Montan Hakata, Fukuoka1 / 30High rating
9.2
Kyushu, Fukuoka, Hakataeki Higashi 3-6-11, Hakata-ku 🧭 Map
We had a pleasant stay in a twin room- room is clean and quiet with a small balcony. Lobby has microwave and living room area for families. Staff can speak English and are very friendly. Will definitely stay here again if ever go back to Fuokuoka.
The staff is very accoomodating. The room is huge! I can just open my luggage all throughout my stay. I think you can open 3-4 large luggage inside the room. It's very clean and the communal lounge has a good ambience.
I was truly amazed by my stay at Montanbodo this time. The entire inn has a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The common areas are incredibly spacious and quiet, perfect for working or just relaxing. The staff are professional and enthusiastic, striking just the right balance. What impressed me most was the room size; even with two large suitcases laid out flat, there was still plenty of room to walk around...
First time staying in a dorm as a solo traveler, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. The receptionists were very kind and welcoming, which made the stay even more comfortable. The location is great too — only about a 10-minute walk to Hakata Station. The place was clean and well maintained. Of course, since it’s a shared dorm, you can sometimes hear other people moving around or talking. But...
The Japanese-style room had four tatami mats, and we had to make our own beds. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station, which is acceptable. The surrounding area isn't lively, and there isn't much around. The room itself was quite spacious, though, and we could fully open our suitcases.
First time staying in a hostel, and overall it was good, except for the top bunk being a bit inconvenient. You also have to be mindful of keeping quiet at all times and being extra careful when tidying your belongings. So, it's probably best for those with minimal luggage who just need a place to sleep.

Very clean. Great location easy to find and some Sake on arrival. Very kind staff
Good location. Lots of shopping and restaurants around.
Nice hotel. Polite and well services
Comfortable and friendly and clean
I came to Kagoshima not as a traveler, but as someone moving to the area. I had much to do in a short time, namely get acclimated, secure a place to live, and begin my new job. had booked 3 nights, and ended needing one more night, which I booked online the night before checkout, which still saved me money. The amenities were fine. Internet via Ethernet was included, and it was plenty fast. The bathroom...

Very friendly staff, I had a hotel, cleaning crew stuff quickly, knock and almost walked in on me in my room other than that very small rooms and very quiet
Loved the Japanese style breakfast. Walking distance to the restaurants and supermarket. The room was a bit small, which i was already aware from other travellers' comments, but I didn't mind.
The counter staff is friendly and kind, the breakfast is good, but the room is very small. If it weren't for the Ginowan Sea Festival, the location is very good, otherwise I would choose another hotel.
The service attitude of the beautiful lady at the front desk was good, and she answered all the questions. The free bar and rest area in the store was suitable for working for a while. There was Wi-Fi, and coffee and drinks were available for free. The room was compact, which is a feature of Japanese hotels, and it was relatively clean. It is about 5 minutes' walk from Omoromachi Station. There is...
You can choose your pillow (hardness, height etc) which was a plus for us. Happy hour from 3pm to 9pm was awesome. Staff was reallly helpful.
Besides the small room and toilet which is so small that it is difficult to turn around, Everything else is great High cleanliness The monorail station is also very convenient There are also several convenience stores nearby. There are also several izakayas if you are hungry at night. The staff are also very polite and enthusiastic If you see someone taking photos outside the hotel, come out and help...

Fukuoka Floral Inn Nishinakasu, Fukuoka1 / 25

Kyushu, Fukuoka, 5-10 Nishinakasu, Chuoku 🧭 Map
A very good and clean hotel. Although it's an older hotel and a bit dated, it's still quite nice. It's very convenient for getting around, making it my top choice for business trips. I'll definitely choose to stay here again for future business travel!
Super convenient location! We enjoyed the home-style cooked breakfast. The free curry with rice service at night was such a nice touch and very much appreciated. We are also grateful for the facial and hair product sachets provided. They were a relief for our dry skin. The selection of tea bags was great too! Staff were all friendly and helpful. We got a good deal on a small double bed room which...
It was an amazing stay, cleanliness and amenities were great! Would definitely stay again. However, it is located in an “alleyway” so it may be scary for females to walk back to the hotel at night. Other than that, recommended to book a stay here!
The room was tiny, but it had everything I needed. Hygiene was good, and the location was convenient for getting around. You can grab toiletries and bottled water downstairs, and there are extra pillows and towels by the elevator. Plus, the front desk offers complimentary fruit. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Fukuoka.
1. **Location:** About a 6-minute walk from Tenjin-Minami Station, and within a 10-minute walk to nearby shopping malls. There are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity, so no need to worry about dining. There's a park downstairs, and when I visited, Christmas decorations were already going up, creating a great atmosphere. 2. **Cleanliness:** The bedsheets and duvet covers are replaced, unlike some...
Environment: A bit old and the rooms are quite small, but you can still open your suitcase flat. It was kept very clean. There's a small park right next to the hotel where people sing at night, and there's an Ichiran Ramen nearby. Service: Very attentive. The hotel also provides free bottled water, and there's curry rice available from 8 PM. They even have ice cream for breakfast!

