I stayed there 15 years ago. Very nice and spacious indoor and outdoor onsen. Walking distance to ski resort and cable car. Beautiful mountain view in winter.

I remember three strong impressions.

(1) We missed the train at Shimano and took a taxi to get there, reaching at midnight. The ons was already closing but the staff allowed my family to bath there.

(2) My sisters woke up late but they went out of the way to prepare some breakfast for them.

(3) On the last day, we had to leave early to catch the train. As we had to miss our breakfast, they packed a rattan box with a pieces of onigiri for us to eat along the way. The onigiri came with simple ingredients such as pickled plum and it was filling.

These three gestures touched my heart and I remember them till this day!

Absolutely awesome hotel, great breakfast, beautiful Onsen, 5 min walk to a Happo lift and great rooms. An easy 5/5!

Bonus points for 200 yen massage chairs!!

Stayed here for 8 nights, the hotel staff are super friendly! The onsen is excellent and breakfast has a good variety, close to Iimori and hakuba 47 bus stop and short walk to the local Happo lift. Perfect spot.
The only recommendation i would ha e for the hotel is to have a Room tvs that have access to streaming services such as netflix or phone projection connectivity.
Would 100% stay here again.

Amazing place to stay in Hakuba Happo area to snowboard. Our room was spacious and clean with a great view. Bathroom was a bit small but nothing out of the ordinary. The public onsen was wonderful, with a beautiful Roten (outdoor) bath - would definitely recommend staying here just for one night to experience the bath.
Plenty of option at breakfast (Western & Japanese). Food was made fresh.
Staff were friendly and helpful. They have a shuttle service that you must book a day ahead, the driver was super friendly and knowledgeable as well. Plenty of English speaking staff.

Would love to stay again if we're back in Hakuba.

Basic hotel with limited charm and atmosphere.
The service is functional but remains very standard. On one occasion, I arrived at 7:45 pm hoping to have dinner, but I was not allowed to order anything, even though I was returning from a medical appointment.

The common areas and the onsen felt cold during our stay.

The restaurant is clearly tourist-oriented, with food lacking depth and character.

The hotel works as a place to stay, but it did not leave a memorable impression.

The rooms are lovely, we had views and lots of space for a family. The staff was fantastic and the food at the hotel was outstanding. Happy hour for 500Y was a very nice touch.

Any issue and you are well looked after; here you will find the flexibility that a westerner appreciates but sometimes finds lacking in Japan.

Will definitely be back again!

All types of food. Both Western and Japanese. Friendly and reasonably priced. Fitted a group of 10 in on NYE with short notice.
