We enjoyed our stay in Villa G but were disappointed in the lack of clarity of the location of the villa. We read all the print of the booking but apparently missed text on a photo stating that the villas were located far away from the hotel. Due to this location, we had a 30 minute walk to one shuttle bus and over a 45 minute walk to restaurants in Echoland, and the hotel provided no shuttle anywhere. Since we did not find out the location until the week before email, we were too late to find any hire car available for the week. Relying on taxi's and Ubers was difficult as they are few and far between in Hakuba. Many taxi companies did not even answer the phone so we asked the hotel if they could help us book. We felt like a burden while emailing staff as they did not seem to want to help us navigate transportation or luggage transfer, when most tips online said to consult your hotel reception. In the end, while the accommodation was fine, the unhelpful staff left us unable to recommend a stay here.

Stayed at Reposer Hakuba in Nagano and had a great experience. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to the day. Would happily stay here again.

Reposer cabin cottage is a winter/summer house. There is a small natural stream right at the back, which is great. The cabin is a bit worn but it still has all it takes to provide a great accommodation. Location wise, you need a car in hakuba to move around anyway so the distance to anything is not to concern. Its a 5 min drive to everything. The service is hugely great. The staff is very helpful. We havent been to hakuba before so we didnt plan for a car rent. The staff managed all things for us and even give a ride to iwatake. Overall, this is a great choice.

They refuse to provide service to pick up us at JR station with reason peak season although it shows the have pick up service when we booked hotel. We booked the rooms with billa type but we hv no idea that it locates about 4km far away from reception location where shows in trip.com and google map. We realize the actual location when hotel reply my email that no picking up service and share the location in mail. Villa is ok but it would be goid in case you have car.

There is a pick-up service to the ski resort, which needs to be booked in advance. It is very convenient. It can also pick up and drop off at the bus station and other places. The service is very good. Breakfast and bar drinks also need to be confirmed in advance.

The appearance of the hotel is very beautiful, which is one of the places that attracted me to book. The interior is very rural, simple and tidy. I highly recommend this hotel for skiing and mountaineering.

The hotel is so beautiful, there are many foreigners, the quiet and beautiful Baima Village is super comfortable! The scenery is super beautiful! The facilities are very new and Hakuba is also beautiful in other seasons!

Not the best.
The positives: The staff were very nice, the shuttle drivers were great and the cabin was clean. It was peaceful and quiet.
However, if we had known that the cabin was 2 km away from the hotel, we probably would not have stayed. I booked it because of its proximity to echo land. However, the cabins were located 2 km outside of town, and although there was a shuttle it would’ve been super helpful to have a car. in addition, the cabin was very cold. The heater smelled like gasoline and did not adequately heat the cabin. Although the staff gave us two space heaters when we use them, it would blow a fuse in the fuse box. So we were very uncomfortable and cold for most of our time spent at the cabin. Because of that I would not recommend.