HOTEL LiVEMAX FUKUOKA TENJIN, Fukuoka1 / 11
7.6
Kyushu, Fukuoka, 1-12-17 Kiyokawa 🧭 Map
Similar to the previous two nights I stayed.
The hotel's location is pretty good; it's only two bus stops away from Tenjin Center. The room has a microwave, which is convenient for heating milk and such. The front desk area is a bit cramped, but that's typical for hotels of this type. The front desk staff are all foreign, so communicating in Japanese was a bit difficult. Overall, it offers good value for money.
unable to get refund for the last night as my friend book wrongly but told them last day i will.not.be staying and will leave early as my friend book other hotel wrongly so request for last day to.refund and first night will.be staying but they denied and do not understanding my situation for this thing. as work in hotel industry for so long i believe some will understanding guest situation and at...
The hotel is just three bus stops away from Hakata Station, making it very convenient to get around. There’s a 7-Eleven right downstairs, so there’s no need to worry when you get hungry. Best of all, you can even walk to Ichiran Ramen from the hotel. The room isn’t very large, but it doesn’t feel cramped at all. If I visit Fukuoka again, I would definitely stay here.
A bit far from the main street and public transportation
The bath had a bad smell, it wasn’t bad enough to not stay there and I couldn’t see any obvious mold but I wouldn’t have stayed there more than 2 nights. Apart from that it was quite alright and looking at the price it was not too bad all in all.

Urban Place Inn Kokura, Kitakyushu1 / 25

Kyushu, Kitakyushu, 11-20 Konyamachi, Kokurakita-ku 🧭 Map
Even during the busy December season, you can stay here for as little as ¥3,800 per night. Online prepayment is available; however, Kitakyushu City’s accommodation tax must be paid separately in cash at the hotel (¥200). Including the tax, the total came to ¥4,000. The room is extremely small and the facilities are quite old. If you are only looking for a place to sleep, it should be fine. That said...
Location not the best but walkable to most of the tourists places .. good value for a room , free coffee on t$3 ground floor, restaurant are around the hotel.
It's a little far from Kokura Station, but within walking distance, and it's close to the downtown area, so it's convenient. However, while it's convenient, be careful as there are groups of drunk people who shout strange things in the early hours of the morning. The hotel itself is well-equipped.
It's a bit of a walk from Kokura Station, but it's close to the food and drink district so it's a great place for bar hopping.
We stayed here for two with no meals included, but it was close to the city center and was spacious enough for just sleeping. It had all the basic amenities and was good value for money, so I'd like to stay here again if I come to Kokura.
The room is compact and fine for a one night stay. The walls are thin and the doors are thin so you can easily hear the sounds from the hallway and the neighboring rooms.

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Beppu Seifu, Beppu1 / 23

Kyushu, Beppu, 2-12-21 Kitahama 🧭 Map
Large comfortable clean room. I loved the rooftop onsen. The breakfast and dinner were good, not 5*, but certainly you can find some nice food to fill you up. The only thing I really didn't like was there was no WiFi anywhere except the lobby, and there is nowhere comfortable to sit in there. WiFi is a basic requirement nowadays.
I liked the hotel. Very good selection for breakfast and dinner, convenient onsens, amenities of good quality and wide selection of shampoos, face cleansers, creams, etc. I liked infinity bath on the 7th floor, but due to the strong wind I could enjoy it for long time. However sunset and full moon were do beautiful and bath was comfortably hot. There are table tennis, billiard, massage chairs and...
Room with very good view. Very nice onsen, both indoor and rooftop.
Good value waterfront hotel. It's a bit dated and it could use a majority renovation, but it's fairly clean. Good service, and very good dinner and breakfast . The city view was not worth it. I would pay the extra and book the oceanview.
Room and onsen were good - clean, spacious, lovely view and not crowded. The food for breakfast and dinner average, not Wow type and same menu for our 2 night stay. A big mall nearby but close early 10am to 7pm. The hotel is popular with Japanese, ********* and Koreans but luckily the onsen though only one each indoor and outdoor, was not crowded so can go several time in a day and good amenities provided...
The ryokan style room is very spacious with beautiful sea view. We loved the indoor & outdoor onsen. Good spread at the buffet dinner and breakfast. A very relaxing stay! There is also a DONKI nearby the hotel.

