we arrived we relaxed. The hotel has such a beautiful atmosphere and the staff are just lovely, so friendly and helpful particularly when you are travelling with a young g child. The hotel is spotlessly clean inside and out. The grounds and pool area are so pretty with a great pool bar for an Aperol spritz while gazing at the stunning view. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and plenty of fresh fruits and a very cool orange juice maker all eating in the restaurant with a breathtaking view and again wonderful staff. Thank you for looking after us, we had the best time and very much hope to return soon

My friend and I had such a relaxing time at Relais!! We both got amazing massages from Natalie, the staff helped me figure out how to get to Rome after, the rooms were GORGEOUS, the pool was spectacular and got great poolside drinks, and the food/wine was the best!!! Stay here for a romantic and relaxing getaway surrounded by Tuscany’s beautiful rolling hills and vineyards. Would definitely come back!

Relais Vignale exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and relaxed. The views over the Chianti hills are absolutely breathtaking — perfect for enjoying a glass of local wine by the pool.

Our room was charming and full of rustic character, yet had all the modern comforts we needed. Breakfast on the terrace was a highlight each morning: fresh pastries, local cheeses, and cappuccinos with a view!

The location is ideal for exploring the region — Radda in Chianti is a quiet, picturesque village with great restaurants and easy access to wineries.

Highly recommend for couples or anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic Tuscan experience. We can’t wait to come back!
