Hotel Gajoen Tokyo in Tokyo

I've been to Gejoen multiple times and I was never disappointed. Definately one of the best hotels in Tokyo.

Stayed one night. The room is spacious and very clean. The garden on the 1st floor is exquisite. Unfortunately the Hyakudan Kaidan was not open. The service is impeccable. Highly recommended

We had the most incredible stay at Hotel GAJOEN Tokyo—truly the most beautiful hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Every detail is thoughtfully designed in stunning Japanese style, creating such a peaceful and elegant atmosphere.

Our room was exceptionally spacious, perfect for our family, and having a private steam room and jacuzzi in every room was such a special touch. We also loved spending time in the lounge, especially during happy hour—the food and drinks were amazing!

The service, the ambiance, and the overall experience were unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!

The hotel is beautiful, room was very spacious and comfortable, every possible detail thought of. Our room had ample closet space for a family of 4, gorgeous washroom with every possible toiletry provided (including face cleanser, toner, lotion, face masks - amazing quality). We loved the extra touches like comfortable bathrobes and pyjamas, the nice aroma throughout the hotel. The breakfast spread was amazing - do not miss it. We like the quite location away from the hustle and bustle but still very easy to get everywhere and access subway/trains.

Outstanding service, beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms. We are a family of four that traveled from Seattle and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, we especially loved the city views and the turn-down service every night. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was delicious. We found the location to be convenient and we liked that it was in the city but not in the insanely busy areas like Shinjuku/Shibuya which were a bit overwhelming! We were sad to leave!

My experience at Gajoen Tokyo was nothing short of excellence. The staff were always warm and welcoming, maintaining a high level of hospitality despite the language barrier. The room cleaning service was exceptional, always leaving me speechless from the sheer tidiness and care into organisation. The lounge offered outstanding food, setting a new standard that is hard to match. The hotel also had impressive infrastructure and deep cultural heritage, I would definitely recommend taking the cultural tour offered by the hotel to get a more in-depth experience.

A bit of a mixed bag. The location is a bit further away from shinjuku Roppongi etc. Most tourist things aren’t super close. The lobby is a long walk to the elevator. It’s very Las Vegas in that way. The hotel is enormous and a popular place for whatever the Tokyo version of prom is. Tons of kids in traditional rental dress taking pictures by the waterfall in the lobby. Food is decent but overpriced. The check in is odd on the 8th floor. The floor is pumping with internal perfume they use. The perfume is also pumping in each floor of the guest rooms. Very strong perfume. No other hotels of this star class supposedly had the pumping perfume. The room was very large with a nice view of the river. Two tvs and two toilets. The bathroom was functional but not immaculate cleanliness. The fixtures were dated circa 1995. There was a smell in both the shower and the steam room. For the price and star class usually soft drinks are included but not here. The breakfast is nice but expensive for what it is. It’s justified at the okura but here feels like a reach. Service was excellent however. And some beautiful artwork with the dated decor.