I stayed at LCH Izumizaki Hotel for three days. The single room was comfortable and well-equipped. It’s a great value for solo travelers.
It's really a budget hotel for solo travellers, but great value. The size of the room is comfortable, because of two levels (bed and cosy room upper level), lower level has toilet with shower, nice fridge and comfortable work space. I stayed in total 9days, but definitely I will return. It's great value for the price you are paying. Clean and quiet
Pros: The room was very tiny but had everything I needed. It was very clean and the bed and appliances felt pretty new. Location is good, few minutes walk from the rail and bus stations. Good for the price. Cons: It was a loft bed and the steps were lowkey kind of scary; I almost fell twice when trying to open my luggage. It was also hard to find somewhere to open your luggage since there wasn’t not...
The location is great, walking from the train station for 5 minutes. The hotel is very closed to many convenience stores (just next door), which i really love about this. The staffs are friendly. However, the layout of the room is quite not convenient for me.
ゆいレール県庁前駅から徒歩4分、国際通りまで程近く、ロケーションは最高☆部屋は狭いもののロフトもあるので不便は感じなかった。コンパクトに必要なものは揃っていて、モダンな機能美といった印象。
Excellent location - just a short walk away from the monorail that got me to/from Naha airport. Room was quite a treat and very unique, even among Japanese hotel rooms - it was a loft-like room, with the bed up top, and a desk/washroom/door to the corridor down below. Convenience store (Lawson) is located within the same building, and is accessible from the lobby area. As a solo and able bodied traveler...

The hotel also offers complimentary basic amenities...
Location about 8-10 mins from Yui Monorel station, best staff and they have designated smoking room
I chose this because of the location which is perfect for my trip as I am taking A Line to Yoron the following day. The facility is clean, thanks to those maintaining it. How can I rate the service when it's just check in and there's even a machine? Check in process is straightforward. Trip.com should adjust their survey.
Good place with convenient location, walkable distance (if you like to walk) from the main tourist street, close to the monorail station from which you can quickly get to the airport, convenient store, nice stuff
Cleanliness: Very clean. You can also enjoy the hot springs. Fresh towels, bath towels, and toothbrushes are provided daily. There's a self-service laundry that includes a dryer, but it's not free. The lobby on the first floor is very spacious.

The hotel is in a very convenient location. I could go back and forth while shopping. The staff is also very nice and friendly, they helped me to call taxi to airport very early in the morning too. There are amenities for you to pick up at lobby so you can grab as many as needed.

The room is nice and the shower is clean, comfortable and big. The only disadvantage is that there is no ceiling in the room so everyone actually staying in the same space sharing same air conditioner, in the morning for example I woke up few times because other rooms alarms
Five stars for what it is - a capsule hotel. Nice and friendly reception staff and instructions. Room is small but enough room for one. There is a bit of noise but that is ok. Interesting experience and good choice to try out capsule hotel travel. Suggest you have some ear plugs on you if your a soft sleeper.
Stayed here over a year ago now but my friend and I still rave about the experience - this was one of our top hotel stays during our entire month long trip! The rooms were just large enough, and the inclusion of the storage lockers really helped to make the room feel less cramped with our travelling gear. While initially the shared bathroom concept had me a bit worried, this turned out to be quite...
It was good and fine. There's a sweet fish tank in the lobby/bar area. Consider grabbing some earplugs from the front-- the rooms don't have ceilings. Everything was super clean and the staff was friendly.
More like a capsule hotel but wider rooms with some privacy. Very close to the JR station. So super convenient. But rooms are so close and separated like cubicls that you can hear a lot of noise. If that doesn’t bother you much and looking for a simple place to spend just the night , go for it.
Nice and cozy place to stay, just in front of the station. However beware that it might get noisy (there were noisy guests during my visit)

There was hair on the sheets, which was quite disgusting. Other than that, my stay was fine. The bed was firm and felt very basic.
I have stayed here as 2nd times Good for me and sleep well. Will stay again if visit fuk by myself.
I had to meet a friend at Fukuoka Airport the next day, and I was worried about getting to the airport in the morning, so I stayed here by myself before meeting up with my friend. Depending on the location, it...
The location is great, and for just sleeping there, it's more than sufficient! There are plenty of sinks and toilets, so I never had to wait. However, on the second day, there were some inconsiderate guests making noise late at night and early in the morning. I wish people would be more mindful of others, but I guess that's just a matter of luck and can't be helped. Luckily, the first day was quiet...
Although it's a capsule hotel, it's always clean and comfortable to stay in. While the quality of guests can be a concern in a capsule hotel, most people are considerate, so it's generally fine. However, there are always some self-centered guests who ignore the rules, walking loudly or being oblivious to their surroundings. You just have to accept that it's a matter of luck sometimes.

It's our first time visiting Okinawa. The hotel is actually located near the monorail station of Ashahibashi. In the beginning, we were so silly. We walked up to the footbridge and then walked down. In fact, there was a crosswalk right outside the station that would save us much energy to carry the suitcases up and down the bridge. I am very satisfied with the comfortable space. I would like to come again next time.
Aside from the 🪳, everything else was great. It's practically identical to a typical business hotel in Japan. The facilities themselves are quite new, and the room layout is perfectly acceptable. Mainly due to the tropical climate, it feels like 🪳 is everywhere in Okinawa Prefecture...
Parking was convenient, and the room had everything you'd expect. The room even had an electric massage chair, and a complimentary light meal was included daily – a huge plus! The location was also excellent, with a supermarket and FamilyMart nearby. A super satisfying stay!

Good experience If you leave the air conditioner on, it's comfortable. The interior is so comfortable you wouldn't think it was a container. There's mold and dirt on the walls, so it doesn't feel very clean. The interior shakes when someone walks down the aisle.
