Victoria Hotel Naha, Naha1 / 30
7.7
Kyushu, Naha, Wakasa 2-2-12 🧭 Map
Great location, about a kilometer from Kokusai Dori.
Central location, convenient stores and eateries nearby. 10 min walk to monorail. Hotel is quite old. Clean and decent size room for our family.
Nice and big room I really like the bathroom side
Great location and next to a Lawson. Only downside was the small room but good enough for one night.
Nice hotel. It's a bit of a walk - about ten minutes plus - from the monorail if coming from the airport. There's a Lawson right next door which is handy.
Good value hotel to stay before mountain hike

Lovely hotel close to the station conveniently located . ..
Excellent location near shopping center, JR station, and famous attraction. Good stay. But the room a bit smaill
Dated hotel, but they have been trying to renew. Great location (across from the JR station and beside the SaintCity Mall), plenty of food and shopping nearby. Old bathroom (unit type), parts of the room is renewed (carpets etc) but other (light controls, plugs) are quite old. And you get actual keys (its been a long time since I got an actual key in Japan, most have changed to key cards (other than...
Very strategic location, it’s about 300-400m from the train station. The hotel offers 24 hour FOC breads, snacks, coffee etc. All guests are allowed to enjoy the snacks after checkin before checkout. The bed is typical Japanese bed size, small for two person as it’s smaller than a queen size bed. The room’s light is dim though it has a controller to set the brightness. One big negative point to note...
This hotel locates near by the Kokura train station makes it one of the most convenient hotel I have ever lived. Unfortunately I could only reserve a smoking room, but the smell was not too strong to clear out by some splash. I would suggest the manager to inform smoking customers not to smoke in the bathroom, in order to avoid the smoke on the shower curtain. And the services are pretty good provided...
The room while small, was efficient enough to fit both a large and small suitcase. It might feel a bit tight for those used to spacious accommodations, but it worked fine for me. However, the bathroom equipment is a bit dated, overall for the price and location, it's a solid choice for anyone looking for convenience and friendly service near Hakata Station.

Front desk staff are nice. Reception only opens till 12midnight, we almost couldn’t check-in as we’d arrived late. Some strange smell from the toilet, but overall the room is clean.
It is just opposite to Danguo Market, and the dining area is opposite to Danguo Station. The hardware equipment is a bit old, and the breakfast is quite ordinary, but the dining area is very Japanese drama-like. It wins in terms of cost performance.
It is within walking distance from Kokura Station, and is right in front of the monorail's Tangaichiba Station, so it is easily accessible. It was perfect for a solo traveler or someone just staying overnight.
It was a great place to stay. Small bathroom, but average space room. It was a comfy bed with window behind. It was neither cold not hot at night. Amenities were nice. Just pick everything up on the second floor.
The room is very small and there are not enough sockets, but it's only over 400 during holidays, what else can I say.
The rooms are a little old, but they are well-cleaned and have good security. One of the hotel's special features is that you can get free rice balls in the dining room until 9am. The woman at the front desk is very friendly and polite. It's a very warm place.

A nice and clean hotel with tasty breakfast included. The staff are friendly. Some speak good English. They are all very helpful. The breakfast is something you can’t afford to miss. It’s much better than the Toyoko Inn’s. The hotel is at a very convenient location.
Close to the subway, so the location is convenient. The hotel breakfast could be improved with more variety.
REALLY GOOD LOCATION NO NEED TO SAY MORE THAN THIS perfect and kind front desk staff too love it
They are so kind, the facilities are great, and the location is the best!
Room is good enough, Breakfast is good
Overall, it was a great stay for a solo traveler. The bed was spacious and the location was good, with a convenience store and subway right in front. However, when I first filled the bathtub with water after arriving, a blackish substance like grime floated in the tub... I was shocked. I cleaned it again with the brush provided in the room. The staff were friendly, but the facilities were lacking....

It's located in the center of Nago city and has good access. I only stayed overnight, but the room was comfortable and perfect for a night's stay.
It's a good value for money and it smells a bit. I just skipped breakfast.
It's a standard business hotel. There are many bars near the hotel, so it's nice to be able to walk home after drinking. It's just right for a room only stay.
Solid hotel in Nago, close to the city centre! Ideal after a cycling trip and to explore Nago area; it's near the Nago mountain, and close to the beaches nearby, as well as many restaurants! Had a great time here. The hotel room had a bath, which I enjoyed after a full day of walking, swimming, and cycling! I added some pictures of the cycling, the waterfall nearby, the road nearby, and the view at...
Clean and tidy! Use the key to open the door! The hair dryer needs to be borrowed from the counter downstairs! The space is quite large, and the suitcase can be unfolded! There is a refrigerator, TV and dedicated wardrobe area.

