It's okay. It's my second time staying here. I think it's the same room. It's a 1-minute walk to Slo and 5 minutes to Suba.Kyoto. So I highly recommend it. It's very close to the river and the price is reasonable.

The room is old. Typical Japanese style. The room is bigger than expected. But the bathroom is super small. The toilet is facing the bathtub diagonally. Surprisingly, there is a big bath on the first floor. It's not big. But I was quite satisfied to go there alone for a bath at night.

The room is quite large and the service is also very good. It's just a few steps away from the Kamo River beach, which is great for running and walking.

It was a fantastic stay. It snowed in Kyoto the night we checked in, but the hotel room was bright, spacious, and warm, making me feel completely relaxed. As a check-in gift, I received a Demachifutaba (named after bean cake) that I had been planning to buy the next day. It was such a treat! I have never had a hotel exceed my expectations in so many ways. The location is slightly away from the busy part of town, and after a day in Gion, that's exactly what I needed. The complimentary gifts and cosmetics were better than I had ever experienced. The staff was incredibly friendly and did their best to see that I had everything I needed. This is an old local guesthouse. While the facilities aren't on par with a star hotel, its value for money is excellent. The rooms feature a tatami-style futon right on the floor, and there's also a small public hot spring bath. Overall, highly recommended!

The place was so good I didn't want to check out. So cosy, client friendly, traditional Japanese style, a great window view - all made it one of my most memorable hotel stays. Soft tatami beds, wooden decor elements - wow, I wish I could live there.

In general it’s pretty good in C/P, room is a bit small but totally fine for 2 people. Only 1 thing for foreigners is that doesnt have private bath room. This only has public bathroom.

Probably one of the best hotel I have stay in Japan!! Large and comfortable room with premium amenities by ELLE (first time I saw a hotel using ELLE brand) and the interior design is awesome! Also there are free beers and snacks at the lounge. And there will be a lot of nice whiskies during the bar hour!! I would definitely come back when I travel to Kyoto again!!

The best part was that there was a Hakusanyu hot spring across the street. It only took a minute to get back to the hotel after using the hot spring. Let's start with the positives: for the price, it's pretty good. The location is excellent, just a 7-minute walk from Kyoto Station, only two streets away, and right next to Yodobashi. The room amenities are all there, and the front desk staff are friendly. Now for the negatives: the bathroom is very small, the shower is extremely low, the electrical equipment is outdated, and it's a bit noisy.

First off, the location is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station. The facilities are comprehensive, with a washing machine, fridge, and microwave. You can even see the tip of Kyoto Tower from the window! Every day when we returned, we were greeted warmly, and the environment and cleanliness were both excellent.

The Wi-Fi wasn't great, but the room itself was quite spacious. The facilities were a bit old but still functional. The front desk staff could speak a little Chinese and were pretty friendly and helpful.

This property was in the heart of it all but tucked away on a quiet side street. It has everything you could need in a stay. As if you were living in your very well appointed own apartment in the city.
