Amazing hotel! Located literally 5 minutes from the train station. All the sights are within walking distance. Breakfast was 10/10 – varied, delicious, and lots of fruit. The hotel gave us a complimentary welcome drink. The room itself was new, clean, and spacious. Comfortable mattress and pillows. I'd happily return and recommend it to my friends.
Very good Restaurent women was not very nice receptionist neither . Other guy was very nice , humble hotel
Good and economic place to stay in Venice. Of course you don’t stay in the hotel room for the entire day hence the view from the window doesn’t really matter.. very close from the place where the bus drops you from the airport. The person at the help desk was very helpful. He gave us the map of Venice and told about the routes of waterbus (the local transport in Venice of course on water) and how we...
Perfect location, nice price and cleaning service!
Situated 20 meters from a Grand Canal. 6-10 minutes walk from a bus station. 5 minutes from a railway station. Have a vapareto near. 24h reception. Nice and clean room. Little bit noisy from a street.
Service was very good, as the reception and breakfast was nice and helpful. The location was also extremely convenient, for it was right next to a boat station and the main train station. The room was rather dingy, with the floor being a hard and seemingly dirty polyester, but overall it was spacious and comfortable.

Lovely but the room was not the best value for price. I recommend requesting a room with nice view maybe on second floor beforehand if possible
The location of this hotel was its only good point! How it can be called a 4* hotel defeats me! There are no facilities, the breakfast was really poor and just not what you would expect from that hotel rating. Unfortunately I guess its a price you pay for booking while the Biennale is on its opening weekend.
Typical Venetian style hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable and location was good. Staff were helpful and friendly. We were on the ground floor - there was definitely a smell from the canal which wasn’t pleasant but unavoidable
Neda, Front Office help us check in during late night. She was friendly, helpful, elegant and full of service mind. She gave us deep information about Venice. Also Philippo waiter at restaurant was nice and funny. Overall, we very happy during stay. Only the bathroom was too tiny.
Central, very clean, and easy to find in a quiet location away from noise. They offer free coffee, tea, and cookies in the morning.
Quite centralised location however a little testing to pull the suitcase over the bridge . This hotel is located at a quiet corner thus a little scary to walk at night if you are alone.

This is a nice cozy hotel but by no means should qualify as a four star hotel. It felt more like a 3 star tbh.
Spacious jr suite with windows directly over the canal was just what we were looking for. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. A great location between San Marco and Rialto.
Did not have breakfast, had to be out the door before they begam serving it. Very accessible to shopping and dining.
It was located near the theater, walkable to all locations. Our room faced the garden. Rather small. There was no elevator to the second floor of the building where our room was. Not fun to walk the whole day in the city and then go through some weird passages to the room upstairs.
The staff were very pleasant and professional, and they were helpful when we asked questions about the area or needed assistance. And the property itself was well kept and pleasant. However, the room was really small and there was no shower, only a tub with a handheld spray attachment. But there was no shower curtain/glass, so using the sprayer was awkward, trying not to get water on the floor. Just...
You can walk to St.Mark's Basilica Square and the adjacent DOGE palace. It is a bit of walk to from where you land from public water taxi point. This hotel requires you to deposit keys to your room everytime you step out. Know the high city tax for this grade of hotel- it is around USD $12/per person/per room/per day that is not clearly disclosed while shopping or booking.

The hotel is a bit hard to find, but the service is very old-fashioned and impeccable; it doesn't use room cards like in China, you open the door with a key.
Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The room however was very warm, found out on day 2 that the air con was controlled centrally so was sorted by reception as soon as I asked for it to be set to cool instead of heat. Staff are very helpful and accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
Very nice hotel, clean, beautiful. Staff very nice, but the best was the bathroom/shower and firm mattress.
The space is comfortable and clean
Location is excellent close to main attractions.

I really wanted to love this place - Beautiful location, great breakfast, wonderful staff. The complaint - The mattress in the room was a killer. Made for the worst three nights of sleep Ive had so far in Italy. Hard to believe a hotel would still be using 40yr old mattresses. But maybe I slept on the same mattress Pavarotti, Corelli, or Freni slept on. That would have been worth not getting sleep...
What a lovely architectural design and wonderful atmosphere this cozy place offers. The antique-style interior made me enjoy using the stairs quite often. Not only because of the beauty of Venice, but also because of the superb hospitality of the hotel staff, my stay was truly memorable. Although I stayed in a small single room, it was more than sufficient for a solo traveler. The breakfast was delightful...
Hotel La Fenice et Des Artistes worked about as well as could be expected for a disabled traveler in Venice, but accessibility is mixed and requires planning. Entry & Access: Two steps to enter from the street. Entry goes into a glass foyer that requires a tight turn to access the building. I did not see a ramp at the entrance. Inside, there is a ramp connecting reception to the hallway with the elevator...
The room was big for 2 people. Our room was kinda cold, maybe the heater didn’t work properly and the fan was also not working after awhile. Beside that the location is good and the staff were very nice.
This hotel came as a pleasant surprise. Our travel agent booked at Fenice so we had no idea what to expect. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We never felt like we were bothering them. The pictures of the rooms online don’t do them justice. They are cute and super clean very well-maintained. The breakfast that is included is wonderful. I am so glad we had a chance to stay here and loved...
I took the water bus to the hotel, but there were a lot of stairs along the way, which was a bit difficult with luggage. The hotel itself feels a bit old. The elevator only goes up to the third floor, so you have to take the stairs to the fourth floor. The room wasn't particularly nice, but it was standard and I had no problems staying there.