We had a great two-night stay at Lamp No Yado onsen hotel. The onsen was spacious and relaxing, and the meals included in the hotel were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. On the 2nd day, our room's TV was not working and the staff promptly replaced it when we were out, which truly appreciated. One suggestion would be consider providing a complimentary shutter service...
Very clean courtyard hot springs, suitable for families and couples traveling together.
a bit away from the main precinct, but got it's own onsens which is good
Everything was great – the location, the stay, and the food!
The hotel staff were all incredibly kind and genuine. A special thank you to the front desk team for accommodating my room change request during check-in. I'm also very grateful for their help during check-out when they solved my charging issue and even gave me a charging cable. Their hospitality was truly heartwarming. Thank you!
Both dinner and breakfast were incredibly rich and satisfying. The Kagoshima beef practically melted in my mouth – so fragrant and delicious! The onsen (hot springs) are private, family-style rooms, and the reception area has heating and complimentary drinks, perfect for a relaxing break after a soak.

Don't rely on old reviews! This hotel has a long history of hosting sports training camps, but it's been renovated and is very clean and comfortable. The circuit breaker was fixed promptly, and the staff were very accommodating. (They offered to move...
Although the previous reviews were negative, I stayed here for work for five nights, with dinner and breakfast included. There's a large public bath and sauna, and the rooms are a combination of Japanese and Western styles, so they're incredibly comfortable. Most importantly, the food was incredibly satisfying! 🍴🈵️😆 I ate dinner, then breakfast, then no lunch (lol). There are no convenience stores...
We stayed here for 8 days during a training camp from Osaka. I don't think old reviews are helpful. The hotel was renovated. I've been to many training camps in the past, but the food was excellent in both quantity and flavor, and our group of 30 growing university students was very satisfied. Thank you to all the staff who looked after us. The large public bath was thoroughly cleaned, and the shampoo...
Our room is on the first floor. It is too cold in winter. The air conditioning and heating are insufficient. The room is large. The service and dining are great, especially the dinner.
I stayed at the Aoshima Suikoen Hotel at the entrance to Aoshima for one night without meals😊 The room was a twin room with two double beds and a Japanese-style living room, so I was able to relax very much🛏️ I think that not only Japanese people, but also foreigners who are interested in Japanese-style rooms will be able to relax in the bed and Japanese-style room😁 However, the large public bath and...

It did gave us an experience staying in a trailer accommodation with very affordable price and the location was good to explore up north. A personal parking beside the trailer added to the convenience. Surrounding was quiet with 7-11 at the entrance and few eateries within walking distance. We stayed 5 nights at the Beach Resort Kalakaua in a Family Cottage. It was a good size for 2 friends and all of our diving equipment; comfortable, and spacious! The room was clean, and we were given enough towels and toiletries to last 5 days. The location was walking distance to the beach, a few restaurants, and right by the 7-11 which was super handy. If you’re traveling solo and are not planning on staying in a resort then I’d definitely recommend here. I happened to find this hotel on a travel website and decided to stay there. The building itself is old, but it was carefully cleaned and I enjoyed my stay. The room was equipped with a washing machine, kitchen, and medium-sized refrigerator, making it a convenient hotel for those planning a long stay.
The location is great and convenient, with easy access to transportation and plenty of places to eat nearby.
The location is good, but the downsides are that the bed is a bit hard and the pillows are flat.
A fantastic experience! They offer cookware for rent and use an induction cooker. The hotel also provides Pocari Sweat powder and laundry balls. There's also a balcony in the room where you can dry your clothes.

