Everyone that works at this hotel was very helpful due to the Fall my wife had 2 hours after we arrived in Venice on Oct. 08, 2024. They allowed me to use their phone and computer as much as I needed. Today is Oct.17th and she is still in the hospital at this time with no release date being mentioned at this time

Great hotel close to the center of Venice. It’s clean, with housekeeping services, and it’s not too noisy. We received all the instructions by email and checked the correct entrance location on Google Maps, as the one on the map was incorrect. The hotel also has a nice lobby area. Highly recommended. Great location, a 10-minute walk from the main tourist areas, and on a fairly quiet street. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. The hotel is a bit hard to find, but the service is very old-fashioned and impeccable; it doesn't use room cards like in China, you open the door with a key.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The room however was very warm, found out on day 2 that the air con was controlled centrally so was sorted by reception as soon as I asked for it to be set to cool instead of heat. Bad climatization and dusty rooms

The location is perfect, right in the city center, but the building is quite dated, and everything rests in the capable hands of Speranza. She's a truly incredible woman, incredibly dedicated to her work and takes care of all the essential functions of the facility. But there's not even soap in the bathroom. Luckily, there's a market right behind it.

My wife and I came from Canada and spent the night in September at this hotel. The front desk manager Shrepsa made us feel welcomed and she made sure our stay was great. I highly recommend anyone visiting Venice to stay there.

A Bit Iffy Small room, which I expected. No soap, bad wiring (dangerous?), and loose faucet in bathroom. Seemed clean enough, but was warm and AC didn’t work well.

What was bad is that if you arrive after 3pm nobody is going to open the door of the hotel. You need to wait somebody (customer) to arrive so you can get in, and take the keys that are in an envelope with your name. You can be waiting there 40 mins. Other bad thing is that you don't have soap or shampoo in the room, so be aware of that and take it with you from home

We loved Dona Palace! It is in a great location on a canal in a relatively quiet area with a private water taxi dock. Very clean, spacious rooms, and a delicious complimentary breakfast.
