Lovely family run hotel in the wonderful Hakuba. Given this was our first time skiing, we really appreciated how much Monica and the team when above and beyond for us. Nothing was too much trouble, including lifts to town and we loved the extra items such as free icy poles, massage chairs and of course the onsen/sauna/ice bath. All questions were answered on skiiing ways, and the food was lovely also.

I had a wonderful stay in Hakuba Yamano Hotel. The hotel owners are very friendly and helpful. My son left his backpack in Shirakawago. Mr Keita helped us to call the tourist information centre in Shirakawago and made arrangement to send the backpack to our next hotel. As it was our first time went to a place with snow, we did not know that we had to wear googles to prevent snow blindness. Luckily, they had spare googles and lent them to each of us. Ms Monica was very nice too. She drove us to a place where my sons could play with the snow just beside a river and also she drove us the Happo One ski resort. She also arranged someone to pick us up and sent us back to the hotel. There are onsen, washing machines, drying machines, free ice creams and nice massage chairs as well. The hotel rooms are very clean. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Overall, my family and I really enjoy our stay at Yamano Hotel.

Treasure Hotel, the boss couple are very nice, basically meet all the requirements (including ski resort pick-up and early use of hot springs), the hotel layout is very cozy, many small details make people feel very warm, including the freedom to enjoy the massage chair after soaking in the hot springs, and free popsicles. The ski resort is not far away, you can ask the boss to drive you, it only takes about a minute to drive, it is a great experience.

The room is very clean and tidy, the breakfast is also very exquisite, the boss is handsome and gentlemanly and also provides pick-up and drop-off service at the bus station

Each of us are So glad to have stayed at this wonderful hotel. The staff are so beautiful and helpful. Beds and rooms comfy, breakfast and dinners so yummy. It has such a great view of the jumps and mountains, very pretty. Two of our party were injured and the staff were very helpful helping us organise medical treatment. Great storage/drying room. Very helpful and friendly shuttle service. A very short walk into the centre of town or closest lift. The Onsen and massage chairs are divine. Has easy was/dry machines. The free little ice creams yummy. A great location and stay for us all. Not one of us could fault it.

Great place.

Clean, quiet, neat, cozy. Excellent food. 5 minutes walk to the Happo-One Snow Resort ski slope. Good wi-fi.

Friendly hosts. Very cozy and quiet. After the slope, you can relax in the onsen.

We are a family of five and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hakuba. The hotel is spacious, clean, has great food and the hosts were fantastic in sharing their local knowledge of best places to eat and to ski which helped us immensely on our first visit to Japan. They were also very generous with their time driving us to restaurants and bus connections. The hotel itself is very picturesque and is perfectly located within walking distance to the Happo-One ski chairlifts. It also has easy access by shuttle bus to the other ski fields in the area.
