Where to stay in Italy

We stayed at the resort the first two weeks of August. The location is lovely, has great potential, and could be top-notch with some updates to the various accommodations, such as the wooden villas, which are very cute but in need of renovation due to their age. The resort is very close to the sea, about a 3-4 minute walk away. Unfortunately, the food leaves a bit to be desired in terms of quality...

My experience was a 50/50. The three stars were given both for the convenient location and the entertainment, which literally saved our vacation. We stayed in the brick villa, which was quite disappointing. The room smelled musty, and the kitchenette was filthy, with dirty utensils and cutlery. The hotel's location is not far from the bus stop, metro station, and airport shuttle stop, which was incredibly convenient for our early morning trip to the Vatican. The hotel is in a decent location not far from Trastevere. I got an older room clearly not like the ones the hotel is promoting. It had a small kitchen. But had nothing for it, not even some utensils. The room was big but dated. Wouldn’t mind staying again. My room was by the road and was a bit noisy at times from the road.

The rooms on the top floor of the building appear to have been created following an expansion that wasn't very ergonomically successful. Routine maintenance work is rough, with obvious paint chips and smudges. The room was quite dirty, especially under the bed and on the floor. The electrical system needs updating.

The staff were lovely and the family room was fantastic for travelling with two toddlers. All the major sites were really easily accessible from the bus stop nearby and there was a great supermarket just around the corner. I would definitely stay at Hotel Ripa again.

Nice hotel with a modern vibe. Good breakfast. If you’re looking for a crash pad in a good area then stay here. The staff couldn’t care less if you’re staying there. They don’t even bother with a greeting, let alone a smile. It’s quite bemusing as I live in Europe and travel a lot, especially to Italy.

Excellent Hotel, where people make the difference :-) Impressed by the high quality and delicious food. Roof top bar has been recently renovated. A nice bar and pools are inviting to relax. I looked at a bunch of hotels in Milan for New Year's Eve, and this one has a great location. Even though the hotel is a bit older, the service was really good, and the breakfast was delicious, definitely catering to Chinese tastes.

Yh really enjoyed the stay hotel was actually really clean and amazing staff where really helpful aswell. I came to Milan mainly to visit lake como so it was only a 3 day trip but one thing about me I need a good bed to sleep in so i don’t feel, and the bed was really comfy

Everything else is good except the parking issue. Advertised as free parking but has only a handful of parking spaces available whilst there is a huge parking lot that is paid parking. Collecting my checked-in from the locker room takes a century because there is only one person manning the front desk who also handles guests' luggage.

Food not great, the pool is far from ideal and the rooms on the ground floor are a night mare as you can hear everything happening in the corridor / other rooms. To give the overall fair view, beds are very comfortable, the staff is very helpful and the airport is very close (Linate).

Hi, the daily park fee was 20 euro. I stayed less than 24 hours there but paid each of my leavings. Total 28.50 euro. I see the first time here this kind of parking policy.

This hotel was the most expensive during my trip to Italy, yet the room was small and the soundproofing was terrible – I could clearly hear noise from the hallway. It's about an 8-9 minute walk from the train station, which is its only real advantage in terms of convenience.

Overall, the room was decent. It's very close to the train station, and there are plenty of food options nearby, which is really convenient. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit. This hotel is worth considering.

This time I booked for my colleagues. They said the double bed was uncomfortable and should be made of 2 single beds. The hotel boasts a magnificent spiral staircase and spacious hallways. The rooms are luxurious, bright, and quiet and comfortable. The service is attentive, with complimentary champagne and fruit. The Italian breakfast is exceptional, and the restaurant even features evening performances. The doorman helpfully calls taxis, making it very convenient to reach major attractions.

All the staff I met were very warm and friendly. My wife had some health problems during the trip. The hotel's housekeeping manager, lobby manager, lobby staff, and housekeeping staff all took the initiative to provide us with a lot of help at the first time. They provided us with a lot of security when we were helpless. I am grateful. The room service was also great.

From the moment I arrived I was greated well with receptionist Danial , Room was clean and has all the thing I need. Location of the hotel is superb, near a metro station and all other places there. It was a way from the tourist crowd so there was no noise and easily you can get from there to the city centre. I would definitely be back again to the hotel.

Overall a great hotel in a good location. Station is not far away and close to Vatican city. Very safe surrounding. I booked a twin room but surprisingly they had a bit of hard time in finding me one. At the end I got a king bed room instead. Service is alright but I did experience much better one in other NH hotels.

My Master Card on Apple Pay got locked by Card Wise without warning and the two ladies from the day shift reception helped me out. Excellent location just opposite to central station but 15-20mins to Piazza Maggiore/the old town centre. Service was very good, especially concierge. Very spacious room size. We are on the 7/F and got a view overlooking the city. The only issue was the sink drainage was not good and overflown. Overall good experience and recommended.