So much dust in the room, but the drain has a modern design unlike traditional grooved pattern which good.
Our stay at Palazzo Veneziano was brilliant. The hotel is in a great location on the south coast, and within walking distance of all the areas of interest. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff were extremely polite, professional and helpful. We will definitely be coming back for our next trip to Venice!
The hotel enjoys a great location, with good restaurants in the surrounding area and comprehensive facilities.
I just spent two nights at the Palazzo hotel in a junior suite and was completely satisfied. The front desk was courteous and attentive to your needs. They were helpful in reserving a water taxi for me. The room was spotless, the bathroom was large and the rain shower head was perfect after a long day of touring this beautiful city. Great service very friendly staff! Our room was beautiful and had a small sofa which they made up as a bed at our request. Breakfast everything you could imagine including espresso and cappuccino. Staff are lovely and friendly, it was really helpful that we can leave our luggage. Check in was very quick and convenient. Breakfast was very nice. The room condition can be a bit old and the plugs and cables could be dangerous as some were exposed. Other than that, happy with the stay
We stayed at Pesaro Palace in the Junior Suite with two friends and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, beautiful, and very elegant. The food was delicious, and the location was absolutely perfect. Highly recommended!

Excellent location in a historic castle. Very convent with a Vaporetto stop only a few steps away from the entrance.
The location is ideal! A short walk to San Marco but far enough away to feel removed from the large crowds. A water bus stop next to the hotel is very convenient! The bar and restaurant manager, Matteo, makes a fantastic Negroni. Will certainly stay there again!
Glorious location on the Grand Canal. The staff was excellent-clearly the most professional people are hired by the management. Breakfast, cocktail hour, and dinner were all delicious-we had no desire to look elsewhere when we could sit outside on a terrace next to the Grand Canal. Umbrellas protected us from a brief sprinkle of rain. The recommendation to visit Murano via water taxi was much appreciated...
We absolutely loved staying at Hotel Palazzo Stern! It was perfect in every way-the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Thank you Sabina for all of the great communication prior to our arrival and help during our stay! We will be back❤️
As charming as it gets! Stern was absolutely charming. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean and well appointed. The downstairs bar was wonderful. You could get a drink and sit out on the veranda and watch the grand canal. Venice was super crowded the weekend we were here, but the hotel was quiet. Would definitely stay here again. Love Venizia!!!
Palazzo Stern, a boutique hotel right on the Grand Canale in the Dorsodoro sestierè, was a wonderful spot in May.The outdoor terrace for breakfast and dinner is romantic and magical, a front row seat to Venetian day time water life and nighttime beauty. Our room was well appointed and immaculate. The hotel’s location is optimal, easy walking to all sights and far less crowded than main tourist areas

We really liked this hotel. The location was perfect, city center. The rooms were very clean and cozy. The service was very friendly, they helped us with everything. The breakfast was very tasty. We will definitely recommend this hotel. You are the best!
Great location! Very comfy bed and the room was fantastic!! The breakfast is super yummy with lots of bits to choose from. We had a problem with our Aircon but the hotel staff were very attentive and got it fixed right away.
We stayed on 11 May 2025 for one night. Overall a great experience. Some suggestions 1) Hotel needs a better sign for people to figure out the name 2) The Map they provide does not help in navigating because I could not see most of the landmarks mentioned on the map 3) Better services for housekeeping
The location of the hotel was perfect. The staff was very kind and helpful even with tens of questions we asked, they answered all of them with patience and tried to help with everything. The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was good and everything was fresh. Room was right size.

A warm welcome from the entire hotel team! The front desk staff were very attentive to us 😊 Great location! The breakfast was very good and complete 😋
This hotel is located opposite St. Mark's Square, by the Salute port and church, requiring a boat ride to get there. It's very close to the Accademia Gallery and the Guggenheim Museum. The area is filled with art shops and galleries, and it's wonderfully quiet, away from the bustling commercial streets. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the breakfast is excellent, served from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Positives: Traditional Venetian hotel, very conveniently situated. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean (but a little small) and well serviced, bath robes and slippers provided. With a fantastic terrace that overlooks the lagoon, an elevator and its proximity to both the vaporetto and the alilaguna, this hotel can make for an excellent choice for people that don't want to lug bags up and down the stairs of Venice. Just back from a lovely 2 day stay at Palazzo del Giglio. From the communication prior to arriving to leaving this morning, the whole experience was first class. Got a waterbus directly from the airport (approx 1 hour on the orange line) A 2 minute walk from the stop to the hotel. Lovely location in a quiet square. Hotel is very traditional, spotlessy clean and very central. Thanks to Chiara and Slyvia...

Good hotel with small rooms but well maintained. Breakfast service is great. Very close to water and water taxi station

Our room wasn't gian but we had a private balcony each morning where...