HOTEL R9 The Yard Yatsushiro, Yatsushiro1 / 10
8.2
Kyushu, Yatsushiro, 1894-1 Nishikatamachi 🧭 Map
It was my first time staying in a container hotel, so I was a bit nervous, but it was much cleaner than an old business hotel, and it was quieter because the rooms weren't next to each other. Breakfast was a trendy frozen one-plate meal, and the coffee was authentic. It was so cheap I almost felt bad. I'd definitely stay again if I had the chance.
The hotel facilities are good, the rooms are large enough, the location is relatively far, only suitable for travelers who come by car. There are no facilities near the hotel, only one family restaurant, which is quite affordable! !
We booked a container room with two beds for a late-night check-in. Compared to the Deluxe Twin Room, it was not much space, but it was worth the money when we just needed room to sleep. The same container with a double bed has a massage chair to make a stay relaxing. So, after trying all three rooms, I realised that I will always choose R9 Hotel when I need to stay in the Yatsushiro area. Their facilities...
In a sense, it is a detached house, so you can spend time without worrying about the noise next door. The drainage of the washbasin was bad because of lack of ventilation. The door has a solid feel to it, and when it closes, it automatically locks and makes a lot of noise, so I want everyone to be careful. The smoking area is in a hopelessly depressing place, so I would like to ask for improvement
Because it is a style of one container per person, you can do it slowly. The inside of the container is the same as a normal hotel. Equipped with microwave, refrigerator, bathroom and TV. The room was quite clean and comfortable to stay. For a fee, there is also a coin laundry.
It was a normal hotel room! Very beautiful. The parking lot as soon as you leave the room is also highly rated. It was also nice to have one frozen pasta or pilaf. However, it's annoying to go to the lobby one by one to pour tea or coffee. There is only one pouring machine, and it takes a long time, so it's awkward if there are people waiting... It's better to put a few tea bags in each room, like...

The location is fantastic, near Kokusai Street, the cheap bar area, supermarkets, and the train station. The washing machine and bathroom dryer are very convenient. The staff were kind and even lent us clothes hangers. It would have been nice to have a mop or something similar for easy cleaning.
The room was clean. It's close to the monorail and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.
When I asked if they could hold my suitcase after checking out, they said they didn't offer that service. However, they searched the area for me and even called my room to let me know where I could find something. They found a coin locker nearby that could fit my large suitcase and told me about it, which was a great help. Thank you very much.

It's been a while since I last used the hotel. Apparently the parking lot has been expanded recently, but the day I used it, it was very busy and the one near the hotel was full, but the staff kindly came out and showed me the location of another parking lot. It was dark at night and I had trouble finding the location, so they were very helpful. Thank you very much.
The room space was just right for a business hotel, with a table that was just right for working on the computer, power outlets, Wi-Fi, and everything you need. Breakfast consisted of just two slices of bread and a drink. I would recommend this business hotel.
The room itself was okay... But the mattress they had was too hard. It was as if they forgot the mattress and just used the box spring.... I did not sleep well.

Thank you so much for all your flexibility and consideration. I appreciate your help.
It takes 10 minutes to walk from Sakuramachi Kumamoto Shopping Mall. It's nice to have an arcade shopping street near the hotel. The hotel facilities looked old, but overall they were good and the staff were very friendly.
The location is good as it's near the downtown area, but the building itself is old and has a charming atmosphere. The front desk is open 24 hours. It's a shame that the amount of hot water in the bath is not very strong.
I booked this place last minute while traveling on a budget. On trio.com it had pretty high ratings, though the Google reviews seem a bit outdated. Check-in was a little late (4pm), but aside from that everything went smoothly. Wi-Fi worked fine, and there was staff on duty 24/7. If you’re not expecting luxury but want something clean and well-located, this hotel is a great choice.
It's really great. Even I, who can't speak any Japanese, managed to check in without any problems.
The hotel is a bit dated, but considering the price, it was a truly satisfying stay. The location was also very close to the city center, and there was a convenience store right next door, which was nice.

Great location, nice cute onsen. Might be slightly understaffed, so the check in counter helps although having to ring a staff to use that counter kinda negates some of that automatic-ness.
Good location being right across the bus and train station. The staff are nice and accommodating. Went there earlier than check in time but I was able to leave my luggage. I checked in around 4 PM. I had booked a female-only dorm the day before, but the bed wasn't made, and the staff didn't seem particularly apologetic. A few hours later when I returned to the room, the bed had been made. The bathrooms and showers were clean and plentiful, which was a plus. Considering the location, I think the price is fair!
This hotel is located on a shopping street, with plenty of restaurants and izakayas nearby, making it super convenient. Although it doesn't have a parking lot and the bathrooms are shared, the overall cleanliness and relaxed atmosphere are great, making it perfect for a group of friends.
When I booked, I didn't realize it was more like a hostel, without private bathrooms, which was a bit inconvenient for a family trip. The room was clean, but the bed's support wasn't great; it creaked every time I turned over 🤣. There was an elevator, but it wasn't working, which made it a hassle to carry large luggage up and down the stairs.
There was a kitchen so we were able to easily cook what we bought.
I made some Turkish friends. There was one noisy Japanese guest, but the foreign guests were friendly and it was a very nice hotel. However, the bathroom and amenities were a bit lacking.
I stayed here on the way back from a drinking party in Naha. Thank you for your hospitality.
