Shower amenities weren't replenished daily, cleaning was only done upon request, and bed linens were changed every three days. Breakfast included—porridge/omelet

The hotel was clean upon arrival. The triple room had a sofa and two beds, but there was only a sink for two

Staff is very nice and understanding, but we had to cancel our reservation because there was no hot water and heating didn’t work in rooms. Food at the restaurant is super cheap and portions are quite big

For my taste it is too oily though. There is a local zoo very close to the hotel

Really good value for money place to stay in Almaty, especially if you are just transiting through the city. Proximity to train station and airport is ideal

The room we had was spacious with all necessary amenities like mini fridge, microwave, kettle, dining table, sofa, space heater and AC. The place is clean, relatively quiet and well maintained

The staff is very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We had Airport transfer both way arranged through the hotel - no issues at all

Everything is fine from the station, two steps away. Nearby are shops and restaurants. To the airport taxi 1200 tenge.

The room was quiet and very clean. The common areas were a bit ragged though, and the WiFi was nonfunctional. The staff spoke little English but were very friendly and helpful.

Bathrooms are poor-ventilated and mouldy, while breakfasts aren't breathtaking. Other than that location is great and rooms are rather cozy (although a bit kitsch).

5 stars for the supermarket, a wonderful selection of products that you rarely find in other stores in the city, excellent coffee, an interesting range of juices and a huge selection of gift chocolate, I advise you to visit the supermarket if you want to surprise your loved ones or relatives with high-quality and exclusive products

There are few people, no hustle and bustle, no crowds, no noise, no din. The food is quite good, and I've especially developed a taste for the salads and pastries

We were pleasantly surprised to find such neat hotels along the highway. We were traveling from Almaty to Burabay and decided to take a break en route, and this hotel was our choice

I didn't go inside the building. There's a large parking lot, a barrier, and a security booth. The grounds are level and clean. The building looks like it's not in Karaganda

There is a large lobby with two rooms with couches. It is a bit on the spartan side. You can meet people there, but I would recommend the restaurant, even for just drinks and snacks

This is a good hotel, especially for Kzylorda which doesn't have a lot of options. The bed is a bit firm, but not bad. There is a flat screen and a mini-fridge

It has a wall heating and cooling unit, not a wall thermostat and central HVAC. The desk has a dining room style chair, not a work chair, but it is functional

It could be awkward to stay here if you aren't with someone that speaks Russian or Kazakh, although you could always try to get by with Google Translate

First of all, this hotel stands out from the architectural point of view, you don't see that many hotels in town in that design and it brings value not only in the anesthetics but in pure practicality- it makes this hotel a landmark that is easy to find, especially when you don't know the city well and have to tell the cab driver where to go 😉 The lobby is the typical size without the Grand entrance...

I enjoyed big windows, spacious shower, comfortable bed, and the AC (traveling in June you want the AC in your room, trust me!) There is a laundry service, which is so great for a week-long stay in hot summer, and the restaurant downstairs

It is the best setting to start or end the day with. I had a variety of meals there though my stay, and I confess that every single meal tasted great - fresh, well prepared and full of flavor

I must mention the interior! As the name of the hotel implies, this restaurant has the same name and an avid dedication to the artworks of Van Gough surrounded by the lavish interior

I stayed there for a week and was the only one who had a large "check-in style" suitcase, most of the people travel for business in much lighter fashion

There are no elevators at the hotel, please keep it in mind if you have an excessive luggage - it may take you a few trips to get it to the room

The bathroom has heated floors. Not every hotel (almost nowhere) has heated floors in the bathroom

A nice, quiet hotel. One downside is the distance from grocery stores. This inconvenience is offset by the good kitchen located on the ground floor. The service is attentive. I recommend it for business travelers.

I lived near this hotel. I've been inside once, nice interior but too high prices. Very clean and if you have not much money this place doesn't worth to stay there more than 24hrs.

Cozy, not big hotel. There is a bathhouse located in Chubary. 20 - 30 minutes to bus stops and large shops. on foot.
